Jonathan just photographed our wedding on Saturday, September 10, 2011, and let me just say: HE WAS FANTASTIC!
His attention to all of us was divine, especially to me, the bride. I felt special and like a model for the day. He was exceedingly patient with all the other cameras flashing (and bodies jumping in his way) and his mad skills were unsurpassed! And I use the word «patient» with emphasis: my family is made up of a bunch of crazy loud French-​Sicilians… need I say more? haha — He handled all of us with ease and grace.
I was more than thrilled with his expertise and style. His eye was superb. He exceeded my hopes and expectations by a long shot. Hire him. It will be one of the smoothest and greatest investments for your wedding. ;-)

Jonathan photographed our wedding in June of 2004. To this day I recommend him to every couple I know getting married.
He was professional without being stuffy, he was easy to work with and has a great personality. Our photos were delivered promptly and are amazing. He has a great eye and knows how to work with people.

Jonathan did our wedding photos in 2002. And I could wholeheartedly recommend him for your wedding or portrait photographer. He’s very talented photographer and he has a gift that I’m envy of. He’s fresh of air whom hasn’t really wrapped up with wedding frenzy (the craziness that go with it) and try offer everything upfront, and fees are flat and straight. His fees are all listed on his web page. And that’s all that is.
He’s so candid at the wedding. My husband and I were in an awe seeing all the photos he took (about 700 – 800 total) and amazed how he captured them all without being noticed by the subjects. He’s a big guy too! His real talent is also with his ninja skill as someone puts it. He’s there but somehow he blends in to the crowd with a couple of big cameras strapped around him, and didn’t interrupt nor steal any moment of the wedding. After our wedding, I’ve noticed some of other photographers at friends’ wedding stops and pauses the wedding ceremony and often stationed right in front of newlyweds in order to get «that» shots.
We found him just because one of my co-​workers who were getting married same year did an extensive search/​interview of 6+ photographers and just booked Jonathan. We appreciated the hard work of my co-​worker who shared all the horror stories of interviewing photographers (even bite the bait story of a photographer). We quick looked at Jonathan’s website and decided to go with him with a quick phone call because I personally just fell in love the photos that I saw and the price (he gave us a discount because the wedding was on Memorial day, Monday which means it’s weekday!). When we met him first time a week before our wedding for an engagement shot, he told us we’re the first couple who booked without meeting him. :)
I’ve majored art, graphic design, studied photography as well as film and advertising, and worked in the special effects industry, so I have to say I have a very opinionated ideas on design, style and look. From the beginning I wanted photos to be more casual and stylish than some cookie cutter posed pictures with ornate back-​drops & settings.
Many of our guests were artists and visual person, so we had a cloth backdrop setting at our outdoor wedding site and have taken each guest portrait shot with our cameras. Some of the best were by Jonathan while we were away to recharge our camera batteries. It’s nice to see many of their portraits taken by Jonathan ended up in their living rooms.
Jonathan did film package back then (he hasn’t offered digital package at that time), so he gave us all the negatives & all the prints good and not so good as well (11 – 13 rolls?) and he choose about 100 that he liked the most with an album. We scanned the negatives and printed many copies and enlargements for us, family members and friends. My 2 cents, I don’t recommend to buy each prints from a photographer. You should own the photos of your wedding right away if you paid for their service of taking them.

Jonathan shot our engagement and wedding photos a few years ago, and the pictures came out great. We got a nice selection of formal and casual, b&w and color images. Jonathan captured several candid shots when we were unaware of his presence. I’m still not sure how he got so many shots while being almost as invisible as a ninja. :) Price was right too.

Jonathan shot our wedding a month ago. His rates are very reasonable and straightforward, and he doesn’t try to upsell you with multiple package options. If only all vendors were so easy to navigate. Our engagement session with him was a lot of fun, he covered the wedding very thoroughly, and he was VERY inobtrusive. Best of all, he made me look fab! Book Jonathan, but don’t wait, he’ll be busy during that there weddin’ season.

Jonathan was so great to work with. He was friendly with our family and our guests, he got all the great shots, and he even set us up with a consultation shoot beforehand, all for a really reasonable price. We loved having him as our wedding photographer.

We got an engagement session, so we could feel more at ease with him shooting us. He has a good eye and great composition. His rates (which are very reasonable) are listed on his website which I found refreshing and time saving. His work is just as good if not better than the high priced photographers in the area
I chose the film package (he has a digital package as well), and we got our photos with negatives and album early. Our contract stated that we’ll get the photos in 6 weeks, but I forgot about that clause, so I asked him for the photos after 3 weeks. He delivered! The photos looked great.
