I recently went through an extremely challenging divorce and with Alex’s guidance and compassion; he made one of the most difficult experiences in life just a bit more endurable. Alex is incredibly fair, his professionalism is impeccable and his knowledge of the legal system is unsurpassed. I have immense gratitude for him and would highly recommend him for Family Law as well as within his other practice areas.

I must say, I am a little embarrassed posting this review just now as this was long overdue. From my first panic phone consultation with Dan Devoy until our renter/​landlord case was settled, my husband and I received nothing but top notch service. Dan is very personable, professional, understanding and he sincerely cared about our situation. I must admit I may not have been the easiest client to deal with as I must’ve had a million questions but Dan was always on top of things and always notified us of any new developments in our case. It was a very stressful situation for us and he was always there to guide us and provided us with anything we needed. To top it off, they were very fair with their fees knowing that every penny matters to their clients. I had the pleasure of meeting Alex as well during our settlement conference and he was equally helpful and a professional to deal with. I highly recommend their services and would not hesitate if ever — hopefully not — the need arises.

Just got out of court with Alex. My Ex tried to slander and lie about my character in order to keep my daughter from me. She hired 3 lawyers in the process. Alex shot them all down and the Judge actually gave me more time than I had requested, an extra overnight. I am happy with the service I have received and very pleased with the results.

Horrible! Horrid experience with these lawyers. Stay away, batting 0 out of two in my case. FAILED on my VA claim and totally screwed up my personal injury lawsuit. They are little fish among a pool of sharks. They have NO CAPITAL to back up your lawsuit.
They don’t have money to take your case to TRIAL. They turned a $ 900,000 potential injury lawsuit into a low five figure settlement. In other words they couldn’t match these high powered law firm, my lawsuit was about to be vacated/​dismissed if I didn’t settle…
I have caught Dan on numerous lies and broken promises, he also likes to take numerous two week vacations a year, rather than working LAW. One of my most horrific San Francisco experience.
I found it very odd that Dan moved into a secured building from an accessible building… Like he’s trying to HIDE from his clients…

I worked with Dan for a over the year for noise complain and the nuisance from the neighbor (who lives JUST RIGHT NEXT TO MY HOUSE! ouch!!), and before him, I had a couple of the choices of the lawyers, but I decided to work with Dan when we meet together at his office in Downtown.
Firstable, He didn’t recommend to hire himself for the problem! he said that to me. Because the fee isn’t very cheap and I (me) might lose the money unless I win the case.
Secondable, he recommended me to write the special letter to the neighbor for FREE! or did recommend me to file the case with small claim, so I don’t need the lawyer he said. But I Had decided to work with Dan at the day we met together. Since then, it took almost a year to completely win for the case. Dan was very very nice, gentle, and encourage me all the time until we won the case, even after the case, he always answer my question if I have one. Of course NO CHARGE AT ALL!
Then, I also worked Dan’s partner, Alex for the restraining order which was filed my neighbor (ex defendant). The neighbor filed fake order against me, and then I respond with Alex. Alex is the specialist of the restraining order, and he did great job for me. Of course I won the case again!
It is very difficult to explain my experience, but can say that these lawyers are the best in the city! Highly highly recommend! Please feel free to contact me if you are considering to hire the lawyer.
