Incredible Adventures

My friend and I took one day tour to Yosemite this summer (late August).
It was so beautiful but we would recommend to stay there longer than one day. We had 2 and a half hour to walk around but it was not enough to take any major trail.
This is what you should consider beforw taking any tour:
Summer might be too dry that many water falls and lakes dry up.
I mentioned above that you should stay there more than one day.
You can buy lunch and quick dinner at super market that guide will take you. Its cheap and good.
Sit on the RIGHT of the bus, you will get a better sleep there since the sun wont shine directly into your eyes.
Consider taking a blind fold.
Dont expect too much if you go one day.
Taking bike is a also a very good option. You can explore more in shorter time span.

This review is regarding the management staff. I have to thank them for taking my complaint seriously and being willing to improve the situation as well as deal with the tour guide. Hopefully, no one else will have the sort of experience I did again due to the diligence of the staff.

My friend and I took the 1 day Muir Woods and Wine tour. We were picked up on time at our hotel by our tour guide Caulder. As the vehicle was unmarked he called us to let us know he was there. The tour was both entertaining and educational. Even though we were guaranteed 3 wineries, he did his best to squeeze in a 4^th. He was super knowledgeable and helped by taking pictures of us, making recommendations and even making extra stops so we could get in good pictures. Caulder was very clear with his meet up instructions so that we stayed on time the entire time.
Our group was a lot of fun, we were able to see so many beautiful views and landscapes and had some incredible wine and a great wine lesson as well. I recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great day and a perfect getaway from the city.

Me and my wife took the 3 day camping tour in Yosemite. It was an awesome experience, with our tour guide Marie being a knowledgeable and most importantly very accommodating tour guide. Marie made sure that people with varied personalities had fun. Would recommend this tour to anyone who is looking to enjoy the beauty of Yosemite and meet some wonderful people.

Great trip for guests visiting from out of town!

I took the 3 day camping trip to Yosemite about 5 years ago. I absolutely loved it! It was a wonderful opportunity for a single person like me who had no experience or knowledge of camping. I would never have been able to experience Yosemite if it weren’t for Incredible adventures.
Now for the pros and cons:
Pros:
— Beautiful scenery
— affordable (food and pretty much anything else you need is generously provided)
— other campers on the trip were wonderful people (a lot of European tourists) who were friendly and helpful
— friendly and knowledgeable guide
cons:
–Campground was a little icky and VERY loud so bring water shoes and earplugs
— hikes were very long and tiring
— time in the van was often long
Despite the cons I would definitely do it again and I am looking forward to taking my daughter on this trip in the near future,

We did the Sonoma and Napa Winery Tour. We started by taking pictures on the San Fran side of the Golden Gate bridge. From there we headed up to our first winery Benzinger. We got a tour of the winery and some information on how they make their wines. Honestly, the guide at Benzinger should have his own PBS special. He was informative, funny, and had such a soothing voice. The vineyards were also stunning. Following the tour, we headed to their tasting room and enjoyed some wine. When we were finished, our driver Sterling was waiting with our lunches (which were pretty darn good by the way). From there we went to Imagery (Benzinger’s sister winery) and got to taste wines which are only sold on the premises not in retail stores. They also commission contemporary artists for the artwork on their bottles, so the place is also an art gallery. After finishing up at Imagery, we decided to visit Robert Mondavi as well as a sparkling wine winery. We had a great experience at each place and Sterling would check in on us to keep us on schedule, but he never made us feel rushed. His impeccable timing brought us to the Sausalito side of the Golden Gate bridge during sunset. We took some amazing pictures of the bridge and the sun setting over the Pacific.
I cannot say enough great things about the Incredible Adventures wine tour and our guide Sterling. Highly suggested!

Amazing trip to wine country. Small group of 6 picked up in San Fran started in Sonoma for vineyard tour followed by 2 tastings at bio-​dynamic wineries. We finished the afternoon in Napa Valley at three more wineries. $ 119 each person included the tasting at 3 of the vineyards. The tour is 8 – 10 hours and is perfect for a full Wine Country experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable. The price was Great for this tour. I’d definitely do it again.

You really can’t do Yosemite justice in one day, but God damnit if Mitch our tour guide didn’t give it his best shot. See all the highlights with an informative and entertaining tour guide, who does his best to provide you with all Yosemite has to offer in a comfortable and inviting way. Couldn’t recommend it higher! Thanks again Mitch!

Amazing 3 day camping trip! I highly recommend it! If you have time for the 3 day trip I would go that route because you see so much more of Yosemite and can do some great hikes. Incredible adventures took care of everything — well worth it!

My wife and I were excited to learn about this bio-​diesel fueled tour bus that took us from San Francisco to Muir Woods and Sonoma for a wine tasting adventure at select mostly boutique wineries. We packed our own picnic and after a morning trip to the beautiful Muir Woods, we ate lunch in Sonoma town square before continuing on to the wineries. Our favorite winery grew olives among the grapes, so during wine tasting we were also offered olive tastings. In addition, this same winery provided pieces of delicious dark chocolate.
We were the only locals on this trip, and enjoyed the diversity of the other couples on the tour.
Do it!

So far worst trip I’ve taken. Crappy rattletrap of a van. Inside of van covered with flies. People crammed in like sardines. Late to pick us up. Absolute waste of money. Recommended by concierge at the Fairmont. Trip so bad I won’t stay at the Fairmont again because they booked his trip for me. 2 more hours to go to get to Yosemite. Helllpppppp.

We went for the Muir Woods and Sonoma wine small bus tour on our last day in San Francisco. What a relaxing and enjoyable day!
Booking the trip was easy and quick. The tour picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off there when the day was done. Our guide even made extra effort to get us back in time for our tight schedule (we were catching the shuttle to our flight shortly after our return time and he made it without a problem). The bus was comfortable and not overcrowded. We really felt that we received special attention when we needed it.
Our tour guide was great — he was personable and knew the area really well. He answered all our questions and made great arrangements for our wine tour. The wineries were incredible, and one even featured a rather talented fellow who sang for us while we tasted! We got to taste from a good variety of wineries and enjoyed them all.
We went into the tour not liking white wine and thinking we’d only, maybe, buy one bottle of wine. In the end we ended up with a case from two different wineries and with a few bottles of white! Definitely worth going and trying new things!

We took the Yosemite one day tour while visiting San Francisco and it was definitely worth the long trip. Our tour guide was Mitch and he was fabulous. He was entertaining and kept the trip really fun. He remembered our names and was very down to earth. we felt we had plenty of time at Yosemite. The group is small and the ride is comfortable. Would definitely recommend this tour!

OK back when I was cursing at my guide, I made a promise that I’d write a review just so to save someone else from my misery, LOL so here we go…
Did the camping trip to the Yosemite, 3 days, 2 nights. Great concept, fantastic to meet and travel with a bunch of people, which we kept in touch with afterwards.
HOWEVER we got a very eer likable guy bringing us to great locations and making us cook great food… but he was worse a guide than I could be, and I’ve never been a guide… from a health and safety point of view, from a customer service point of view, just from a «minding a group of 15 very different people» point of view. One of us puked in the van on a couple of occasions because our «guide» was driving just as fast as he could in the narrow winding roads of Yosemite in the heat for over 2 hours without a stop… a couple of older and self-​diagnosed «not so fit» chaps had to take the initiative to turn back when we went on a challenging hike because our «guide» didn’t mention that we’d be walking from 11 until 5pm during the sun and have just a 1h ½ break, with no shade but with a bit of cool water if you fancy jumping off the top of a high rock and get into 5C water (if you hit the bottom of the lake, but the guide was nice enough to check that himself first, health and safety first you know…). And then for 2 days in a row had we challenging days physically, either rough van trips (the van was for 15 people max and we were 15 but I guess we were supposed to be size O to fit in properly, now we know how sardines feel) or the hikes were tough on people who are not used to be under the sun all day or walking all day, but back in the camp, we had to get straight into the cooking preparation, no time for rest. Didn’t know I had signed up for a thrill seeking bootcamp sort of trip.
I shall summarize this experience as great for meeting people and seeing the best of Yosemite that only few tourists would manage to do on their own, great fella to drive around, who knows loads about loads, Yosemite and beyond, who knows how to cook and manage a team of 15 apprentices but it was a hell of a rough trip where I never knew what kind of day was ahead of me and never felt like I am being asked for what I feel like doing (apart from half a day on the last day but choice is limited) and actually how I feel and however bad a few of us felt (physically and emotionally) was irrelevant because our «guide» had an agenda, which depended on his personal taste, and that was the end of it.

Do not go on this tour. We went on the Muir Woods/​Sonama tour. It’s $ 85 per person basically for just a driver. we had to pay for the Muir Woods entrance fee, wine tasting fees, and lunch for an all-​day tour!
In addition, the schedule/​timing of the stops was awful. We had 45 minutes for lunch in downtown Sonoma. We spent the first 10−15min trying to find a place that didn’t have a wait. Of course, by the time we sat down and ordered, our time was up. We had to buy our food, bring our food to go, and then eat it on a moving bus! This obviously wasn’t relaxing, convenient, or worthwhile.
To make matters worse, we had 1 – 1.5 hrs at the next winery. Tasting takes about 30minutes and we spent the rest of the time just waiting to go to the next stop. Obviously, it would make more sense to provide more time at lunch and less time at this winery.
I’m not one to write scathing reviews, but the value that we got from this was so poor that it would be an injustice not to forewarn other tourists and suggest they go with someone else (or even just to hire a limo service for the day).

So, you’re taking me on a wine tour, eh? Simple as I am, this already merits minimum of 3 stars.
I purchased the Freshguide deal for the trip to Napa/​Sonoma, and I do have to say that I had nothing but problems booking the trip. They said that they could only take 2 of these coupons per shuttle, or it would not be cost effective for them. Well, pals, you should have thought of that before you decided to expose yourselves to the world of cheap, predisposed-​to-​wine deal-​seekers via the bay-​area daily discount frenzy that is my e-​mail inbox. –2 stars, 1 for not foreseeing this possibility, and 1 for my expended frustration.
After NOT being able to go on the tour with our friends, we went by ourselves to our pick-​up location, Parc-​55 Hotel. The van was a few minutes late, but we are avid people-​watchers, so it wasn’t a big deal. No stars earned or lost.
First stop: Golden Gate Bridge. Never gets old. I love to do the touristy things. + 1 star. Back up to 2.
We stopped in Sonoma next, where we had 15 minutes to buy lunch and eat at Basque Boulangerie (highly recommended). +1 star.
We subsequently went to a few wineries, including B.R. Cohn (where I spent the majority of my time trying their house-​made olive oil… dreamy), Benzinger, and Imagery. They were cool, but I was bummed that our fee only included tastings at 2. I again was not made aware of this in the fine print of our Freshguide coupon, nor in any of the communications I had with the company after that. –1 star.
Lastly, our driver took us to Gloria Ferrer, where, despite having to pay for our own booze, we sat on the patio, overlooking a vine-​covered valley. It was quite beautiful (however, Gloria Ferrer employees have a negative Unilocal review coming… so what we came at 4:15 and you close at 5? YOU CLOSE AT 5!). No stars added or lost.
So to make up for all the commotion that went into this trip, I must say that our driver was good. He was friendly and knowledgable, and put up with a bunch of idiotic winos on the car ride home. Bump up to 3 stars for him. I’m glad that I took this trip on a discount coupon, because I don’t think that I’d pay full price for it.

The ignorant foreign traveler may not know that Indian Flats is a lousy place to spend any time way outside the park, when you could be sleeping in a $ 100/​night about Curry tent INSIDE YOSEMITE VALLEY, the grand, the spectacular even in mid/​late summer, the unflooded one and only!
I am glad they go to the best, the Mariposa Grove, instead of second rate Merced or Tuolumne Groves in YNP,
Are they certified /​bonded to ‘only’ use biodiesel flog-​it fuel?
But their cancellation policy is WAY HARSH: before 72hrs is MINUS 20%!!, and from 72 to 24hrs is 30%!!, and zero after that.

Of the seven campers on our recent three day Yosemite trip, only two were acquainted. Everyone was soon on a first name basis and Tom the guide and Jordan the guide trainee were fantastic. The camping, hiking, sightseeing and rare photographic opportunities combined with our dome climbs, search for the black bear (success) and the tall trees made for a most excellent experience. A big thumbs up tp Incredible Adventures. safely to home Kristy-​Lee, Jenny, Helen, Teresa, Jonny and Matt.

My partner and I spent a steep $ 156 for the Muir Woods/​Sonoma wine tour and were less than impressed to say the least. First of all, our driver named Tom was late picking us up at our hotel to begin the nightmare. Then, we were promised a trip to Muir Woods per the website for Bay City Tours that would last until noon; however, we were advised by our driver Tom to be back to our van by 11 am and make sure we eat something as we will be visiting 3 wineries in Sonoma County.
We felt rushed and were unable to cover at least half of the trails while at Muir Woods, and we were disappointed in the promise that was made to stay until noon, and felt we had to gobble down a cheese sandwich in order to return to the bus by 11 am, but we arrived on time.
After visiting the first winery, we returned to our shuttle promptly and actually were first to return to the van. Then, at the second winery held in the Sonoma square, Tom pulled into a parking lot and advised we had «an hour or so» to return to the van by 2:10 pm. The time was just after 1 pm. We visited two wineries, within the large square, and then realized it was about 10 after 2 pm, and were only halfway through sampling 3 out of 6 wines. My partner said she remembers Tom stating he was laid back and casual, and give or take 15 or so minutes, he would be fine with waiting for anyone, especially since we had returned early on the previous tours. However, it was not the case this time.
We returned to the parking lot and were appalled when the van had already left for the next winery. A woman asked if we were on the Incredible Adventures tour and said they had just left 10 minutes before, not half hour or «so» before, but 10 minutes. I promptly called the company and complained to Kyle who also had previously called me three days before the tour to ask if we dont mind picking another day to take this horrible tour, to which I replied, we could not as that is the only day we had available. Kyle stated he would call Tom and call us back.
He also already knew we had been left there in an unfamiliar place and said he would talk to Tom as this type of thing has never happened before, and have him pick us up within 15 minutes. Tom arrived 20 minutes later, and acted like nothing was wrong.
We went to the next winery, and got back to the van early once again, and were amazed at what happened next! Tom, did a special favor for a tourist (a cute, young woman from Boston) by taking her back to the original winery and leaving 10 or so people at the previous winery while we were in the van. I couldnt believe my eyes! This man who left us did a special favor for a woman who should have purchased wine while at the winery we had already visited, while leaving everyone else behind. I would NEVER EVER recommend this company to anyone. The only reason I gave this company even one star was due to the wineries we visited. The people who served us were knowledgeable, friendly, and had acknowledged our grief and horrible way we had been treated by saying this type of thing had never happened before.
Considering this tour was our first wine tour, it definitely left a bad taste in our mouth for wine tasting with this company. Our stay in San Francisco was awesome, but I would never recommend this company! We didnt get as much as an apology for our horrible, and very rude way we were treated! We also have been treated very very well and homophobia has not been an issue given all of the places we have visited while in San Francisco. All I can say is, our adventure was incredible allright, incredibly homophobic and disrespectful.
