History

Established in 2006.

Dr. Aquino completed her undergraduate degree at Georgetown University and her M.D. at Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed her general surgery residency at Boston Medical Center (Boston University) and continued as a Smithwick Fellow of Vascular Surgery, training under James Menzoian, MD. Dr. Aquino went to Eastern Virginia Medical Center to do a specialized fellowship in endovascular surgery. She has been in the Bay Area since 2006 serving San Francisco, San Mateo, Marin, and the East Bay.

Dr. Aquino is board certified in both general surgery and vascular surgery. She has extensive interest and experience with treatment of vein disorders and venous disease. In addition, her practice encompasses a full range of vascular surgery treating such conditions as carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysms, and peripheral vascular disease.

Her hospital affiliations include St. Mary’s Medical Center, St. Francis Memorial Hospital, and Seton Medical Center. She accepts most insurance plans and is a provider for both Hill Physicians and Brown and Toland.
