Love the body cream!!! used for first time last time and I am in love, bought it awhile back and put it away till I ran out of my others. Nice surprise to open it and realize it really is worth the money!

Wandered in here while strolling down the street. Had just finished lunch, and this cute place had been calling my name. Gorgeous store. Pricey items, but boy do they all do wonders for skin! Everything smelled heavenly, and the girl helping me offered me a free demonstration of a hand scrub, complete with some body butter. My hands were so soft afterward.
Check them out, they have some nice lotions and other body products.

My friend and I came here a few months ago while wasting time in San Francisco before the Rise Against concert at the Masonic. I remembered — and dearly missed — the Laline store that used in be in Roseville, so I figured we may as well check this one out.
It only made me miss the Roseville store that much more. The products are just as wonderful as I remember, and the staff here was kind and welcoming. It’s important to me that staff make me feel valued without being overbearing, and the staff here walked that boundary perfectly. We both left softer and good-​smelling-​er, and really REALLY wishing that we could’ve bought some things (unfortunately, if we had, a mosh pit would not have been kind to them).
If/​when I end up in San Francisco again, a no-​holds-​barred shopping spree is in order here. I need Ocean-​scented EVERYTHING in my life.

I tried this brand at a retail store in Caribbean and bought couple body soufflés. Amazing scents and wonderful soft feeling skin. Staff was really helpful and nice to talk to. Quality product.

I absolutely love their products. Stumbled upon it while on tour, and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since!

I love this place, the staff are so fun and informative. This place is a must go because they have everything you need! I always hit this place up for gifts for any occasion, because it has men’s skin needs, stuff just for babies, and little girls and great nail polish!
You sort of get addicted to their smells, I had to buy a few body sprays that are so unique, I love the coconut spray and their «musk» spray is so sexy! The «hot mama» strawberry honey face masque is soooooo nice.
…and you have to try their scrubs they have out there, every time I leave the store I leave feeling SO PRETTY, if you scrubbed your hands in the store before, or had a facial there, then you know what I’m talking about!!!
If you walk to the back of the store they have a full service salon with KERASTASE products and hair consultants that seem to really care about a tailored to you hair specific hair needs.
That’s why I gave this place 5 stars it’s a no brainier.

From NY and visited the Pier 39 location. Was drawn to the cute décor and all the samples, as I love lotions. Persuaded my mom & daughter to go in with me. My daughter tried the scrub and told me & my mom to try it and we were all hooked! The salesgirl, Leila was so sweet and helpful. Even though it’s a little pricey, we ended up buying several products. A couple weeks later, I ordered more products online and used the great 30% holiday discount. It’s a big pricier than other stores, but the quality if superior!

Cute little boutique in the Marina! Randomly stopped by here over a year ago when I was getting lunch in the area and decided to try on some of their products. Tried on their ocean scented body lotion (now called body milk after they rebranded) and have been forever in love with it since. Bought two bottles today because they unfortunately do not have any bigger sizes for their products. It’s a bit pricey though, $ 24 for a tiny bottle, but I don’t really mind since I like it so much! Plus, the Unilocal check-​in gave me $ 10 off :) Hope they never discontinue this scent ever and have bigger sizes in the future!

I was super excited to stumble across this store when we were visiting San Fran a few days ago. I couldn’t wait to get back to the hotel and use it. Worked AMAZING. The smell and product is great.
However. We flew back to Hawaii a few days later. I put it in a zip lock bag just in case the oil decided to leak or it opened durning travel.
Just sat down to one. My bags to unpack. So thankful I put it in a bag!!! All the oil leaked out but that isn’t 100% why I gave 1 star. I gave 1 star because of their packaging. Ok. I can put the oil back into the container. Fine. IF I COULD OPEN IT. Their container sealed itself shut. I can’t even get into it! I have been trying for 30 mins to open it. I tried to pop it like a jar. I have tried to pry it open with a bottle opener. I have banged it on the counter trying to loosen the seal. I even took a knife to the top to relieve pressure and hopefully open it. Nothing. No luck.
I spent a lot of money there. This stuff isn’t cheap. I am saddened by this.
Travelers, mainly fliers, beware. Don’t open it until you get home! Or you will never be able to open it.

Dry Feet

I never knew I needed a $ 12 hand cream.
But that slightly convincing sales talk and James’ friendly demeanor, sealed the deal for me.
Laline was also having a sale, buy one, get one half off. And the Pele Monoi hand cream reminded me so much of pikake flowers from my recent trip to Hawaii, that I absolutely HAD to get it.
Organized displays, clean store and paraben free products. MUCH better than Bed, Bath & Body Works.

My sister has been a long time fan of Laline and has given both my mother and I gifts from the store before, but I’d never actually been in here even though I have used and liked their products.
Let me just say they now have a hardcore fan of this location (but since Unilocal let me know there are other locations around Fisherman’s Wharf, I will try those as well).
Saturday I was out with my beau for the day and after dinner we wandered around Chestnut street and I knew I wanted to check out Laline to check out their current Snow White product line.
The store is smallish but long and while it is mostly white, it isn’t jarring to the eye or to the nose, which is kind of a big deal when you go into a shop that sells scented bath and body products. You know how you go into Bed Bath and Beyond and it reeks of some sort of scented room spray/​obnoxiously named candle/​potpourri? Well, not here. Does that make the store in and of itself worthy of 5 stars? No, but it sure helps.
The man who helped me out was nice and helpful as a salesperson, but not overly pushy or aggressive. He let me know about their sales and promotions and I sampled some body lotion which I really enjoyed. Their products are all nicely scented without being too sweet or sticky like a lot of mass marketed body product lines nowadays. If you’re a cucumber melon type of person, this isn’t the spot for you. The scents here are a bit more gentle and elegant, even though some do have floral elements to them.
There is a lot to look at in a small store – they carry candles, body lotions and wash, soaps, bath bombs, robes, bubble bath and beauty accessories like makeup bags, makeup brushes and nail accoutrements.
I ended up purchasing some clearance makeup brushes and a Snow White hand mirror. In the end I also purchased a Laline card which has some amazing perks to it – for $ 10 you get the card which entitles you to points for your purchases which give you money to use in store, a $ 20 gift card (SERIOUSLY) and 30% off a purchase on your birthday. I spent about $ 30 and I got a $ 20 gift card as well as enough points from the combined purchase of my goods and my boyfriend’s for another $ 5 and the salesman gave me two makeup brushes on the house.
What a score!
The prices here are really good, pre-​sale, the customer service was great and now I have a membership that basically paid for itself. How can I complain? Can’t wait to come back! Thank you Laline.

Oh, Laline! On a girl’s day we walked by on our Chestnut Street stroll and decided to come in for a mini hand scrub. My friend told me the products were amazing, so obviously I needed to see for myself.
Similar to stores like Molton Brown or Bath and Body Works, Laline has sinks with products to test out. There was a girl working who recommended scents for us (I tried the coconut verbena, their best seller) and gave us samples to try. I loved the body soufflé cream and the exfoliating scrub– of course, the lotions were also to die for.
My hands felt silky smooth for the rest of the day, and of course smelled amazing too. Unfortunately I was catching a flight later that day and couldn’t add even MORE weight to my luggage, but next time I’m on Chestnut I’ll return… and until then, shop online! You can check out the selection here:
Also, there’s a salon in the back! They call it the «head spa,» which is super cute.

Love love love this store! Was at the apple store and looked across the street and saw the cutest body shop I’ve seen in a long time. Had to go in…
Great products! They have a scrub that will leave you hands feeling baby soft, body lotions, body mists, nail polish… everything I need to smell and feel pampered.
They even have a hypoallergenic baby line that smells wonderful — and the most adorable packaging!
Needless to say I left with a bag full of goodies and will definitely be returning!
The whole experience was very comfortable in that the girl waiting on us was knowledgeable but not pushy at all — some body shops just try to sell you anything, but she really paid attention to what I was saying I liked.

Honestly the service was very nice, but I’m so traumatized and I cried for an hour and I can’t even eat. I know it’s only hair and it’ll grow out, but the point of a 55 $+ haircut is to get the style that you’re looking for. I won’t return again.

Love the natural vanilla lotion and scrub. Their products are amazing and makes your skin feel like silk and the smell is just amazing and long lasting. They have a wide variety of products for women and men. I have gotten many gifts from here and they are reasonably priced and have great scents.
They also have a blow dry bar in the back that has the best hair products and the whole experience is sooo relaxing. You lay down as they wash your hair which is just amazing and the blow dry is great.

My friend nailed it when she gave me a gift card to Laline for my birthday. I went in with my niece in tow and they let her wash her hands while I sampled the scrub and soufflé. I fell in love instantly, especially since I’ve been going crazy searching for a salt scrub. The girl who helped us was so nice and even put together a kit that was only 10 bucks outside of my gift card budget. It’s only been a couple weeks and I can see the bottom of both containers– I’ll be heading back soon to buy the larger sizes and to get gifts for friends!

I am Jennifer and I am a bath and product junkie.
There, I’ve said it (my credit card just rolled its eyes and said, «Duh!»)
Yet, even *I* was impressed by Laline’s decadent selection of lovely soaps, bubble bath, «Body Soufflé» creams, exfoliating scrubs, aromatherapy scent diffusers and more.
it was almost too much; I didn’t know where to start! My heart started to pound, like seeing a tall, handsome stranger across a room.
Before I could feel overwhelmed by Laline’s vast selection, the lovely Laura stepped in and gave me a quick synopsis, letting me sample and showing me the various fragrance and product lines.
Laura was informative and friendly, not pushy (therefore I became putty in her hands).
I first selected a couple of things — their Double Bubble bubble bath and a heavenly scent diffuser — but after one little demonstration of their «Body Soufflé» body cream — any self-​control I had went right out the window.
While I haven’t tried the Double Bubble Bath yet (good for the shower, too), I can tell you the Body Soufflé is not only highly moisturizing, it makes your skin feel and look like satin, absorbing quickly with no sticky finish (as is sometimes the case with rich moisturizers).
And after Laura’s demonstration, I bought soaps, scent diffusers (the «Ocean» and «Pomelo» fragrances are heavenly), foaming hand soap (a total splurge, you really don’t «need» it, but it’s so creamy and dreamy you won’t be able to help yourself.) Laline’s holiday sale made it all-​too-​easy to say «Yes!»
And if you spend $ 65 or more, Laline will do free shipping in the U.S. so I shared the love and bought some products for my sister. I just felt too decadent not to share.
Know as soon as they do the demonstration over the sink with their foaming soap, exfoliating scrub and Body Soufflé (you’ll feel a little silly but do it anyway) you will be a convert. Yes, Laline will have succeeded in «up-​selling» you but you will not care. Not one bit.
(It’s kind of like having that second martini. Do you «need» it? No. but it’s just too delicious, especially if you splurge only occasionally.)
Laline’s price point is on the high end of moderate. It’s definitely a splurge but life is short.

Can I just say that my service sucked at the other store but I came here and it was a total 360 experience. They were actually stunned at the behavior of the other folks. It’s sad to say, because I love fisher man’s wharf, but I will make it point to come here. I’m not saying everyone at the wharf location was horrible but they know who they are. Kudos to this store for making the situation much more inviting.
If I could compare it in movies terms this location would be the 3D IMAX experience and the other location would be your early bird six dollar movie. =)

I am rooting for Laline because now is a tough time to open a business… especially a high-​end bath/​body business… but they are trying really hard to attract customers. Numerous times, I have walked by the store and been offered a coupon or free product. So finally, after discovering the Pure Beauty across the street has nothing I want anymore, I popped into Laline.
The saleswomen could not have been happier to see me — I was the only one in the store. When I told one of them I was looking for body wash, she took me to the back and had me smell a bunch of scrubs, then try one, etc. To be honest, the process was a lot more than I was looking for — and definitely a lot more than my impatient 22-​month-​old was looking for. But I hung in there because she was working so hard. And then she totally sold me on their very deeply moisturizing lotion — so good for her!
I was told that if I had a smartphone, I could «bump» it at the front kiosk to get an immediate-​use 40% off coupon. Sold. I didn’t know what this «bumping» was, and it took a little while since I had to download the app… but by now, one of the women was dusting my son in glittery powder from a furry puffer, and he loved it, so who cares?!
All in all, great customer service, and it seems great products. But beware if you’re in a hurry…

I would say Laline is a classier version of Bath And Body Works. The people that work here are super friendly, they explained different products that they have, and not in a pushy kinda way.
The ambiance and packaging are cute but I wish there are more samples?
Almost all the products cost more than $ 25 so it’s a bit pricey, but when I went there were some discounts if you buy 2 or 3 items.
