Horrible. He is not honest, reliable, or intelligent enough to analyze complex issues. Claimed he went to UC Berkeley but turns out he is a graduate of AIU– California School of Professional Psychology. The fact he lied about his training reveals the level of trust you should invest in his practice. He does not structure his meetings with clients. Most psychologists take notes but he chooses not to. He also does not do a good job with following up with past sessions or helping a patient progress. I met with him over several months and he only provides what he describes as ‘talk therapy.’ We would meet, I would vent my problems, he would then offer very little feedback. Basically he just listened. Not worth the money. It would be more beneficial to vent to a friend, read self help books, or find a more helpful professional.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Krane for over a decade now, and while the initial reason was to deal with a specific issue, I see him nowadays for maintenence and coaching. It still surprises me that he’ll offer an insight, and do it in a kind way, that I can take and work with. He’s a wonderful counselor.

So far, so good. He’s been helping me!
