If you aren’t seeing Lara for your brows then you are screwed. She made my brows look the best they have ever looked and this is truly a miracle.
I suffered from over plucking in the 90’s which left little hair behind but with a little dye job, some waxing and a lot of love I am back in business.

Next month will be the 1 year anniversary since I’ve been seeing Lara. She’s meticulous with her work. She will always have your best interest so don’t be afraid to openly communicate with her. Makeup, hair removal, skincare, she is there for you! She’s also an A. W. E. S. O. M. E. person. She’s very down-​to-​earth and always refreshing to talk to. I took my sister to her a while ago and now my sister loves her too!

Lara is a pro, a cool person, a great listener, has a great memory, and is extremely considerate of your needs. Her studio is clean, and well kept. She is very receptive to my scheduling texts, and is never annoyed by it. I am in and out in 15 minutes. Bottom line: Go to Lara and you will not be disappointed!

After having a terrible first experience of Brazilian wax from another professional, I was very reluctant to try again.
Straight up, Lara is excellent, she’s fast, clean, and efficient when it comes to just getting it over with. She’s very sociable and made me feel very comfortable and I am glad my sister took me to her. I will definitely come back when I had time and that what really makes me really happy with the five stars is that she kept the pain as minimum as possible and keeping me comfortable as possible.
100% would recommend her to anyone that needs waxing services.

Lara is so great! I’m so happy that I’ve found her. I’ve been getting bikini waxes for years and she’s by far the best! She’s so gentle and so quick all at the same time. I also get my brows shaped by her and I’m always thrilled with them. Plus she’s super cool and I always enjoy hanging out with her! I fully recommend her to everyone!

I tried skipping mascara. I tried using eyeshadow primer. But I couldn’t escape getting raccoon eyes from my eyeliner until Lara taught me a trick: holding a small round shader brush perpendicular, use it to pat eyeshadow onto your lash line as you would use eyeliner and then draw over it with eyeliner for a more dramatic look if desired. Great success — eyeliner stayed put all day!

Lara is the best! Such an amazing person, with a down to earth personality! I use to see her for brows, but than moved out of SF! I’m just here for the weekend, and decided to get a facial by her! And it was INCREDIBLE! Yes relaxing, but you can tell she knows what she’s doing when it comes to the skin! She extracted all the dirt in my pores and I feel fresher than ever!!! Love love love it! The most relaxing and effective facial I’ve gotten in SF. Lara really listens to your preferences and skin’s needs and then sticks to the products that work for you. Plus she’s super friendly and just a cool person so unusually for me, I actually enjoy spending that hour with her. Now I just need to remember to book myself in more regularly!

Lara is an eyebrow shaping pro, she shapes my eyebrows nice and efficient. I’ve tried different places for eyebrow waxing, but I like L the most.

Last week I got a brow shape and wax at LK Studio, and I am so happy I did! Lara is amazing. As soon as I got to the studio, I felt very comfortable and relaxed. It is a very calm atmosphere and I felt more like I was at a friend’s house than a brow wax appointment. Admittedly, my brows needed a lot of work, but Lara handled them expertly. She even gave me tips on how to color them in and explained other ways that could make them darker (something I had asked her about). She is extremely knowledgeable and, everything considered, could get away with charging a lot more. I will absolutely be going back and cannot recommend Lara highly enough!

This review is for brow waxing and Brazilian wax. Everyone knows Lara does amazing, perfect eyebrows. Her vagina waxes are the best though! Her wax is amazing and paired with her skills/​confidence I always leave happy. Best wax ever. It’s fast and pretty close to painless. She is quick to get back to me when I need an appointment. I am more than happy to support this local business.

Yesterday I got THE BEST brazilian wax of my life from Lara. I got a lifebooker coupon which admittedly are usually terrible but this one was fantastic. Lara is warm and welcoming. Her studio is clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated.
Now for the most important part. The wax involved minimal pain thanks to Lara expertly applying pressure and distracting me. She waxed all the extra stuff that most people skip, those pesky leg hairs etc. She paid so much attention to detail, tweezing the few extra hairs that were left at the end.
Even without the lifebooker discount, her price is reasonable and I will definitely be going back!

This is the absolute best place for waxing. Great one-​on-​one atmosphere, not like other big salons and spas with people running around everywhere. This is more relaxing.
I love having the ability to book an appointment online and she even accommodated my earlier-​than-​usual appointment because of a computer glitch.
Wax was quick with relaxing music and great conversation. I will definitely be coming back here and recommending this place to all my friends and family!

LARA IS PHENOMENAL! She has been doing my eye brows for a couple of months now and I will not go to anyone else. I’m 24 and I have been getting my eyebrows waxed since I was 15 and none of the waxers I have encountered come close to Lara. Lara is a great listener/​advice giver. She has a great connection with all of her clients which shows that she cares about her clients and their needs. My eye brows always turn out how I want them to, if not, better! The wax she uses is great too. I used to get super red or little bumps around my eyebrows after a wax but ever since I started going to Lara, my skin has always been fine after. She has been grooming my brows to perfection for about 5 years and I can’t imagine my brow-​life without her! Lara is incredible at shaping my brows and keeping them looking very clean and natural with lovely arches. AND if necessary (like when I go on vacation out of the country or travel a ton for business) I could actually last up to a month in between appointments without having super fugly brows. Lara is great! Found this gem from a friend who used to live in SF who went to Benefit where Lara used to work for many years. Now that I live here it was SO hard trying to find someone until I connected with her. I found my lady. Will not go anywhere else!
Pros: she’ll listen to what you want and/​or trying to do… in my case I was growing out my pencil thin eyebrows. She turned my caterpillars to a natural clean-​free arch. I was amazed. Must go!

Lara is hands down one of the best aestheticians I have ever been to. She has loads of experience and it shows in her work. She is down to earth, funny and professional. She makes skin care and brows painless! Her pricing is affordable and she can transform your brows! I can’t say enough about LK Skin Studio! Must try!

When I first met with Lara to have my brows done, she was working for Benefit and she came highly recommended. It was always super hard to book an appointment with her because of how popular she was. It was ages ago that she started doing my brows, and to this day I only trust her with my brows.
LK Skin Studio is her creation, and it fits her style so much more. As far as atmosphere goes, this place has good vibes. It’s very simple, bright, and welcoming much like her. She is absolutely real, with great taste in music and humor. There’s never a dull conversation with her. She’s very warm and a great listener.
Now that she finally has her own place and has extended her services beyond waxing I know I’ll be seeing more of her. I haven’t tried her facials, but I know she’s good at what she does. My mom’s birthday is around the corner and I can’t wait to send her to Lara to get a facial.
