Jasmine is a truly talented photographer. We had her as our wedding and engagement photographer. The photos are stunning. We like her work so much that now we ask her to shoot mini sessions for our anniversary. She is very artistic and efficient. For every location, she can quickly compose a shot that makes the best out of the surrounding. We are looking forward to working with her in the future!

Jasmine is a very talented artist who provides excellent customer services. I would not talk too much about how beautiful her works are, you can find out yourself on her blog. Unlike some other wedding photographers who always have their customers shot at the same places for pre wedding session. Jasmine would provide you her recommendation while also like to travel to your choice of destination. We took our pre wedding photos at Sutro Bath. She was able to quickly capture the best place/​angle for shooting and she was also able to help you relax and smile naturally in front of cameras.
Before the day of wedding, we met at the hotel and visited every single place to shoot in/​outside the hotel in person. This saved us a lot of time on the day of wedding. Jasmine is indeed good at time control and the quality and quantity of her work are truly exceptional and not compromised. After the wedding, she promptly provided me a few sneak peak photos before she processed the rest. I provided my comments on her editing work and she was willing to make changes accordingly. This is another example that Jasmine listened to our needs and provided excellent customer services. My husband and I are 100% satisfied with the photos we received in about 7 weeks after the day of wedding. We received tons of complements from our family and friends and many inquiries for Jasmine’s contact. We are glad that we had Jasmine as our wedding photographer and truly thankful for her beautifully work and dedicated services.

Jasmine has a great eye for details and is very talented at what she does. My wife and I are not very good at posing for pictures, but she was very helpful and gave great suggestions. As an example, we were sitting on a staircase for a photograph and she asked my wife to bend her feet inward a little bit just so it to looks more proportional and natural. I think such comment can only come from a very detail oriented person with a modeling background, such as herself.
Besides her photography talent, she was a pleasure to work with. She was very flexible and was able to find another photographer for us within short notice. One of our desires was to have our wedding photographs be shown as a slideshow during our reception. She happily suggested how that would work out and she edited our photos that very same day for our slideshow. Once the deed was done, we picked our wedding album options and were amazed at the fantastic quality.
We are glad that we went with Jasmine and highly recommend her.

Jasmine Wang is a true artist and her work is nothing short of amazing. She made me feel beautiful on my wedding day and during my engagement photo shoot. She showed equal care to my camera-​adverse husband. We both appreciated how well she treated us as individuals and as a couple. Jasmine has definite ideas of what will make a good photograph. Although you may think you know what will look best, do yourself a favor and listen to Jasmines direction.
Of equal importance for wedding photography, she was very diplomatic in managing family and extended family on our wedding day. My husband and I both have very strong willed families; Jasmine was able to run things so smoothly that our families didn’t even suspect they were being managed.
When I look back at our wedding album, I am always reminded of how perfectly Jasmine captured the feelings, mood, and everything about the day. I am transported back to one of the most perfect days of my life.

Thanks to Jasmine, our wedding pictures are gorgeous! We received so many compliments. The pictures are classic, but with an artist twist. Jasmine did a great job at taking our ideas and using her knowledge of photography to create beautiful shots. Jasmine also is very skilled at editing. We are super excited about our final wedding photos — now we just need to pick out our favorites to include in the professional wedding album… this could be difficult :)

Jasmine was our wedding day photographer about a year ago so this review is well overdue. We chose Jasmine because we were so intrigued with her portfolio because they were not only photos of smiling couples in beautiful settings, but had a very creative and symbolic element to her style of shooting. Our consultation was extremely helpful as this was our first time doing a photo shoot and Jasmine was very patient and detailed with us on explaining the process, walking us through her portfolio and really listening to what we would like to capture for our special day. We did a 4 hour photo shoot around San Francisco. It rained that day and we were so worried we would have limited options of where to shoot, and we didn’t want to reschedule because hair and makeup was already done. Jasmine made some great suggestions on alternate covered locations for us. It turns out that grey days can be amazing days to take photos! During the shoot, Jasmine gave us expert advice on how to stand in relation to the environment as well as how my husband and I should pose. I have a whole new appreciation now for the effort it takes to have the right position and poses for photos. What was most incredible though was the outcome of this shoot. We were absolutely ecstatic by the way the photos came out. It captured the joy of the moment, the classic style we wanted, and the sentimental moments that were candid and part of the day’s experiences. Jasmine captured the essence of the life event that we wanted to remember for the rest of our lives. She is extremely professional, caring and genuinely wants you to love the work she produces. I also liked that she never applied any pressure on add-​ons. There’s no doubt she takes her work seriously and if you are willing to follow her expert advice during the photo shoot experience, you will come away with an incredible set of memories captured in photos. We whole heartedly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a photographer. Thank you, Jasmine!

Jasmine our beloved photographer. She did both our wedding and engagement photos. She was super easy to work with and accomodating to our busy schedules. People described our engagement photos as «timeless» and «HOT.» And our wedding photos come with the universal reviews of «beautiful and gorgeous.» She knows her craft well and without you even realizing it makes you look and feel more romantic and beautiful then you could of ever imagined. I think a big part of this is that it is not just a job for her. As you get to know Jasmine, it becomes quickly apparent that she is a deeply romantic and passionate soul herself. And this passion permeates throughout her work. Hire her not only for your wedding, but family portraits, work portfolios… you will be delighted.

What can I say about Jasmine… Let’s just say, it was as if it was love at first sight! Thanks to Kate at the Palace hotel, she told me about this awesome photographer while I was venue shopping in San Francisco. I was scrambling to get two weddings planned in SF and in South Africa, it was god send that I’ve found Jasmine. Of all the aspect in the wedding, I cared the most about photographer and videographer, but just like most brides, I have a budget to consider as well. As soon as I got home from my meeting with Kate, I looked up Jasmine’s website and I was instantly in love. You know that feeling of just knowing what you want and that you got to have it… Who knew this first email to Jasmine, not only got me amazing wedding photos, but also a dear friend.
Our first meeting was easy. I told Jasmine what I wanted, she told me what her style is, and it obviously worked out at the end! She was very reasonable with her traveling arrangement to South Africa (which is very surprising considering most people charge you and arm and a leg!) I like Jasmine not only for her soft, romantic style, but also that hint of a classic yet dramatic flare. She defines beauty in her own distinct ways while she really brings out the best in any person. She is a true artist that not only transforms beauty in her works, but also possess a really pure beautiful heart herself. Oh and did I mention she has the voice of an angel? :)
Jasmine ended up flying out to South Africa for our wedding, which she incorporated all things important to both families (culture, traditions, the colors, and everything I wanted!) I know she had a hard time working with my videographer because he was literally everywhere so the two of them had to really work with each other but it turned out well. I think it’s amazing how Jasmine really gets to know her subjects well… she knows exactly what I like and what I don’t… exactly which angle of my face looks better than the other… she takes the most detailed attention to every movement of your body and facial feature to capture the picture perfect moment. I have to admit Jasmine was a big portion of my entire wedding cost, but every time we look at the photos we know it was worth every penny. My husband gave me the hardest time when I booked Jasmine’s highest package, but he reminds me now that he is glad that I did!
I am also really blessed to eventually have become Jasmine’s friend. It really is awesome that we literally live 3 blocks away from each other! I am inspired by her courage and her passion. I also admire all she’s done her her life and how she persued her dreams. Many of my friends have already decided to use Jasmine for their weddings, even though they are still single now :) Wedding day is suppose to be the most beautiful day of your life, and it’s important to find someone that puts you at ease, someone that really tries to understand who you are, and someone that truly cares about what she does. You want your wedding day to be stress free… you want the most beautiful day of you life to be remembered exactly the way you feel it… and I am just so thankful that I’ve found Jasmine… she did exactly all that for me :)
I noticed someone wrote her a 2 star review? To be honest I am in shock that even happened… You can never try to change an artist’s style because that’s what defines who they are. You like someone and pick someone for who they are and what they do. It’s fine that you tell them what is important to you so they can incorporate that into their works and define what you want in their own style. If you don’t like her style to begin with… why would you even consider her? As a very happy client, I can’t believe someone even has the heart to give Jasmine a 2… She is great to work with and I would have not wanted anyone else! Thank you Jasmine!

Jasmine photographed our wedding in December 2006 and we were tremendously pleased with her work. She captured all the right moments, taking pictures we asked for and pictures we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves. We particularly appreciated the amazing post-​production work she did on the photos — we had never looked so good as we did on our wedding day (and sadly, haven’t since!). Highly recommended!

There are a lot of photographers in the world. Only a small handful that can capture something besides a simple picture.
Jasmine’s work captures the personality of the individual[s]. When i saw her sample work, I was blown away. She isn’t just a photographer but the consummate artist as well. Anyone who is lucky enough to hire her to capture your perfect moments in creative and surprising ways will be euphoric for life. Her work touches the heart! Photography doesn’t get any better than this.
And to comment on «Tiffany L.» who gave a 2 star review… It almost defies reason. I can’t imagine a more stressful time in life than planning your own wedding. As the pressure builds, so does your temper — right ladies? «Tiffany L.» commonly cast very negative reviews during her wedding planning period and i can’t believe she left this type of review for Jasmine Wang Photography. In fact, most of Tiffany L’s reviews of business are negative and laughable in light of her apparent very negative demeanor.
While I don’t know Jasmine per se, her work speaks for itself and i think her demeanor is very professional and competent! Fabulous Artist!

Jasmine is amazing! We booked her for our wedding this coming July and just recently did an engagement photo session with her. She took amazing engagement photos. Everyone we showed our photos too were extremely impressed.
Both my fiancé and I are self-​conscious people but somehow we were at ease during the session, and managed to have so much fun in the process. Many photographers takes great pictures, but not too many of them can set a good pose. Jasmine is great at showing you how to do poses for amazing results. She is so easy to work with! We highly recommend Jasmine

The 2 star rating is solely for Jasmine’s demeanor we experienced during our consultation. She did not end up photographing our wedding. This is not a review on her talent.
Jasmine is certainly very confident and very talented as you can see in her work. We met one afternoon for a consultation. We mainly decided against going with her by her demeanor in that she made it very clear that she only would want to do things the way she wanted to do them. It’s not that we want to change her style but it would have been comforting if she had at least try to understand our styles first and then in turn share with us what amongst her portfolio/​style could best work for us. Anyway, it’s probably just our perceptions, but to us she came across as someone who wouldn’t be very easy to work with. She made the point that she is very busy and did 28 or so weddings last year. So, she is definitely in high demand but just not for us.

An amazing artist with an amazing eye. Jasmine is completely professional and easy to work with. Her artistic vision is not only limited to her photography but extends to her editing and layout as well.

More artist than businesswoman, Jasmine Wang is clearly making her mark as one of the Bay Area’s top wedding photographer. While my wife did much of the leg work, I was also very involved in the final selection process. We met Jasmine after scouring different sites to run our final selection process. My main criteria for selecting a photographer was someone that was going to have her own artistic vision for the project and not just be another «shoot». After having brunch with her, we knew that she could be the one and signed with her.
Throughout the entire process, Jasmine was engaged, accomodating and generous with her service. When she thought something was not right she would in her own gentle/​polite manner let you know. The true test for me was how she shot our garden ceremony. The design of the garden originated from me and some of those shots of these design could easily be from an art book.
My advice to those who are going through the stressful time of wedding preparation is this. Look at the photographer’s portfolio of work. This is likely the style that your photographer will shoot your wedding. If it is not your style, find a photographer that closely matches your taste. While any skilled photographer can shoot in multiple style, his/her’s portfolio reflects where his/​her comfort zone is and most likely where they will excel. You would not ask Iron Chef Morimoto to cook French Food would you? He could cook it better than 75% of working chefs likely but why not ask him to do Japanese? I think this is how one should think about hiring a wedding photographer. However, this is only half the story. The other half is how well can the photographer manage the process and the working relationship. Jasmine went out of her way to ensure that we have a great set of pictures. There are things that are bound to come up and it is best to work with a true professional.
So take a look at Jasmine’s work — does it resonate with you? If so, I strongly advise meeting with her to see if there is a fit. I cannot speak to your taste but I can certainly speak for her professionalism. She is a perfectionist at heart and you can be comforted that if she can work your engagement/​wedding that you will get a truly outstanding product. I can’t remember her prices but I recall that they were highly reasonable.
I don’t give many 5 star ratings so definitely check her out…

We hired Jasmine to photograph our wedding recently, and the results have been absolutely incredible. I am beyond amazed at the gorgeous shots she captured — the beautiful composition, the eye-​popping color, and the fantastic use of light. Don’t believe me? Go check out her blog at
. Every picture on that blog is exquisite; in fact, her blog is the reason we chose to hire her in the first place. And I use the word ‘chose’ somewhat lightly, because it wasn’t like there was much deliberation — as soon as I saw her blog, I told my now-​husband, «I want HER.» Nobody else’s work even held a candle to what I saw on Jasmine’s blog. Pay attention to her use of light — it’s absolutely stunning. In addition, note how frequently she loads new material to the blog. It’s not like she’s cherry picking her very best work to showcase. She seems to add at least 2 albums every month, which demonstrates that her work is consistently superb.
You will treasure your wedding photographs forever, so you definitely want to hire the very best to capture your special day. I can confidently say that Jasmine is the very best — you’ll be so glad you hired her!

It is with great pleasure and honor that I write this review. I agree with the other Susi on here (hee hee), it doesn’ t get better than Jasmine. She has the eye of an artist which is NOT easy to find. I researched countless photographers, but found myself always coming back to Jasmine’s website and her work. There was something that made her photography stand out from all the rest. It is gorgeous, natural, creative, and artistic. She made my husband and I look like models! Our guests STILL talk about our wedding pictures today (1 YEAR LATER!!). Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, so why wouldn’t you want to have it captured by the best of the best?!

Jasmine is truly as good as it gets. My (now) husband and I had planned to meet with a minumum of at least three photographers before making a final decision. I received several quotes via e-​mail, but Jasmine was our first in-​person meeting. We met her at her studio, which features a huge drop-​down screen where she shows you samples of her work. After meeting Jasmine and seeing her wonderful work, there was no need to meet with anyone else, we knew we wanted to book her.
Jasmine took amazing engagement photos, and even better wedding day photos. She was a joy to work with. On the wedding day she managed to take amazing photos while remaining almost unnoticeable the whole time. She fluttered about the room like a butterfly, managing to get beautiful shots of all the key moments. She really caputred the beauty and emotion of the day. She also managed to get us our slideshow very shortly after the wedding, which we proudly shared with all of our friends and family.
I would highly recommend Jasmine to anyone. She is well worth the cost, and photography is certainly not something to skimp on in your wedding budget. You will cherish the photos forever!

Jasmine is one of the BEST photographers around! She photographed our wedding in October last year and did an amazing job. I am completely satisfied with her work and would HIGHLY recommend her. She is very artisitc and creative. Everyone that has seen our pictures loves them. My hubby and I especially love them — we love looking at them over and over! She is really great at capturing the moment and emotions. Our wedding photos even made someone who didn’t really know us start crying because she thought they were so beautiful! Jasmine also has a great way of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. I usually hate posing for pictures and I felt totally at ease with her. I don’t like having my picture taken, but she managed to make me feel relaxed, confident, and attractive! And she made the whole experience fun. The photos are fantastic.
