Wow! This is the worst manicure I ever gotten! I went in this morning and Lucy, the owner was the one who did my nails! When I walked out, I knew it was badly done! I am someone who never want to cause trouble so I just left without saying anything! But at night, when I got home and looked at my nails again, it already started peeling pretty bad!!! The top layer of the polish already coming off! Please keep in mind I pay extra for gel polish! It’s suppose to last me at least 2 weeks without chipping! But this time it didn’t even last me a full day! I felt like she did it extremely fast and skipped procedures! Most important, she didn’t even put on the polish right! I will for sure go back there first thing in the morning to get my money back because this is ridiculous ! With French tip gel, I paid $ 27 with tips! I knew I shouldn’t tipped her $ 4 even though I knew she did such a bad job from the beginning but at the same time I feel bad for not tipping. Even though it’s a cheap place to get your nails done but I rather pay couple bucks more and go somewhere else! Horrible experience!

So I have been here many many times. Its right by my restaurant on cortland. So its a easy walk to mission. I have only gone here to get my nails done or what they call full set If you go Robert and Lucy are the ONLY ones who will do a good job! I was in a rush last week and it has been 3 weeks since robert did my nails they were still perfect just grown out. So I needed a fill robert was busy so the other man who works there did my nails. Man he clearly did NOT know what he was doing. Needless to say less then 1 week and my hair is getting stuck in my nails. And I had to refile my nails on the edges because they were way too thick. Uugh the worst. 5 stars for robert and lucy 0 for the rest I need to go back to robert for a fill I will be clear only with him!

So my new nail place was closed for the day so I thought why not go back see what’s going on. Horrible horrible horrible. My nails were filed straight, the acrylic has bubbles is in and the person who did it almost filed my skin off. needless to say I will not be back here.

Been going to this place for a while and have been happy each and everytime. If I want to get a gel full set($ 25) or get fill in($ 17-$ 18), this is the ONLY place I trust to do it right. I always make sure that I ask for Robert and if he’s not available, I’ll come back another day. Or call and make an appt and ask if he’s available. If you do this, you will not have to wait in the line that can be about 3 – 4 people deep. I have been known to wait a month to get a fill(yeah, i know) when he was on vacation. Amazingly enough, even waiting a month to get a fill isn’t that bad since there are no air bubbles or lifting of the gel. I do stop in to get pedicures from Lucy(Robert’s wife). She very soft spoken, but nice and thorough with her nail services.

I went there today to get a full set. It said $ 16 on all of the signs posted all over the place. The guy did my nails and he basically glued my fingers together, I am still peeling off all the glue. At the end he said it was $ 18… he said it was more money for the white tips(he should have told me that at the beginning). There was also a sign posted that said«free nail design with full set» when I asked for it he wanted to charge me an extra $ 5 for each hand! The place also did not seem clean at all. I guess you get what you pay for…

The staff was so nice, and the prices were so cheap, but my manicure was such an «ouch» that I can’t give more than one star. Sorry, Lucy Pro Nails. I came in right before closing, which may have been part of the problem, if my manicurist was in a hurry to get me out of there. He ripped one of my cuticles, and it bled, and then he put alcohol on it, which hurt. And then he didn’t clean the blood, so when he painted my nails this fantastic sheer salmon color, that nail had blood in the polish. Gross. Seven dollars is an unbelievable price for a manicure, but I don’t plan to return.
