my 2^nd time here & it’s safe to say I’ve found my new nail home.
this time around I got the ice dancer mani/​pedi & let me tell YOU! baaabaaaay that ish was heavenly, yas gawd!
i had the pleasure of being serviced by Miss Ivy & she got me ALL the way together… I wish she was still massaging my calves & arms .
i really have fallen in love with this salon. staff (whose names I will learn soon!) are super friendly & welcoming… damn near felt like family. and about the music… hunty they played ALLLLLLLL the jams. it was so refreshing to go into a nail salon where the tv wasn’t on!
I’ll most certainly be back in two weeks… and y’all better come too!

Every since Ann & Susan quit or got fired, that place has went down hill. The poor son is over worked… the husband .has a bad attitude.

I went here around 1 pm on MLK day with my friend. The first thing that happened as we stepped in the nail shop is that they asked my friend and I what we want done. We told them that we had an appointment at 1 pm and that my friend was getting a full set gel mani and pedi and I got a gel mani.
My friend got seated right away for her pedi, so I decided to sit next to her in the empty chair and they handed us the colors for gel polish as well as regular polish. While I was waiting, I decided to look at the folders they handed my friend and decided what color I wanted. I waited about 20 minutes for them to finally attend to me and the guy that works there (Minh) finally called me other to sit at his chair.
When I got to his chair, we talked a little while he attended to me. He is really friendly, nice, and gentle while he did my nails.
In the end, I really liked how my nails came out and I plan to go back there again! Only down side is that there is only street parking in front of the nail shop for ONLY 2 HOURS! –_​– it was a good thing I parked on the street by the houses and it wasn’t hourly parking.
Overall, I definitely recommend this place. Even though we were there for 3 hours, their customer service has been the best in any nail shop I’ve been to.
I rated this place a 4 because of the parking situation and that we had an appointment at 1pm and we didn’t leave until 4 pm.

Walked in on an early Saturday morning for a regular manicure.
Service: water was cold for the soak. Tools appeared to be dirty. I requested a new disposable file and to sanitize the cuticle clippers. As a result I was cut 2 times and they wouldn’t clean the wounds until I pointed it out. I witnessed them thinning the polish while I was waiting for them to dry and 6 hours later I have chipped polish. And for the cherry on top, my manicurist picked a wedgie while walking away from her station. Her way to tell me to fuck off I’m sure. People beware.

First time going to Lido and I may say, I’m in love with Kim and Susan skills. Susan does fantastic pedicures, she doesn’t slack, she gets off all the dead skin and for what I paid for the pedicure I got alot more than what other places care to give!
Kim hooked my nails up and was fast and accurate, she’s a great mutlitasker. I didn’t mind her stopping to do some eyebrows for Ladies who wanted just that. But also too, I was not in a rush!
Everyone wants fast service but then complains about the quality. Don’t come here if your rushing. Take time to enjoy but also come early!

I always come here for my pedicure with Anne all the time. I started to fancy Susan’s work too ;) my mother and I come here religiously to get our pedicures, manicures, full sets basically all our nail care needs. I recommend them.

Kim, Susan and Kim’s unprofessional daughter are very disrespectful, she allowed her fowl mouth disrespectful RACIST daughter to jump up in my face (and I checked her little disrespectful self too) after I told Kim I would come back later to discuss my medical bill I r/​c after her employee SUSAN cut my big toe and applied acrylic to it and it got infected while I was on my vacation in D-​Town. Last month I went in after I was approved to return to getting my pedicures and after Susan did my pedicure I told Kim I was not going to pay for my pedicure because I had endure a very pricey bill the month before when Susan cut me and caused my tow to swell up, puss and bloody and had to remove the big toe completely. I felt that I should be compensated for that! Well, my friend had already been to the nail shop twice and informed Susan and Kim what had happen while I was still in Detroit, MI. she even showed them a picture of my toe. Susan told my friend: When Minah come in I will take care of her” when I came in 30 days later, after I was healed. I reframed from conversation with Kim and Susan because I had enough respect for their business not to expose them and I just knew I was going to be compensated for what happened. Well, back to after Susan was done and my nails were too I told Kim that I was not going to pay for my feet. And the nerve of Susan to catch an attitude and I had to keep explaining to Kim why I was not going to pay her. Susan became very rude towards me and I told her to shut it down because I am the one who should be mad not her, and she better not say another disrespectful word to me. Kim who WE ALL THOUGHT WAS THE OWNER! TOLD ME GET THE MEDICAL LETTER FROM YOUR DOCTOR AND I WILL REINBURSE YOU. This past Saturday 10/​12/​2013 I r/​c the letter form the legal Dept. with my statement and what the fees were. As, soon as I came into the shop I greeting everyone Susan was not there, I went to eye brow room and told Kim hello… she instantly said:“MInah we very busy you wanna come back later… I have appointments only today! This was the first time Kim has ever said that to me IN 17 YEARS… I said to myself she being funny she don’t wanna serve ME!!! So, I told her I brought my school books I have Midterm I will read and study and wait. I sat with an associate mutual friend with the same lady who is the 1 who told them about my toe being infected and also, provided them with the picture. I WAITED FOR 1 WHOLE HOUR NOT ONCE DID KIM THE SO, CALLED OWNER SAY 1 WORD TO ME. Another African American lady jumped out of her spa chair! YELLING I AM LEAVING YOU AINT GONNA TREAT ME LIKE I DONT EXSIST AND I HAVE BEEN SITTING IN THIS SPA CHAIR FOR HOURS AND THE WATER IS COLD AND NOT ONCE HAS ANYONE SAID A WORD TO ME OR CHECKED MY WATER. AND MY FEET ARE COLD, this is a DISGRACE to the public that we are disregarded and treated in this fashion and WE ARE LOYAL CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE BEEN PAYING OUR HARD EARNED DOLLARS EVERY 2 WEEKS WITH THESE ruthless money hungry merchants, who careless about us for-​real unless we dropping some money in their hands. Well, her daughter jumped up in my face never once did she ID he self and I asked her over and over again «who are you’?she was going off yelling at me and said «you didn’t pay last time I know who you are we will reimburse you but you need to bring the medical papers and a lot of hot air I was blocking out because I had no clue who she was and she did not matter either» I thought she was a customer because she was sitting right by the door where mother Kim was doing another lady’s eye lashes. NOT ONCE DID KIM BRING HER MESSY UNPROFESSIONAL SELF OUT OF THE EYE BROW-​EYE LASH ROOM. I checked her little disrespectful daughter who then told me «I AM THE OWNER AND THAT’S MY MOM (KIM)“I SAID WHAT? I HAVE NEVER SEEN YOU IN MY LIFE… I DON’T CARE WHO YOU ARE BUT, YAWL CUT ME AND I HAVE THE PAPER WORK TO PROVE IT AND YOUR MOTHER told me that once I got it to bring it to her and she would take of it. Her disrespectful daughter still was yelling and talking crazy I threw the paper on the table and said read it yourself, I don’t have to LIE I have been coming here for 17 years you was a little girl running around this shop playing with my daughter you better stand down and not jump up in my face again. She acted like she was going to become aggressive and grabbed the phone and called the POLICE, she told me I WANT YOU OUT OF MY BUSINESS AND I AM CALLING THE POLICE!!! I told her to call them I will walk out with them after I TELL EVERYONE IN THIS SHOP MY STORY AND THE POLICE. The police showed up I gave the officer my letter and he read over it and I explained to them the situation other ladies in the shop spoke in my favor and said: KIM’S DAUGHTER WAS WRONG AND UNPROFESSIONAL IF SHE WAS THE OWNER AND SHE DISREPECTED ME AND YELLED AT ME FIRST»…KIM’S DAUGHTER FINALLY APOLOGIZED IN FRONT OF THE POLICE FOR HER RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL

I love this place! my usual nail shop! The workers here are very nice and helpful very cheap and i loveeee it !

First of all I am extremely picky when it comes to my nails, what’s so amazing is I found this shop by accident, one person told me to go to Lily’s Nails, but a lady at the TGIF Beauty Supply told me Lido is good, so upon her recommendation, I decided to try them and I am so happy. the price was right $ 17 for a full set, the man,(Tan) who first had to remove my old set, was AMAZINGLY gentle and did not hurt me, THIS IS IMPORTANT, then he did my nails and they came out so pretty. I promised him, if he did me right, I would spread the word and I already got compliments on my nails so I recommended him and his shop to two of my girlfriends. the best part, is I saved money I would have spent taking BART to T&T Nails on e.14^th in East Oakland (they have been my favorite for so many years) but I think I now have a new favorite!

I think they are great group of lady’s. I don’t do the fancy nail stuff everyone else does. I’m a regular mani/​pedi kinda person. The price is right. $ 15 for pedi or $ 20 for mani and pedi. This is grose but if you have an ingrown toenail they are the ones to see. Better than going to the doctor to have them pull off the whole nail. Ewww… Gagging.
*** Update. called for an appt at 6:30 pm. It clearly says they are open till 7pm. But the guy refused my appt. Blocked the door so I couldn’t go in. Not going there anymore.
*** Update 6÷2÷10… I gave in and went back to Kim. She is awesome. I even started getting my eyebrows waxed. But the only thing is, I have to wait forever for Kim.

I will never ever go back. Shaking my head umm mmm mmm.

Argh, whywhywhy was I too lazy to drive down to my usual nail place in daly city?!
Utter crap job, my nails started chipping the next day. I waited two days before a work event and now I have to go on the day of. So not worth the wasted time.
