I called Jose and he and his partner showed up within the hour. They fixed my bedroom door as it was hard to close and I had to slam it (5 stars for this!!). Then I realized water was on my kitchen floor and my faucet was leaking under the cabinet. Thank God Jose was there so I asked if they could fix it — he said yes. So they waited around while I ran to Lowes (10 minutes away) and installed the sink. (5 stars for this!!). When they were done, I checked the sink and found that the lever would give you cold when on the hot button and hot when on the cold button. When I asked Jose about this he said it was because of my dishwasher and something else, which didn’t make a lot of sense, but I let it go. Now however, it’s a nuisance as every time I want hot I have to push it to the cold and vice versa. I plan to call Jose and have him come out and switch the hoses which is all that needs to be done. So, stayed tuned and let’s see how his customer service is in terms of coming back to make adjustments. It will be the difference between 3 stars and 5 stars.

Jose and his team were fantastic. I hired him to patch a hole in my curved, plaster ceiling. He was very responsive after I called. I was able to text him a picture of what needed to be repaired and we booked our appointment via text which was super convenient. He was prompt and fast. For priming, painting and patching the hole, it was $ 385 which was a great price considering the hole was a bit tricky being on a curved part of the ceiling. The caliber of the repair was perfect, you can’t even tell there was a hole there. I will certainly be calling Jose for other handyman repairs in the future!

Jose and his guys are awesome! They always answered my calls or if he was on a job returned my call promptly. They repaired some damaged walls and painted. The job is absolutely perfect. They have also done other jobs anywhere from installing a new bathroom fan, garbage disposal, fixed my stairs and some fencing that was falling apart. Jose and his crew Mario, Hugo, and Jose are respectful and know how to get the job done. I can’t recommend them enough. If you need something repaired call these guys, they can do it all.

Called on a Sunday and he came by the next day to look at the dry rot on my stairs and gave me a quote right away. Thanks for being so prompt!

No response to any of our phone calls. Minus three stars.

I hired Jose and his team recently for a small job to replace the drywall in one room. Jose got back to me quickly and his team finished it up in one day. The work was high quality. I would hire him again if I had another job.

I’ve worked with Jose and his team for years. He is always my go-​to guy for all my handyman and construction needs. He’s extremely thorough, neat and clean and reasonably priced. He does beautiful work, always. I would not hesitate to contact him for any of my projects.

Figured out what was wrong with my light fixture — the switch, not the light at all! And fixed a closet door. Both had been broken for years. Finally I decided to call a handyman and he came over the next day, fixed the light & closet door in 1hr. I can’t believe it took me years to just make the call. Next time I need something I will call Jose!

I found Jose on Skype and needed a shower stall resealed on short notice for a customer. He called back right away and they finished the job within a day or two. The price included labor and materials and seemed reasonable to us.

Full stop, this guy is beyond amazing. I had holes all over my house from a built in sound system. When it was retired, needed to dry wall and match walls that had been painted 3 years earlier. Jose came the day after I contacted him to see the work, sent me a proposal next day, came following week. Based on reliability and excellent communications A+. Yes, it was on the pricey side but frankly, his work is art. I cannot believe he was able to cover everything – mind you at eye level – and you CANNOT even tell it’s not original. He even redid electric boxes that were double gang to single gang. He arrived with everything but the paint (which of course I had) and another guy. They both worked nonstop until it was done 5 hours. His attitude is pleasing, he asks the right questions, he faced project creep and charged me a fair rate for what extra he did. If you need something done right the first time, Jose is your guy. He exemplifies how service people should do their business.

Never returned my phone calls. Ignoring potential customers isn’t a very good way to do business. Hopefully, Jose is doing quite well and doesn’t need any additional clients.

I called Jose based on Unilocal and he arrived the next day. He handled multiple tasks extremely well including exterior and interior painting, fixing and installing lights and replacing my dryer vent. He and his assistant Mario were always on time and I highly recommend them.

I have worked with Jose for the past four months and if I could I would give six stars! He is really great, loves his work (Quote «last night I dreamt about how to make it work and now I have a great solution! «) Jose puts all effort into realizing your plans and ideas. Searches everywhere for the rights parts if they are not exactly what is needed for the project. No matter how fancy the idea might seem, he will find a solution!
I recently moved to the bay area and needed to renovate our new apartment. Jose helped me with an excellent Drywall job and a lot of painting, general fixing and remodeling. He and his partner are VERY reliable, always on time totally trustworthy and really great to work with.
Jose always takes enough time to fully understand what is needed to be done before the job and after job evaluates the result together with you and does not finish until it is fully to your satisfaction. Also when it comes to covering the apartment with plastic or any other dust covering measures, Jose does a great job!
I can absolutely recommend him for any kind of work, I will also definitely contact him again for further things — there is always something that needs to be done in a house.

I called Jose this morning since we had one of our doors in the hallway that was stuck closed (it needed to be sanded with a machine sander on the top). He promptly came over later this afternoon and gave me a very fair estimate of how much it would cost to fix it. And then he was able to fix it in less than 30 minutes! He was very courteous, prompt, and also I felt totally safe having him in my house. He also laid down a tarp to minimize any debris from the door repair. I will definitely use him again for any future handyman repairs!

My only concern is that Jose will get too busy to keep doing work for us. He repaired windows and wood siding that we were concerned were too rotted to be saved. He showed up on time, over multiple days, worked fast, bought materials, and got everything done at the price he quoted up front. You should have no hesitation about calling him.

Jose was very easy to work with. We just needed a sculpture hung. He came out to our house the same day we contacted him to provide an estimate, then returned today with a coworker and they had it up in less than 20 minutes and it looks perfectly centered. Very happy, money well spent.

Jose and his team have just become my «go to» for handyman services. Within 24 hours of contacting him a long list of things that needed to be done in my rental unit are finished! He did everything ranging from fixing door knobs, sanding and painting to electrical work. Jose is very friendly, responsive affordable and good at what he does! I will be calling on him again.

Jose and his team are fantastic. We’ve worked with him on several different projects to assist with tile, painting and various other work. He’s reliable, prompt and very honest. His work is very good, especially tiling and painting.

Honestly, five stars doesn’t come CLOSE to doing this guy justice. He is absolutely AMAZING. I had what I thought was a huge problem with some outside lights. I called Jose. He said he could come by the following day. (He was early.) He and his partner diagnosed the problem in about 15 minutes. It was much simpler than I’d feared, but required some replacement parts. He took off to pick up what I needed, came back quickly, and in less than two hours from the time he showed up … he was done.
And everything worked perfectly.
This is the second time I have called Jose. The first was for a leak. Again, Jose diagnosed the problem, repaired it in 30 minutes and was done. Hasn’t leaked at all since then.
He is, hands down, the best ‘jack of all trades’ I have ever come across. I give him my absolute HIGHEST recommendation.

I am a local tile contractor here in the city. One day I needed some extra guys out on a job and was referred to Jose. Not only did he do tile and was a huge help, he also said he did electrical and some plumbing. Which was super helpful as I had a heating mat to set up as well as some shower fixtures. At the end of the job the client needed some drywall installed in another room. Jose said he knew how and had it installed and mudded and painted with in acouple days! He’s fast, prompt, honest and knowledgeable. I cant say enough about him! 5 Stars all the way!!!
