Specialties
Hypnotherapy is best used short-term for goal oriented, resource building, along with reinforcing deep hypnosis using personalized, custom recordings, downloaded to your smart phone. I also specialize in teaching you self-hypnosis techniques.
My aim is to empower you to become more resourceful and self-reliant instead of creating more dependency with ongoing open-ended sessions which can be expensive in the long run.
Usually my sessions are two hours long, not including the free, half hour consultation and hypnotic screening. It is important to meet your hypnotherapist face to face before committing to work with them, since your rapport with them can affect your outcome.
History
Established in 1994.
I was a Mental Health counselor for 6 years before becoming a Hypnotherapist. During that time I developed low back pain and successfully used hypnosis to rid myself of the condition, and that made a believer out of me.

Ken S.
Business Owner
I practice hypnotherapy as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist with three decades of experience of self-healing modalities, starting with my study of G.I. Gurdjieff’s self-remembering technique back in 1979.
I graduated from San Francisco State University Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Drama. The «Way of the Actor» served as basis for intense psychological character study, professional vocal training, and focused stage presence.
From 1991 to 1997, I worked as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Counselor for several psychiatric half-way houses in SF, often teaching guided imagery for relaxation to mentally disabled adults and recovering drug addicts.
I went on to study with Randall Churchill and Marleen Mulder at the Hypnotherapy Training Institute, receiving his diploma in 1994. The scope of his practice includes Traditional and Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, NLP, Psychosynthesis, Gestalt Therapy, Dream Work, Holotropic Breathwork, and occasionally, Past Life Regression.
