Jimmy’s Hardwood Floor

Jimmy’s Hardwood Floors did a great job installing new floors throughout my newly purchased home. Our house was built in 1906 and slightly slopes down to the right, which appears to be a result of settling over a hundred years. There were a couple of other tricky issues, and the folks at Jimmy’s handled all these things well. They undercut the baseboards and laid the new ¾ inch white oak right under the baseboards. They also trimmed all the doors to accommodate the raised floors.
I chose the darkest stain and three layers of protective finish. Overall, it took about a week – and they used heaters and fans to accelerate the drying so we could move in when we wanted and not have to pay more rent to our mean landlord.
