I called Mary Catherine as part of an attorney search for a tenant lawyer — our rent-​controlled building had been bought by a notorious speculator. I only wanted to find out what she could do for us, but she just gave me a bunch of good advice for free (including that we didn’t need a lawyer yet). I would definitely work with her as soon as we do need to hire someone and recommend her to anyone.
