Went here because I saw the fruit display outside & was pleasantly surprised by all the other things they had: a real butcher counter; Latino baked goods that were very fresh; fresh and tasty tamales, pork and chicken, by the checkout counter. Lots of snacks & staples. Good prices. Friendly and efficient check-out person. Wish I lived closer because I would buy those pastries and tamales often. I found street parking easily.

La Lomas are kind of weird, let’s be real. But, weird in a good way. It’s walking into another world, which is kinda grimey, kinda disorganized, but you find you kinda dig it! That’s La Loma Produce No 3. It’s in the Outer Mission, so it’s not super crowded, but it’s still got the crowded feel inside(permiso, o permiso is excuse me in Spanish) I usually go here for my meat and I get palomilla cut(great for milanesa) then I usually get some fruits, veggies, and maybe rice… Service is great, and it’s a family type atmosphere

I really like this grocery store!!! If your going to La Loma go for the Plantain Chips its one of my favorite things to eat!!! La Loma grocery store isn’t that bad of a place… Accept for the parking that’s the tough part about shopping but everything else is okay and the grocery items that they have at La Loma isn’t that expensive!!!

Awful. I stopped in here on Memorial Day 2011 to grab a Sandwich from the Deli. At $ 6.25, it was over priced for the size. Roxie’s and Little Lucca charge the same price for a bigger, more prestigious sandwich. Any who, I was hungry so what was I going to do? Everything was closed which is why I stopped at La Loma to begin with. The Sandwich was awful. I got this nasty taste in my mouth which lead me to wonder what the hell it was coming from which is when I noticed that the outside of the Salami had become stale, probably from sitting around too long. We can all make a sandwich and its pretty freakin hard to mess one up being that there is no special ingredients to it so I can’t give this place for than a single star. You’re a freakin produce store with a butcher’s shop in the back yet your sandwich lacks freshness?! Have you ever considered picking the produce fresh from the store in order to put together something a little better? Probably Not. Will not be returning here.
