Okay this guy saved me with a nightmare Employee, ten stars. I hired someone who sued employers for a living, big mistake. Thankfully I consulted with Mike when I first opened my business, he complied many documents to help protect me as an Employer. Hiring Mike as my HR Consultant was one of the smartest operational moves that I have made in my agency. I am a State Farm agent here in San Francisco and was referred to Mike from another successful agent who I trust immensely. When she told me I needed to hire Mike ASAP, I knew he was an important resource to help manage the HR of my business. And boy was she right! Every time I want to hire someone, it’s as easy as a quick email to Mike. He then contacts the new employee and provides steps for the hiring process. He is always up to date with CA laws (because CA likes to do things bigger and better) and notifies me to make sure I stay compliant. He also got me through letting go of an employee, although it was mutual feelings, he made sure it was handled properly, in writing, and emailed her follow up upon her ending employment with me. His work is consistent and quick to respond to all my inquiries. I have since referred him to my other fellow agent friends. 5 big stars to you Mike! Thank you for everything!

Michael is my HR Consultant. I’ve been talking about him a lot lately. He has helped me ensure that my employee handbook is compliant. He has also done a great job talking me through the new sick leave law coming into effect 7÷1÷15. He’s working with me on employee reviews and will be there to help me if I need to do any disciplinary actions as well as help with on boarding and off boarding, etc., etc. It feels great not to have to be an expert at everything in my business. I have an ongoing monthly subscription wtih Michael and man, is he worth it. He started with reviewing my handbook and showing me areas that I needed to clarify and revise. He’s coached me on strategies to develop my employees and keep them happy. On the flip side, he’s also coached me on how to discipline and terminate employees that were not performing. Michael helps me keep on top of my documents and alerts me on changes that I am required to implement. Like when SF decided to raise minimum wage. Sigh. California is such a complicated state to do business in. I am so happy that I found him and recommend him to all my clients.
