The dentist gave me an appointment card and I arrived on time later on that day. Then I waited for literally 2 hours for my turn.
What is the use of making an appointment then？

When I am preparing to go to medical, office I personally care most of all about quality and care. Dr. Ma is an outstanding Doctor with a clear vision of what needs to be done, and why. He also is a true Provider. He always explains the way how to prevent problem from occurring and describes what will happen if patient does not follow directions. The quality of his work is very high. I am very satisfied with implants, fillings and I always recommend Dr. Ma to my peers and family.
About the office: frankly it is difficult to find an office staff is more caring than Dr. Ma’s. The champion of care is Lena. She is very highly qualified Doctor Assistant and Office Manager. She is incredibly knowledgeable and kind.
The bottom line is that the visit to the Dentist can be pleasant if you happen to be a patient of Dr. Ma and Lena!

Dr Ma has been my dentist since 1999. He is the great dentist. He is caring, explains in details what he is doing, explains the problems, explains the diagnosis, provides options. He is very pro-​active and warns about possible issues in advance.

Dr. M Ma might be a very good professional in the past… but now days it turned out that business and amount of patients became the first priority for that office. Very inattentive, sometimes rude. Every time I went for adjustment I felt unwelcoming, even guilty that something does not fit and hurts. Everything is outdated in the office. The only highlight of the office is office manager/​assistant –Lena. A lot of attention to patients, very welcoming and warm person.
I stopped going to that office and changed the dentist, and will never go back

This review probably violates Unilocal rules because i’ve had dental work done here over 1.5 years ago. Still I’m compelled to review Dr. Ma.
More specifically — i want to review the root canal dr. Ma has performed. I have absolutely no experience critiquing dentistry. My qualifications are less than nil because — i was in need of a root canal. That right there clearly demonstrates that i let the state of my dental health to deteriorate to an unacceptable level. But regardless Dr Ma, was unphased and has performed the complicated procedure in a way that i can’t complain about. Not only can i not complain, when he finished he commented that it turned out pretty good. I’d have left it at that and moved on, except that a few years later i’ve gone to different dentists (for cleanings and such), and maxilofacial surgeons (wisdom teeth removal), all of whom complimented the root canal. Now i dont know if thats a standard thing that all dentists do, or if they were genuine, but it did make me feel good about the good Dr. Ma’s work.
So if its root canals you need — Dr. Ma is your guy.
