History
Established in 1971.
Mainline Security was established by good friends Ted Levine and Dan Scouten, both native New Yorkers. Ted was already a locksmith in New York and convinced Dan to relocate on the west coast and start their own business.
They set their sights on downtown San Francisco with the idea of providing absolute key control and unparalleled customer service.
Mainline quickly moved to the forefront of the security field by being one of only six locksmiths in the country to provide such a high level of security to its customers.
With a tough New York background and a strict attitude toward protecting its clients, Mainline’s security services were unmatched.
In 1995 with the untimely passing of its two original owners, Mainline Security was in the hands of its three longest working and most loyal employees.
Today, Larry Thrasher, John Anderson and Roy Pisetsky continue the tradition and quality of customer service that was taught and passed on to them.
