Leonard Cianciolo, DC

Dr. C is great. His office is well run and he has years of experience. I have a bad back and had a really bad episode at the end of 2015. I was SCARED to go to a chiropractor but my friend raved about Dr. C so I went. Dr. C had me feeling better and increased my mobility much quicker than I expected. He is compassionate, friendly and funny. His office manager Robin helped me get the dreaded insurance issues solved and was very helpful and caring.

This guy is the best. My first visit ever to a chiropractor and it was a A+++ deal. Thanks Lenny.

I’ve been to Dr C twice for accident related treatments in the last several years. He has taken good care of me and I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else in the future. His receptionist Robin always greets me with a big smile which always brightened up my day.

I urge anyone in the San Francisco area in need of chiropractic care to visit the office of Dr. Cianciolo. Visits to doctors are seldom stress — free, but this is the exception. From the welcoming warmth of the reception to the consummate pain relief accorded by Dr. Cianciolo’s adjustments this experience is remarkable. I speak as one who has been in need of occasional chiropractic relief for 30 years .at last I need look no further !

Dr. Cianciolo is a super, skilled, professional and excellent practiioner. I was suffering badly from arthritis in my knee to the extent I could barely walk. Dr. Cianciolo made room in his busy schedule to see me, and worked wonders. I know chiropractic cannot cure arthritis but it sure can help soothe the pain.
His whole office is friendly and professional and very caring. If you have some muscle pain problems this is the place to go. If you feel out of joint, this is the place to get back in joint!

I’m a busy hair stylist. 9+ hours/​day 5/​days a week standing on hard floors, arms up, awkward body positions and lots of blowdrying can really cause some damage. I’m constantly managing some amount of neck shoulder or lower back tension.
20 minutes with Leonard Cionciolo is like a reset button. It takes away pain and releases tension. Sometime even getting rid of headaches.
No matter whether it’s been a week, a few months or over a year both robyn and Dr. Cionciolo always greet me with a smile and give me the best care.

Leonard Cianciolo did the Graston technique on my fingers, which made a huge difference in my healing. He is a nice guy who really knows his stuff. It only took about 10 minus of work, which at first made me dubious. but I did notice positive results in the days to come. The cost normally is $ 65, but if you have Kaiser, they give you a discount and charge you only $ 45. A good deal!

I’ll keep this short – Dr. C is awesome. He’s got a great attitude and really thinks about what’s an appropriate treatment based on your symptoms.

I’ve been going to see Dr. C for years. I am so appreciative of the bones and joint relief he gives me, especially now that I am pregnant. I should have came earlier, had I known that he treats pregnant women.

Very helpful — went in for pregnancy-​related sciatic pain, after two visits — feel much better. I will be eternally grateful that his office fit me in straight from my OB appt. Was close to tears from pain. Dr. C. is fantastic!

The other reviews are exactly spot on. Great attitude, very nice, wonderful and flexible office administrator. Very results-​oriented, no airy fairy cosmic stuff. He gets right to the problem and wants to solve it. He really does want you in, fixed, and out. So far so good. I have seen chiropractors through the past twenty years on an off. I recommend it for specific cases. If you think chiropractic can help you, starting with Dr. C is a great way to go.

I was having one-​second hits of light headed several times a day for nearly a month. After getting good results from a blood test, checking blood pressure multiple times a day that was normal, getting a heart ultrasound and EKG that did not indicate any issues, it occurred to me that the light-​headed sensation might be a stress-​related muscular issue.
I’m not one to run to a doctor of any sort, but after nothing else was getting results, I called Dr. C’s office. Robin, his every efficient and friendly office manager (and wife), listened to my story, then put me on the phone with Dr. C. He did not know if his chiropractic services would work, but we decided it was worth giving it a try.
Dr. C. took me immediately — and I mean, I drove over there as soon as I hung up. One treatment of heat, electrical stimulation and a few adjustments lying down, then sitting up had me pleasantly snap-​crackle-​popping. We agreed that 3 or 4 tries would be enough to know if this is working.
The adjustment seemed to also relieve my sore computer-​hand/​arm/​thumb. I’ve been four times now, and although there is still occasional light headedness, for the most part, I have not had the big hits for days at a time now.
I don’t have any comparative experiences so I don’t know how unique Dr. C is, but I must say that I’ve certainly changed my tune about the value of a chiropractic visit. I’ve seen everyone from children to seniors in the office, all seemingly happy to be in his hands. ‘Dr. C’ is clearly experienced, trusted and, at least in my book, deserves five stars. Check ‘em out…

OK, after I put my back out carrying three generations of a family from a burning building (well, slipping in the bath but that doesn’t sound good) I called up the insurance people and they put me in touch with this place.
I was highly suspicious, chiropractors aren’t proper doctors I’d been told and anyone who spins me bullshit about owning the emotion of my pain etc gets short shrift. However, any port in a storm.
Immediate gold star for speed of response. I was in considerable pain and the office got me an emergency appointment in less than an hour — now that’s good service. Dr C (everyone, even his wife, calls him that) was very helpful and did a course of electrical stimulation and heat therapy coupled with some powerful back crunches.
After the first visit I felt some relief immediately but still couldn’t bend over or carry bags. However, three treatments in, my back is now pretty much sorted. Quite frankly I’m amazed — I’d almost forgotten what it was like to walk without pain.
I’ve heard some chiros like to keep you coming for a seemingly endless series of consultations but Dr C seemed to take repeat visits as a personal failure of his ability to cure, which was a very reassuring attitude.
The office is small, without being pokey, and very friendly. After the first visit both Dr C and his wife (who runs the office) were on first name terms and remembered all the details about my case. As a first experience of American healthcare I am very favourably impressed.

Dr. Cianciolo is the best. I met him 24 years ago when I was pregnant and had sciatica so bad that I could not walk. He was fantastic and continues to be professional, warm and so honest. He has a wonderful way about him, very calming and a very soft touch. Dr. Cianciolo treats my entire family, even that baby I was carrying years ago who now is a young woman ahtlete enjoying the benefits of chiropractic. He has never asked me to come in more than I need to and believe me that is not the case with others. I hear horror stories from friends and just cannot understand why they do not take my advice and see Dr. Cianciolo.
I have not tried nor plan to try another. PLEASE Dr. Cianciolo, stay in the Bay Area for all of your loyal patients!

Dr. «C» is a ROCKSTAR! most chiropractors are scam-​ee wanting to see you 3x a week for a couple of months… but NOT Dr. Cianciolo! he wants to fix you and not see you again. i have gone in to see him in such pain that even breathing was difficult. one or two visits and im back to 100%! i swear he is a miracle worker. i recommend him to anyone who is looking for a fix and not a long term relationship with some wacko chiro–
