Food is very good. They have a unique twist on HK style baked plates. Came here with my family last night and was pleasantly surprised! Baked rice with beef brisket and vegetables was on point! Will be coming back

Pretty good dessert especially if you are a fan of hk dessert and mango. They also opens late, for me it’s a substitute with creation. It’s cash only so remember to bring cash. It also seems like a one person managed restaurant.

I walk past this place often and it always looks so cute and romantic from the outside. I was really excited to finally try it out but both times I’ve been here the service left a bitter taste in my mouth. The first time I came with a date our server was very short with us. However, it was a busy night and it seemed she was the only worker so I let it slide. A month later I came again with a group of friends bc it was the only boba place opened late around the area. We were the only ones in the restaurant and our server made it such a terrible experience. When my friend asked for Thai tea with boba she was very rude and said they don’t have boba. My friend then said she didn’t want the Thai tea anymore but the server said she had to order something bc its $ 5 minimum per person. Ugh, we wanted to leave right there but just sucked it up and ordered an appetizer. The food is good however. I love their jasmine green milk tea! It’s warm, creamy, the perfect amount of sweetness and very affordable! I also would highly reccomend their pork belly with bok choy appetizer! My friend also had a mango dessert with grass jelly and jello that was delicious. The organic red bean drink was bitter and not tasty at all. Overall I wouldn’t come back here again unless I’m really craving a few choice items.

I’ve never been SO conflicted over what to rate a restaurant before. The conflicting aspect is that the good choices on the menu here are 5 stars The ambience is 4 stars Service is 1 – 2 stars depending on when you come Random fees and charges is 1 star, the owner is clearly ridiculously cheap But I’m someone who fundamentally believes you go to a restaurant, particularly a Chinese run restaurant, for the food. And I usually only take points off for ridiculous rudeness or hairs in food. So the weighted average might be 3.5 stars? Or pick and choose your own weighting system. First of all, try to come here before 8. I came here last night with my Macaunese friends who knew better, and we arrived at 7:30 and were the very first group there. Our entire group ordered separate meals, but I took bites of others minus the meat parts as I don’t eat meat: Drinks: Mango frappé(***, not flavorful) Sesame Soymilk(****, flavor is delicious, but cup was tinyyy for $ 3, minus one star for that) Ginger soymilk(*****, truly delicious) Chocolate Chai latte(****, it was tasty but for some reason, when they brought out everyone else’s drinks in the beginning, they brought this drink out at the very end, with the desserts!) Meals: Beef brisket pasta(didn’t try) Bacon fried rice(didn’t try, heard it was ** stars) kimchi fried rice(*****, the thing is, this dish is delicious where ever you go, I wouldn’t go here for this) Portuguese baked vegetarian rice(***** my meal, Conclusion: come to this place for the Baked rice dishes, that’s where it’s at!) Desserts: Black sticky rice with adzuki bean(*****) Mango with cold tofu fa(*****) Mango wrapped in thin pancake(****, tasty but really cheap on the Mango and heavy on whipped cream) conclusion: come here for the baked rice, desserts, and drinks. Watch out for ridiculous random fees like for hot water, take out containers, etc. Proceed with caution because if you come after 8:30 like most people, expect to wait until your emaciated.

The Mango bliss with tofu is my favorite dessert in the whole city. Fresh home made tofu that compliments the ice cream perfectly. Also, the Thai sticky rice is a must try!

I love this tiny hole in the wall, with just enough character and ambience to feel super comfy. They are always open late with exceptional customer service. The lady handles the entire place by herself. My SO come back again and again for their #4 Taro azukar with tofu. We’ve also tried their other desserts, from mango to strawberry bliss that comes with coconut milk and vanilla icecream. Tofu is always smooth and silky. They always deliver.

The food is absolutely amazing. AMAZING! If you love Asian food /dessert, you will definitely love this place. I get it that the service is not as good, but if you talk to her nicely and be nice to her, she will be nice to you. The Durian desserts are to die for!

The food was alright, but the service was terrible… I only like the mango dessert and that’s the reason I kept coming to this place. If they can improve their service, I think it will be all good.

If there is a zero, I will definitely give. The worst service that I have seen. Food is only ok and pretty expansive relative to the quality. Will never come again.

Terrible place. Place is dirty, service is rude. Avoid at all costs. We came in about an hour before closing, they told us kitchen is closing soon and not to order anything hot. Service was slow and dessert was bland. Will not return. Hope SF gets a decent dessert place soon!

The food is decent, but the service was the worst I ever had in any restaurant I ever been to. There was only one waitress running the entire place, and she is not shy to show everyone how badly she hates her job. I had been here twice. The first time, I thought she was just having a really rough day. The second time, I think her job is slowly killing her on the inside. She would give out a sigh if you were to ask about something on their menu, and she would grow irritated if you asked for a bigger to go box to pack your left over food to go. If I had to make a list of rude people I have encountered in my life, she would top that list(The mugger who demanded my phone and my wallet would be a close second, though I think I might prefer him to be the server instead).

I had very high expectations for Mango Medley because my girlfriend and her best friend hyped this place up so harddddd. Came here at 8PM on a weekday, and was seated promptly. Parking was semi-easy since this is a residential area. It took us probably 20 minutes before the old Canto lady(probably only one of two total workers here) serving as a waitress took our order. Service here is very slow. I’m talking snail slow, not even turtle slow. Our food probably took 1 hour to actually arrive and guess what? It looked like someone vomited, threw it in an oven, then brought it out. My baked porkchop rice tasted like ass. The veggies were not fresh, and pork was very thick and of a fatty cut. Finally, dessert: the mango pillows, which I’m sure you’re here for. As their signature dish, Mango Pillows, in theory sounds like an amazing fluffy cloud that you can rest your head on, but in reality, all you get are canned mangos sliced and placed in some whipped cream and hastily thrown in a crêpe skin. Great in theory, terrible in execution. Probably won’t be returning.

This tiny getaway in the outer sunset has the most incredible food, fruit, milk tea, ginger tea, etc. I’m a little disappointed in the service and the laws that they strictly enforce, which are overwhelming to say the least. You can’t share plates, there’s a $ 5 minimum per person in groups of 6 or more, bathroom use before ordering will result in a $ 5 charge, to go containers are $ 0.50, 15% gratuity required for groups larger than 6, outside food items will result in a $ 2 disposal fee, etc. This dictatorship has wonderful desserts and entrees, but strict dish and bathroom laws, fees, and fines. To sum it up, the food is wonderful but the service is lacking.

The last time I came here, I remember it being a lot bigger… Anyways, I come here for the Jasmine Milk Tea Frappé. If you’re a fan of Jasmine, I highly recommend you try this drink because you can really taste the jasmine :) The mango desserts are pretty good and they’re especially good when mangos are in season! However, service is very slow… you’d need to walk up to pay or wave down the waiter. *They require everyone who sits to spend a min of $ 4.50

My friends and I have been coming here for several years for the Mango Bliss desert which is Mango ice cream, mangos, coconut sauce, mango sauce, and you can pick a base like panna cotta or jelly unfortunately our last visit will be the last. The service was always spotty, food took an incredible amount of time, and pricing would fluctuate. For example, when ordering the«shrimp salad» we would be told, «shortage on shrimp so $ 2 extra charge». Okay, slap on the extra charge. This was all tolerated because of the Mango Bliss. Our recent visit we all ordered the Mango Bliss. After we placed our order she comes back and says, «.75 extra for mango ice cream». The menu describes the Mango Bliss with mango ice cream priced at 6.95, but now you’re verbally charging extra for mango ice cream. Okay, slap on the extra charge. Our mango bliss come out unusually fast. Mangos are sour and acidic. Rotten mangos. We have been solid, flexible and accommodating customers for years and this business could care less.

Came here the other night. There was no one in here but old dishes on tables when we entered. The waitress then comes out and seats us. They do have a lot to offered food wise but the service here is pretty poor. When my friends ordered off the fried rice page, the waitress would shout at them to pick a protein. It isn’t that obvious on the menu so instead of nicely explaining she just kept telling us to find it on the menu. My friend didn’t want egg in his fried rice and told her. She gives him a fried rice with egg. When he told her, she sighed loudly when she picked up the dish to have it remade. The service is pretty bad but the food was decent. I enjoyed my strawberry bliss but the panna cotta tasted a bit funky. Not sure if I will come back here. Street parking.

*CASHONLY* It’s not that I didn’t like this place, it’s that the whole atmosphere and service was completely off-putting. The dessert was decent but the server and their shop policy is a little ridiculous for a dessert house. I get that there is limited seating and it’s not a large place, but holy crap, I almost left had I not circled around for parking for a while. 1) Mango Medley was good. Not too sweet and not too decadent. 2) Mango Tofu-Fa was also good. Overpriced but tasty. My friend and I stopped in on a super slow Wednesday evening. There were a total of 3 other tables aside from us. We couldn’t sit wherever we wanted, which I understand but the lady hastily told us to sit in a certain spot. I get that there’s not too many people working, but she could have been nicer about. Our table DIDNOT have their shop policy(See Photo). It was my first time here and I did not realize they had such policies. My friend and I were going to share the Mango Medley and then she grabs the policy from another table and shows us that there is a $ 5 minimum per person. Okay, so much for sharing. I ended up ordering the Mango Tofu-Fa to-go. Silly me, I should have just ordered the dessert to-go instead. She ended up bringing us out some water and I was hesitant because I didn’t want to get charged for something that I didn’t order. I mean, look at their policy regarding tea. –_____– We finished our Mango Medley and took our to-go order and left. I would not come back unless someone I loved really wanted to come try it out and even then, I would consider other options first. The lady is down right rude.

This is such a cute little shop. Doesn’t feel like all those other Asian dessert places with the K-pop music videos in the back. Too bad there was only one lady working the entire place. I’d say this place seats 25 – 30 and it was a full house when I came. I see this little lady running around taking orders, bringing out food, bringing the checks and waters, she was obviously overwhelmed. I felt bad for her! But I also wanted my desserts. In a timely matter. My mango pillow was good. Whipped cream and one slice of mango wrapped with a crêpe. Wish there was more mango though. We also had the mango tofu and the mango with sticky rice. Do you sense a theme here? We ARE dining at Mango Medley, not Kiwi Kitchen. Both were pretty tasty, mangos were sweet and tasted fresh. I have no complaints. I did notice the other tables had mussels and some sort of pasta which looked pretty good-so that’ll be something I need to try another day. Overall, if you have time, this place is great for you and your friend to catch up. Otherwise if you’re just hoping to grab a quick bite to eat? I’d suggest going somewhere else until you notice another waitstaff working.

Mango Tango. Ordered: — Panna Cotta with Taro and Azuki $ 5.25 — Strawberry Bliss $ 6.95 — Fresh Mango Pillows(4) $ 6.50 — Durian/Banana Pillows(4) $ 7.15 Tina’s Tricks and Ticks — Total Amount $ 28.11 without tip — Parking on the street isn’t easy to find — Unisex restroom and limited seating space — Lady was super impatient though. Haha, really wanted us to order quickly. On the other hand, we were indecisive. — Most orders came with either 2 – 4 servings for sharing. — These pillows were soft and crêpe-like wrapped fruits. It was alright depending on the flavor. — I could’ve done without the strawberry bliss, super sweet for my taste. — Panna cotta wasn’t anything special, but the taro and azuki made us curious to order it. — I wasn’t too impressed, would I be back? Maybe not.
