History

Established in 1978.

For nearly 40 years, the Kha family at KTD Fine Jewelers has been outfitting clients with dazzling diamonds, precious gems, stunning gold, premium platinum, and handsome timepieces.

Our loyal customers are the heart of our business and we consider them to be part of our extended family. Many of them have continued to come to us over the years for a lifetime of celebratory jewelry — from engagement rings to baby christening bracelets to anniversary pendants, and all the days in between.

We welcome you to visit our showroom where you can try on jewelry in a relaxed environment, get advice from our GIA diamond graduates and knowledgeable staff and enjoy complimentary jewelry cleaning while you shop.

Please call us for an appointment, or swing by the next time you’re in the neighborhood. Our showroom is conveniently located in the San Francisco Jewelry Center, and we offer free parking to our guests.

We are second-​generation jewelers — three sisters working together along with our parents. Most of our employees have been with us for more than 10 years.

Since 1978, we have had a lot of fun helping make our clients’ special occasions shine. So we really don’t feel like we’ve worked for a day!

I don’t know why it took me so long to write this review. After our friend introduced this place for us to buy our wedding rings, KTD is the only Jewelers is the only place we buy Jewelry for the past 18 years. Linda helped us the first time and we have been working with Aulien ever since. I will buy my wife jewelry every 2 – 3 years. Rings, ear rings, necklace. Aulien alway provide great services. Super good service by Kiet!!! I came here to do some changes to my engagement ring. It came out looking exactly the way I wanted it. Originally my ring is a cathedral setting with the two sides squared going up to the diamond. I wanted the two side to be tapered in instead of it being square because I feel like it took too much attention from my diamond. Anyhow, so I left the setting for them to fix on Tuesday and I got it back Thursday. Super fast service! Another plus!

I’ve had some bad experiences with jewelry stores before, feeling cheated and ripped off. Until a friend of mine took me to this small family run store, tucked in the back of the San Francisco Jewelry Center. It has now been almost 20 years or more that I have entrusted KTD, and Linda to all of my jewelry needs. The key word is «TRUST». Trust makes every visit to this store memorable. KTD uses quality workmanship and materials used in custom pieces created from hand drawn drawings, right in front of my face. So to wrap it up… Linda, Nedra and I will be in, in the next couple of weeks to upgrade her wedding set for our 5 year anniversary. Thanks for always treating us like royalty!

KTD is such a special place, I can’t imagine ever going back to any other jewelry store. The ladies who work here are gracious, personal, and talented. They are very easy to work with, and can make literally anything that you can imagine. The personal touch is beyond compare.
Linda handmade the engagement rings of myself and all my sisters-​in-​law, and they are amazing. She really becomes part of the process, to the point of thanking us for letting her be part of the experience. It has become a family tradition, and has been a very special part of all of our engagements.
The difference with KTD is that the whole process is very personal. The stones are personally selected by them, they make the jewelry themselves, and sell them themselves. They develop relationships with their customers that last lifetimes. This is a jeweler that you can trust.

My fiancé purchased a round diamond and setting from here. He was very pleased with the customer service. They really try to work with your budget to find you a nice diamond. I’ve had my engagement ring for almost 1.5years now and I am extremely happy with it. The large center stone and side stones on the band have a lot of sparkle, brilliance, and fire. I’ve compared my ring side by side with the Zales 1.5ct celebration diamond and I like mine better. I’ve taken my ring here about every 6 months to have the setting checked and to have the ring cleaned for free. I love the nice ladies here and would definitely recommend coming here to purchase your perfect diamond.

KTD Fine Jewelers is truly a gem.
The staff is like family and they treat their customers like one of their own. Without a doubt, every member of the KTD family is willing to work diligently with you to ensure that your desires are met.
What impressed me most about KTD is that they never discriminate, never judge, nor refuse any customer. Although I was just a teenager when I made my first purchase at KTD, they treated me with the utmost respect and made sure that I was happy with my purchase.
6+ years later, KTD is still my destination for jewelery. Now, I bring my friends, and even the tough critic, my mother here. I know for sure that Linda and all the other staff will take care of them and offer not only great prices, but brilliant style ideas as well.
If you didn’t already know, they design their own pieces here. You can get one of a kind pieces with class and style including all the signatures of your taste.
I really cannot say how much i love KTD. I already know that I trust Linda with my future engagement ring that i’m going to send my fiancé to purchase.
Don’t be afraid to ask for suggestions. They’re here to open your mind with ideas on pieces of jewelery that you’ve never thought of before. Recently, my mother had several single pair of earrings (one set of the pair missing) that LInda was able to transform into beautiful rings with amazing settings as well as pendants, giving them new life.

We’ve been looking for an engagement ring for months now. We went in to KTD with our own gemstone looking for a setting. Linda, who is a ring designer herself, was able to help us efficiently. We found the perfect setting in less than an hour! The flexibility of this place is amazing. They have a great selection of jewelry and they are willing to modify the pieces at a minimal charge.
Awesome and knowledgeable staff, great selection, and great price, what more can you ask for? We will definitely be returning for the wedding set! (I can’t stop smiling about my engagement ring)

I was in the market for a ring… some call it a «push present,» but I prefer to think of it as a keepsake for my daughter. I was looking for an antique-​looking setting with diamonds for her birthstone. I was able to get a very impressive ring for a fraction of the price of a regular jewelry store. I was even able to get the stone set and the ring sized while at lunch! The sales staff are low-​pressure and helpful. Kiet usually helps us when we come, but I worked with Jacklyn and she was a great help!
I know that I’ll enjoy the ring for years to come and hope that my daughter will enjoy wearing it someday too!!!
*tips for visiting*
In the Jewelry Center… free parking across the street. Mainly open weekdays, except for during holiday season so call ahead for hours. I prefer the Jewelry Center over the Gift Center… mainly b/​c of KTD! I know that I can trust the product/​price.

I was lucky enough to find a piece I wanted, at at their prices, able to take it home !! I got a white gold enhancer with a large cushion cut smoky topaz in the center. This is something I have wanted for several years…
