History
Established in 2000.
Since 1998, Maggie Braff, Kennedy Events’ founder, has been producing professional conferences, fundraisers and galas with a personal touch. Maggie has created lively, informative and interactive events for a range of nonprofits and businesses, including the United Way, UCSF, Kaiser Permanente, the Oakland Museum and Make a Wish Foundation. A recognized leader in the industry, Maggie has also taught the ins and outs of successful event planning and fundraising at the Association of Fundraising Professionals and at the Business Arts Council.
Paige Buck joined Kennedy Events as a partner in 2012. Since 1997, Paige Buck’s business acumen has helped businesses and nonprofits create events that make an impact. «Professionals have to attend a lot of conferences, galas and retreats — they’ve seen it all. Our goal is to make it meaningful. Selecting the right format and content is key to keeping everyone engaged.»
