Michelle and team are incredible. Reliable, affordable and always deliver my dry cleaning and shirts on time. I can’t give Michelle enough credit for running such a great business. Feel so lucky to have found them. Also wanted to add a Michelle is the nicest and kindest person I have met.

They’ve done a great job on both my dry cleaning and on wash and fold. Prices are great as is the service.

I ve been using J&M for the last year and half and I ve never had a complain. I go there once every two weeks to get a wash and fold for all my clothes since my building doesn’t have a laundry. It’s only dollar a pound ! And they seot your clothes and fold me up real nice ! They also do a decent job at dry cleaning. Overall I surely recommend them for wash and fold !

This dry clean shop is really bad. I took my Juicy wood coat in her shop. I told them 3 times about my coat need 100% dry clean! I even told them, if not dry clean it will get shrink, because it’s 100% wood coat! She told me ok! After I got my coat I try in my room. IT Totally Get Shrink!!! Can wearing any more! I went there and talk to her. She not nice anymore !! Even yell me it’s my problem! And she even told me, maybe it get shrink before they wash!!! Or the brand of my coat self have problem!!! That’s absurd! She never said sorry and never feel fail!!! I paid money for clean my coat but after her clean, it can’t wearing anymore!!! It’s waste my money and time!!!

This is a great little laundry place on Nob Hill. Inexpensive, high quality, and very friendly proprietors. I dropped off eight large bags of laundry after a move, and was received with a smile. They even found some garments that really needed dry cleaning, and had those dry cleaned as well. I highly recommend this business.

J&M is an amazing find. It’s a little family owned place, but they offer excellent full service. In the over ten years I’ve been using them, they have never lost so much as a sock, what I bring if for wash-and-fold all comes back. They’ve done fantastic rush jobs for me when I’m in a jam, they can wash a load faster than I could at the Laundromat, and for about the same cost. My clothing is always fresh and clean and carefully folded and wrapped in that cool blue paper. They always ask if you want heavy/light/no starch, and if you want your shirts hung or folded. Their dry-cleaning is very good, and the turn around time is fast. Michelle will let you know when an item needs to be washed or dry-cleaned or needs special handling. ichelle is a very competent seamstress, from sewing on buttons to full alterations, her work is well done with care. She’s also made special pieces for me, like table cloths/napkins and other tricky projects. It’s rare these days to get personalized, friendly, efficient service, and at a fair price. There are tons of cleaners in the area, but they are more expensive and give less service and satisfaction. (BTW, the one star review below is for a coin-self-service Laundromat down the street, not J&M which is only full-service!)

This is the second time I used this place for wash and fold. The first time was just for towels and sheets because I had out of town guests and needed stuff clean fast. It was fine. This time I had actual clothes and I’m pretty grossed out because once I got home, I found a pair of underwear that wasn’t mine. I won’t be dropping off any clothes here again anytime soon(or ever).

All my clothes I brought to this place got ruin and recently I wanted to hem my jeans to the length of 32 inches. I guess they can’t do the math and hemmed my jeans to 30 inches. If you don’t love your clothes and want to mess them up, this is the place that will provide those services.

J & M Express Laundry Service is run by an incredibly talented seamstress named Michelle. While efficient as a dry cleaning service, most of my clothes can be washed in a machine so I mostly pay visits to J & M just for my tailoring needs. I have deposited all manner of blouses, skirts, and dresses in varying states of wear: some apparel I’d been endeared with and purchased from a secondhand shop despite the obvious size misfit. She has snipped, hemmed, stitched, shortened, lengthened, and miraculously modified my garments to fit perfectly. At one time I decided to discontinue wearing hooded sweaters but was reluctant to discard one in chocolate brown that matched so much of the attire in my closet. I wasn’t worried because I knew that I would ask Michelle to «de-hood» the sweater and revert it to a normal cardigan. She smiled pleasantly as she listened to my unusual request. In just a few days, I had a sweater, minus the hood, and am so happy to be able to wear it to functions not hoodie-friendly. Michelle’s work is precise and carefully completed. She is a valuable resource for your tailoring needs and her quality alterations are far superior to that of many others in the vicinity.

What the heck. I went to check out Aquatic Laundry two blocks down and no one was there to help me figure out what wash & fold entails. Perhaps it was meant to be, because I magically stumbled across J&M shortly thereafter. So far the attentive service, low prices, and friendly staff have made me a fan.

J&M is definitely a great laundry with reasonable pricing. I found the store four year ago and never change to any other laundry. The down jacket clean is only $ 6 which is the best price I found in town so far. The lady who always assists me is Michelle is very friendly and dose the alteration work. They do offer speedy and quality servirce.

Ok, you gotta love a good old-fashioned Asian dry cleaning/laundry place… at least, I do. You know… the one’s that don’t try to rip you off and say, «Don’t wowry. Only five dollah moh.» At J & M, they do not have ridiculously high prices for being located in lower Nob Hill(right next door to my apartment!), and they give fast service – I got two dresses hemmed and got them back in two days!!! My dresses only cost $ 7 a piece to get hemmed, which totally beat the prices of some of the other dry cleaning shop close by. And yes, the quality was great. Also, everyone at J & M is really friendly. The lady who does alterations, and is the«M» part of J & M, was willing to fix a camera bag(possibly chewed by a chihuahua) the boyfriend brought over even though the job looked a little difficult – and it only cost $ 4! They asked us to pick it up on Monday(they’re closed on Sunday) and made sure we didn’t leave anything in the bag… like any«hundred dollah bills.» Quick, cheap, reliable, close by… possibly my new favorite dry cleaning place…
