As both a chiropractor and an acupuncturist, Dr. Larry Becker provides comprehensive alternative health care. He has a vast knowledge of healing in many different areas. He offers help with exercise, diet, and stress reduction as well as gentle chiropractic adjustments. Therapies offered by Dr. Becker are many and varied and are tailored to your specific situation. Patients have found relief through his treatments for many ailments: shoulder, arm, hand, wrist, carpal tunnel, leg, hip, knee, ankle, foot, and back (spinal) pain – as well as headaches, insomnia, and anxiety. He also provides acupuncture, acupuncture stimulation (no needles), electro-​acupuncture, nutritional/​supplement advice, Chinese herbal therapies, Ayurvedic medical treatments, exercise and strength training, Cox-​table axial and flexion traction, non-​force adjustments. .. and much more. His practice is unique in that he integrates several different alternative health fields together for synergistic healing effects.

Business Owner

Larry Becker has been interested in alternative healing methods since he was a teenager growing up in Philadelphia. He has studied Ayurvedic, chiropractic, and Chinese herbal and acupuncture healing modalities for all of his adult life. He is a healer who uses all this vast knowledge he has in many different areas, to identify and treat whatever problems his patients may have – uniquely integrating several different alternative health fields together for synergistic healing effects. Specializing in Pain Relief modalities, he has helped people with both acute and chronic pain issues recover. He is sensitive and tuned into creating regimens that his patients can actually follow, thus enhancing their bodies’ own healing capacity. In his spare time, he likes to hike, especially along Ocean Beach and throughout Golden Gate Park. He is married, with three grown children and three grandchildren.
