Rare is the shopping experience that is a feast to the eyes, as well as the pocket. Today’s the last day of the open sale, that’s twice a year. Attended last night, & took home many treasures. So reasonable for such high quality. First class! My fellow shoppers were buying for Christmas & other presents. Not just for entertaining! The staff & owner are very helpful, they even brought my packages out to the curb.
One shopper bought a present for his neighbor’s 5 year old, a cool piggy bank; another bought some progressively smaller star shaped bowels (among many other items), that came in a small flat box (suitable for shipping). Another a duvet/​quilt. For a quick preview of quality go to their web site:
I took home a rectangular cake plate, perfect for your Citizen Cake’s strawberry trifle cake, as well as a platform for votive candles. Huge savings for high end objects what qualifies as art.

Stopped there today to check out sale recommended by SFGate. Lots of nice polished shiny stuff for home, trays and photo frames and all kinds of serving dishes and silverware. I liked the apple– and pear-​shaped bowls, and long silvery trays for candles, or appetizers, or whatever.
The problem is… it all looks like it’s made for people who actually throw dinner parties. We are not like that yet, and our apartment is full as it is. So I left empty-​handed.
Bonus: the cutest dog greeted me when I got to the second floor, where the actual design studio is located. When I was leaving, he followed me to the door, as if to say goodbye.
