I booked Magic Minis for my 5-​year old daughter’s birthday party because of the good reviews here at Unilocal.However, our experience with her was not so great. First, I find it awkward that she asked for payment first before we can officially book her. Then on the day of the event she’s 30 minutes late. When she arrived she took quite a while to setup her face painting stuff and then took a long time to face paint each kid. I do face paints myself and I’m pretty good at it (and much faster too) but I can’t do it if I’m the one hosting. So after face painting only 4 kids out of 10, she stopped and she said it’s time she does magic. So we have to turn away kids that were in line for face painting. Before she began her magic, she took a long time cleaning her brushes and putting them away. It seems like she’s not in a good mood during that time and all the parents saw that. It’s embarrassing as I’m the one who found her and yet she not pleasing the crowd. One of my guests commented, «she doesn’t look like she likes her job.» She performed 3 tricks and that was it. I’m giving her 2 stars as the birthday girl so far enjoyed the special treatment. However, she just focused very much on the birthday girl and a few kids closed to her. So the kids on the 2^nd and 3^rd row (they were sitting on a mat) didn’t even understand what’s going on in the front. I’m not happy with the service I received. It’s not worth a penny.

Safire painted my face for Halloween and it was amazing!

Mimi and Mo were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were quick to respond to our request and were extremely thoughtful and creative! The children were thrilled to see them and the wonderful balloon animals and shapes were truly priceless. We would love to work with them again. All-​around great service. Thanks Mimi and Mo!

We’ve had Mimi for a few birthday parties and school celebrations and she’s been fabulous! It’s so cool she does magic, baloons and facepainting, a fun range of activities!
