He is the author of the soon to be released book What Every Woman in California Needs to Know About Divorce.

His office will be offering complimentary seminars on divorce, custody and support issues every month for women starting this Spring.

He is a member of the State Bar of California’s Family Law Section. Additionally, Paul is a graduate of Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, WY.

I went in to see Paul for a consultation on a family matter regarding custody and spousal support and left feeling like the situation was manageable. He provided me with basic guidelines on how to handle, and steps along the way in case the situation didn’t go «textbook» since they never do. I believe that one should always know, trust and build a relationship with a good mechanic, attorney, accountant and therapist. I wish I would have found Paul Nathan sooner when seeking advice on a family court matter. I went to Paul to discuss how to handle a situation regarding custody and left knowing I received excellent and realistic advice. He provided a methodical approach to how he would handle an issue with detailed steps on how to complete. I left knowing I found my go-​to attorney if I should ever need representation in the future. I met with Mr. Nathan on short notice to get a second opinion on a family court matter. I came to him overstressed with very little sleep in many weeks and he put me at ease about how he felt I should proceed but mostly about how I needed to present myself. It was the first time in awhile I felt a sense of calm. I know that if I wanted or needed to change counsel he would be my first choice. If you find yourself in a high conflict family court situation I recommend you give Mr Nathan a call even if it’s just to get you going in the right direction but most certainly to have someone on your side who understands what your expectations are and how to navigate the system to hopefully the resolution that works in the best interest of what family court is suppose to be about.

Paul Nathan impressed me from the moment I met him with his professionalism and approachability. I was nervous about using a lawyer but he totally put me at ease and made me feel comfortable talking about my situation. I had been caught off guard with a child custody issue over the holidays. Even during this hectic time of year Paul made sure that if I needed some extra hand-​holding or clarification, he was there to explain everything thoroughly. He was totally present and attentive throughout every conversation we had during this very nerve-​wracking time for me.
