We are a local family owned photo studio since 1978 and provide several other services for professional licensing and passport application procedures.

We have extensive experience in General Photography-​Head Shots and Business Portraits-​Digital Photo Restorations-​Slide/​Print to Digital and special small format printing services (up to 13×19). We have the latest modern equipment for all Passport Photo sizes, including all foreign passport requirements, guaranteed.

We have over 6 years experience as Department of Justice California Live Scan Providers and we specialize in Digital and Ink Fingerprinting for all purposes.

We also have 20 years of Notary Public experience for your important signings.

In addition we provide Laminatiing Services.

History

Established in 1978.

We started with Immigration and Passport Photos and over the years added the other services.

We count many well-​established Financial Services, Real Estate Companies and Banks as our regular customers and also provide our walk-​in customers with dependable and accurate services.

Went in in the morning on a weekday for taking fingerprint for getting birth certificate at a consulate office nearby. Waited only for 5 mins to get served. Person at the counter was initially cheerful but after some point he’d gone quiet, less responsive, which makes me worried if I did anything wrong. Anyway that made me a bit uncomfortable so I regrettably 3-​star.

I had to get something notarized and 2 UPS stores failed me yesterday. Why advertise as having the service on the website and even the phone, but in reality it is limited depending on who is staffing the location. I therefore had to find another place that was hopefully reliable and advertised properly. I stopped by before noon and there was no wait. The gentleman there was polite and took care of me right away. Off I went. Would definitely recommend Leetone Photo Center for notarizing!

Good service, and great quality photo, but I was just charged $ 27 to have a passport photo emailed to me! I’m very pleased with how the photo turned out (and the efficiency with which they processed my photo/​transaction), but $ 27 is too pricey.

I went to leetone as they boasted that they could do Australian passport photos. Yes they did the correct sizing for Australian passports but it was framed completely incorrectly. If you are heading to LA for a passport the embassy will suggest going to the FedEx office ship center 1925 century park East (across from embassy). They take it to the correct specifications.

I have used them for my corporate job. Competitive rates for bio pics but awful customer service. Rude and lack of attention to detail and doesn’t answer emails when I make requests for them to fix their own billing errors. I won’t use them again.

We needed a quick passport picture and money order for my then-​12 month old daughter and Leetone was the closest place to the Indonesian consulate that could do it.
They charged a lot more than other places for the money order.

After having a terrible experience with photo studio on Polk street, I found this place. I needed a photo for German consulate. The gentleman was helpful, nice and fast. I got good photos for 16 $, and I got my visa.

White guy didn’t help me. Fingerprint livescan wasn’t done properly when typing the address of the social depArtment. He said he would give it a second try if I’d bring a new sheet. But even then he still charged me.

I’ve come here twice and both times I have received horrible customer service from the same guy. There was a misunderstanding on my part but I agreed I wanted the service still yet the employee felt inclined to remind me of the price. I let him know I heard him the first time and this would be fine. I advise fellow Unilocalers to find another place to take care of your passport photo and background check needs. Also be aware that there is an additional fee if you use credit/​debit card to pay.

It’s always suspicious when a place receives a mixture of 5 and 1 star reviews,
and I wish I’d read Unilocal before I went there. They didn’t listen to my request, gave me an unusable photo, and were incredibly rude. Extremely mean — I can’t remember the last time I’ve had service so horrible. A thoroughly unpleasant experience, and in a town where there are hundreds of photo services to chose from, why run the risk that you might get 5 star service, might get 1 star service. Mine was certainly the latter.

Awesome. Totally knowledgable on all visa/​passport photo requirements. Bit more expensive than Walgreens but you are getting digital (emailable) and printed formats. Would recommend.

This is the place to go for Passport photos! The service is quick, professional, and they REALLY know what they are doing. I needed specs for an Irish Passport and they had them on hand with photo samples to compare my photos too. If you need any passport photos, especially international ones, you can’t beat this place. They are slightly more than CVS or Walgreens, but you have the confidence of knowing your photo won’t be rejected because they are pros.

Came to Leetone when I needed a picture for my CPA application. They’re definitely quick and efficient. Knew exactly what I needed (photos, forms, fingerprinting, etc). They take your picture quickly and get everything processed for you. Only thing I will say is it is definitely not cheap. Be prepared to fork over some green, but the process goes quickly.
Also, when I went, there was a Unilocal check-​in discount, so make sure to check this.

Ask specifically for Canadian passport photos. And more SPECIFICALLY ASKED THEM IF THEY KNew HOW TO TAKE PICTURES. Got rejection letter 3 weeks later, putting me in desperate situation because the size of the picture frame was not measured correctly and the stamp of studio was missing. Went to a different place and got the right pictures. Asked them for a full refund. Instead was offered a store credit.
Needless to say I’m not coming back.
