I’m about to receive my fourth treatment from Jerome and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s the best part of my Saturday! Why would I enjoy being poked with needles? Certainly not because I’m a Sadist. For those new to acupuncture, you couldn’t be in better hands than Jerome’s. Acupuncture needles are not the same as the hypodermics used to give injections and don’t really hurt in general, but Jerome is a particularly gentle practitioner when it comes to the needles, as well as other aspects of care. I’ve had treatments from several different acupuncturists in the past, and thus have experienced different needling techniques.
At each appointment with Jerome, I feel that I have his full attention. He exhibits care and concern for my medical needs without prying. What’s more, he is attentive to every aspect of my comfort during treatment: the music, the lighting, the temperature – we’re talking full service here! He has a small hand-​held buzzer that I can use to summon him whenever I need during my treatment so I never get nervous or anxious about being left too long. After treatment I feel great: relaxed & replenished. I couldn’t ask for more!
