I’m an old-​fashioned travel agent offering highly personalized ²⁴⁄₇ service. And I do house calls, too! Specialties include high-​end and bespoke luxury travel for small groups and individuals. My areas of expertise include ultra-​luxury cruises, customized vacations & luxury hotel stays. I also plan spectacular honeymoons, anniversary and birthday celebrations and complete trips that clients (you) have started and just can’t quite figure out how to finish!

My relationships built over twenty years with the world’s top hotels, cruise lines and local agencies will ensure your successful vacation. Once a year I host a Virtuoso Voyager Club cruise where my clients and others enjoy fine food, wine, camaraderie while visiting great places — all aboard the world’s most luxurious smaller ships,

History

Established in 2004.

Long before I established Josh Friedman Luxury Travel I started in the travel business in the early 80s working for ‘the’ top luxury cruise line Royal Viking Line, right here in Embarcadero One on the 39^th floor. Later on, I worked for the next ‘the’ top cruise line, Seabourn at 55 Francisco St. (by then Royal Viking was just a memory).

In between I moved to Laguna Beach, became a luxury focused travel agent and cruise specialist, moved back to San Francisco and after working in marketing at IDC and Clorox decided to return to the travel agency business.

The last 10 years have been great and I’m glad to be here to help you plan your customized luxury vacation, cruise, honeymoon or luxury hotel stay.

I’m from Miami Beach by way of Los Angeles, and moved to San Francisco right after graduating from UCSD. I also studied at the University of Florence (in Italy) and New York University, with a major in Art History and minor in foreign languages, mostly Italian.

I’ve been around to most parts of the world, with well over 20 trips each to Europe and Hawaii. My clients come from all walks of life and include honeymoon couples, successful entrepreneurs, retired executives, working executives, professors, scientists, and others who love to travel well.
