Only reason I come here ever is because they got basic ass coffee that tastes nostalgic. Hash browns, mad decent. They say they serve breakfast all day but I couldn’t get a biscuit at 10:40 am. Do they only serve it during non breakfast hours? That’s whacky Ronald, who’s making the rules out there at headquarters, grimace? @McDonald’s: you should offer drive through customers ketchup with their hash browns. When you drive home and there’s no ketchup and the meal is mad decent, I just want some of that high fructose corn syrup tomato paste to make it tastier. That costs you what, .02 per packet? I had a lower quality experience because your skimming every penny you can off each order. 2⁄5 homies. McDonald, get your sh*t together.

Let me first say that this is the closest Mcdonalds to the hospital I work at so if Im getting off late at night this is a quick fix. This place doesnt even deserve 1 star actually. It deserves NEGATIVE stars. We literally ordered a «number 5 with a large sweet tea» and a «number 9 with a sweet tea». the screen said medium sweet tea for the second meal and we corrected her and said«LARGE sweet tea» . the lady taking the order really said«why cant you say large from gate cuz its hard to change» OMG i know there are a lot of stupid fucks in the world. but forreal!!! get a new job ghetto bitch. oh and when we got to the window they were COMPLETELY out of sweet tea. we waited 6 whole minutes until a different lady asked us «what are you waiting for?» uh our food duhhhh!!! dont come here unless you want your blood pressure through the roof because its filled with dumb fucks!

The food is consistent here but the service is hit or miss. I have had my orders messed up a few times. Make sure to check your order before you leave this location!

I never rate McDonald’s joints, but here goes. You’ll see why. 1) FRIES! I was lucky enough to get a fresh, hot, salty batch of perfect fries. Thanks, guys. 2) Top notch quality on the rest of the food we ate. I know, it’s fast/junk food. But the nuggets were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside — fresh and hot. The Big Mac tasted so good it made me feel nostalgic and remember being in swim team as a kid and getting to go to Mickie D’s after a swim meet. 3) Quick, friendly service a the drive thru. OKAY. So. The rest of my review is going to discuss the environment around this McDonald’s — because you need to know. We get our food and I’m chowing down right out of the drive thru because I’m starved. We pull out into the street and we’re stuck bumper to bumper with others trying to work their way out of the mess that is Bayshore Blvd to either get out of the city(it was quittin’ time) or get to their homes outside Bayshore. Lo and behold, what appears before our very eyes? A woman, walking from the end of the block toward us. From the waist down, she was NAKED. Bare as the day she entered the world. Glory box on display for everyone, but she didn’t even seem to care or notice. She was practically speed walking, obviously focused more on her task(whatever that was) than her lack of clothes while walking through a traffic jam. We got home and laughed through the awkwardness of seeing someone in need of help, whether or not they realized it. Then our hunger returned and we devoured everything. This is life in San Francisco.

I generally do not write reviews for fast food restaurants but I felt the need to write one for this McDonalds location after getting food poisoning while on my way back from a road trip. The location of this McDonald’s is in the industrial area of SF and tends to attract a few seedy individuals so I wouldn’t recommend walking here or coming too late at night. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich meal and within a few hours I felt horrible. I ended up getting food poisoning which has only happened a small number of times my entire life. I personally would never come back to this location from my experience and knowing the area I would recommend going to the location in Daly City or a few miles more to one of the city SF locations.

i am not picky when it comes to customer service at fast food places. i worked at one in my teens so i know what it feels like to work in a fast food chain but i will never go back to this mcdonalds again!!! — was in a hurry one morning. ordered drinks but didn’t get to drink it right away. when i got to work i found out the guy forgot to give me a straw. — ordered chicken nuggets with the garlic parmesan powder. the girl forgot to give me a bag to mix the powder with my nuggets — ordered fries, nuggets, and a burger. this time i checked the bag just to make sure i got everything. the girl at the drive thru forgot my fries. so i told her she forgot my order. she then proceeded to put her hand on her waist and motioned for the bag back. like dang, sorry you forgot my order and i have to inconvenience you and ask for what i ordered because you know, i paid for that. sheesh.

As stated in other reviews about fast food chains, you can’t com to Unilocal for the quality because really if you don’t know what quality of food McDonalds serves, it’s time to get back in your time travel machine. This location has a couple of great things working for it. They have a drive-thru in San Francisco, and they are open 24 hours(drive-thru only at certain times but accepts walk ups). These two things make them awesome. Though, their drive-thru can often be longer than inside. I’ve seen lines ten cars long with a completely empty lobby. I will say that they have a nice mixed of friendly staff who really care and aren’t so jaded. This is refreshing considering I’m only paying $ 2 for a McDouble. These types of things are nice to experience once in awhile and to know that capitalism hasn’t eroded everything yet. This location surpasses any other I’ve seen in San Francisco, so they get my kudos for that. I have had management try and refuse to allow me refill, and the the territory manager did nothing about this, which turned me off to them for awhile. When managers turn away paying customers, it’s not acceptable, especially when the customers have done nothing wrong. My only gripe is paying at the drive-thru. A couple times, I have had to show the employee how to swipe a credit card and accept payment. That’s ludicrous. I shouldn’t be having to teach your employees this. Your managers should be teaching them this. All in all, it’s in the Bayview, and that speaks for itself. Expect the occasional obnoxious car behind you in the drive-thru or @**hole driving down Bayshore the wrong way to avoid traffic. It’s happened, but the restaurant can’t really be blamed for these.

Super disgusted, besides the fact they got my order wrong, I paid for 2 mcdoubles, 1 McChicken, mocha frapp, and vanilla shake and got caramel frapp, one mcdouble and mcchicken, besides all that CRAP, I go ahead and eat only to see a f. cking booger in my burger… I’m so pissed off I kept calling and calling asking for the manager and they kept hanging up on me and never passing me the manager. if this is some stupid joke we’ll see who’s laughing when I report this to the health department.

I know I’m wasting time reviewing this location because few check for fast food on Unilocal and even fewer will bother checking for this location but I feel obligated to share for the one person per year who might. 3 words war zone, chaos and seedy are what come to mind. The good: It has ample parking and easy access to 101 The bad: There’s so many people coming from so many directions trying to squeeze into the drive thru that it actually creates a traffic jam. Vagrants will actually stare at you for minutes on end, even if you’re not eating(in your car in the parking lot) No electrical outlets to recharge a smartphone or use a laptop Everything looks either dirty or faded as if nothings been fixed or replaced since it first opened. Super dark, bring a flashlight

Mcdonald’s here may be the only one i’ve encountered that doesn’t charge $ 1 for all sizes of it’s coffee. $ 1.29 for a medium. didn’t find it on their menu. paid it anyways. parking lot is full even if the eatery isn’t.

I’ve always been a fan of McDonalds maybe cause I grew up on it. Every so often I have that McDs craving. I normally wouldn’t write a post for McDs but had to cause I bit into a hard piece of white plastic the size of a finger nail from a chicken nugget today :(. I also shared the meal with my one year old so I’m just fortunate it was me who bit into it, not her. Just be careful with the chicken nuggets!

The most horrible horrible customer service from a employee name LUA! I came in at 9:59 to buy food to a homeless and the doors were close already and it was supposed to close at 10pm! She was very rude towards us! Saying who open the dooor when another customwr saw us opened for us. She was like wtf who opened the door towards us!!! That is soooooo unprofesional and disrespectful to anyone and racist toward a homeless person! I spent $ 25 in food for them and i hate that this employee was sooo shaddy towards us! Wilmer wilJ

Bacon, Egg and Cheese McGriddles Meal is absolutely delicious. I’ve been eating Egg and Sausage McMuffins all this time and today, I finally dig in to trying a new menu item. The McGriddles Breakfast Sandwich buns were very delicious and had savory sweetness flavoring loaded. Savory sweetness of these buns had the taste and texture of breakfast pancakes. This is how much I enjoy the McGriddle Breakfast Sandwiches. It is so good, I’m craving for another one while writing this update. This McDonald’s location isn’t as crowded as some of the locations I’ve been to before. Plenty of seats available when I come in, efficient services, clean restaurant and friendly staff. A parking lot is available for patrons — a plus for the availability of this amenity. 2÷13÷2014: I have been eating the Bacon, Egg and Cheese McGriddle since I tried this item. Today, I made the switch to trying the Sausage, Egg and Cheese McGriddle and it is one of the perfect meal combos for a quick breakfast. 5÷28÷2014: Medium Iced Coffee and Hash Browns — it’s delicious and I love it. I’ve been ordering orange juice with my breakfast and today, I dig into ordering an iced coffee(French Vanilla). 1÷16÷2015: The Strawberry & Crème flavored pie is delicious — I enjoyed it. One of my favorite pies since the S’mores flavored pie. So far, I’ve tried Apple pie and S’mores pie along with the Strawberry & Crème pie. All three pie flavors are delicious.

Great staff — great food. High quality service I expect from McDonald’s. Best part — additional mac sauce is free.

Hate this McDonald’s but currently this is the only option I have. The place has this weirdly designed parking lot, the lot always has people taking 2 spots and is difficult making a U-turn. The place has people who stay in there for most of the day. A ghetto version of Starbucks.

I was blown away with the staff here. WOW! Everyone were upbeat especially after 2AM. I am fortunate to have had this experience at this Mcdonald’s drive-thru location and so touch and humbled. This is probably one of the best service I have experience from any McDonalds in a very long time. My orders were never perfect, but what meant more to me was the fact that they were genuinely apologetic and very polite in how they say it. FYI — this location gets extremely busy especially after clubbing hours(Friday & Saturday @ 2AM on). The lines will go out as far as half a block away from their parking lot. So just be patient and know that it is first come first serve and they do try very hard to get you in and out as quickly as they can. During the weekday after 11PM — there is a line as well and continues on from what I was told until about 1AM.
