I had a custom facial with Maureen. Unlike so many places, she really does customize based on your skins needs. I love that she is able to make my skin glow and look more youthful using gentle products. She is so knowledgeable and helpful. I asked her for information on what products to use. Rather than selling me a whole system, she gave me very generous sizes of samples so I could try them before I buy them. Fantastic experience overall and I’m happy to say that Maureen will be my skin care expert going forward.

I remember when Maureen Schilling first got started as an aesthetician. Her practice has evolved to include certification as an educator and as a medical aesthetician. She cares deeply about her clients and is careful to treat each person’s skin care needs with the individual’s health in mind.
There’s nothing quite like a relaxing, soothing facial, and Maureen uses the finest products and techniques to keep her clients looking and feeling their best. Whenever I have an important appointment or special occasion, I see Maureen!
A couple years ago, however, I was diagnosed with Lymphedema, which is most simply described as chronic swelling due to inadequate circulation by the lymph system. Maureen’s body work treatments have helped to increase the circulation in my legs so that I feel better and have more energy when I walk. Maureen trained as a classical ballet dancer and she truly understands how people move. I cannot thank her enough for all that she does to help me with this condition.

I’ve seen her for facials, back facials, Radiancy, and micro-​current; I’ve even been through two peels with her as my skin guru. On the night before new year’s eve, I got a breakout! And, as a new mom, I don’t get out much, so having a breakout on new year’s eve was just unacceptable. My regular facial superstar was unreachable, so I decided to try Maureen, who was able to squeeze me in at the last minute on a Friday evening!
Maureen’s space struck me right away as very relaxing and professional. The room is spacious! It is set-​up with lots of skincare products elegantly displayed, and an amazingly comfortable table, which is heated to a cozy temperature. Maureen started off by offering me some water or tea, and a goodie bag of samples — I love samples!
She immediately was able to assess that my skin is «water-​dry, but also oily» which is something I’d never heard, but it describes my skin exactly. She also could tell my heritage just by looking at my skin. Clearly, Maureen has been doing skincare for a while and knows her stuff.
The facial was absolutely comprehensive and so relaxing as well. Maureen is a gentle touch, and did not go too deep with extractions, which was great since I had a big night out the very next day, and certainly didn’t want to end up blotchy! She handled my big zit with care, and indeed it was invisible if not disappeared by morning.
Finally, she waxed my brows perfectly, and tinted them as well. I love not having to draw them in for a few weeks. They looked fabulous on NYE, if I do say so myself, and still are great a week later after they have faded a bit.
She sent me home glowing, and ready to go to bed. So nice. And, the samples lasted me a few days, and I really like the skincare! All organic stuff and natural stuff, too.

Maureen Schilling provides absolutely fabulous skin care. My friends accuse me of having ‘work’ done but I insist it is the skin care that is making all the difference! (I found my younger sister staring intently at my face last night-​she doesn’t believe I haven’t had work done). I highly recommend Maureen to anyone who hasn’t tried an esthetican before or if they are not satisfied with their current results.
