After Hours Bar is the newest pop up bar in the heart of downtown. We offer $ 4 beers on tap, homemade Sangria, and wine along with a bar menu of tasty bites. We are open Thursday nights for Coney Island night with prizes and fun to be had old timey boardwalk style, Friday nights for Karaōke with Glenny Kravitz Karaōke Shark who is truly unforgettable, and Saturday nights for different events like Club Chuckles Comedy nights, Dj’s and more. This is a great little spot all about good times! We are inside the Escape From New York on Bush street between Kearny and Montgomery with the great outdoor patio out front on the alley! Come Visit!

Went here on 12−2−11 10:15pm, glenny kravitz invited me to his karaōke gig (via facebook) at debbie’s after hour bar (within the escape from ny pizza). I’m glad he extended it till 11:30pm. I saw some regular karaōke friends from other bars that went there also. I had the lagunita’s ipa and sierra nevada beers ($ 4 per glass, reasonable prices) and also pepperoni and a pepperoni with onion+bell pepper pizza slices – those were pretty good. Debbie is a nice lady which I met this evening, she mentioned if she get more customers, they can have the karaōke till 12am. I do like the modern layout with a handpainted drawing and a wall hanging sculpture of a gorilla. I sang september and let’s groove (from earth wind and fire), just the way you are (billy joel) and just once (james ingram).
