La Bella Full Service Salon

If I can give this place a zero or negative star, I absolutely will. Their service is awful. There was a old lady did manicure for me, and even worst she cut my hand. Absolutely not recommend this place.

I really wanted to like this place!
Drove around Mission st at 6:30 trying to find a place still open to get a mani-​pedi and this place had decent reviews. Found street parking right outside! The owner recently took over this salon.
The Good
–Very clean and relaxing ambiance (at least at first glance)
–Polish job on my nails seems pretty solid and it is already day 3
–Service is very nice!
-$ 25 for a mani-​pedi
The Bad
–Very, very disorganized. I think this may be due to the fact they just opened.
–Dolly, while VERY nice, is clearly a hair stylist moonlighting as a manicurist. She had no idea what she was doing, the owner had to go over everything she did and she forgot to massage my other arm. Dafuq. The owner had to keep telling her what to do and then later I see her advertising her hair cutting business to one of the male customers.
–Huge 20% off banner in front of the store but the owner told me only returning customers get 20% and said she’d give me a coupon after I paid and then never did. Misleading!
–Both my fingernails and toenails are filed and cut all weird. Worst filing job I’ve ever seen.
The Ugly
–Watched the owner wax a womans mustache in the nail drying area. Shouldn’t this be done in a sanitary private room? She was also double dipping the wax stick.
–The only time I’ve had a painful manicure. I was seriously terrified with every move Dolly made.
–I had to balance a bowl of hot water between my legs the entire time wtf. They need to find a better way to do this. After the bowl of water was properly dirty and filled with all kinds of different chemicals, they dumped it into the foot bath. Great.
–The scrub they use is really rough. There are scratch marks on my legs from it!
Update: I don’t know whats going on with their polish or how they applied it but it stayed chip free for almost an entire week! THIS NEVER HAPPENS!!!

Great place!!! Lucy is amazing and the staff always does their best to accommodate my needs.

I went in there today and I must say, Jennifer did an absolutely great job on my nails. I have been going to Sydney’s in mission and court land for almost 7 years and I wasn’t happy with the outcome anymore. I walked inside la Bella today and showed her my nails… She said «don’t worry I’ll fix» and she sure did. I get gel over my real nails and this was great success. Happy

Amazing service. I got a manicure and a pedicure along with my eyebrows done. They did a fantastic job. My eyebrows have never looked this amazing and I’ve had them done quite often.

New business on mission street between Persia and Russa in the Excelsior… the ambiance is superb… an Upscale LOOK, love, love, love it!!! The owner was there 6 years ago and is back… glad to have a GOOD nail shop in my neighborhood instead of going downtown to get my nails done. They also do eyelash extensions which I got and loved. downside of getting the lashes is that you need to go back and get a fill and that can be costly, just saying… And, eyebrows too. She does an excellent job!!!
