Love the assortment if flavored drinks here. I always get the lavender latte and it has just the perfect amount of lavender aroma, sometimes too sweet but other than that I have no complaints. There also a coconut drink and other really enticing options. This is definitely not the place for a coffee snob to go to. But for an average coffee drinker, it’s a good spot to hit. The atmosphere is very clean and calm. Very good work area and there’s plenty of seating to study. The toasts here are also great! The actual bread is nicely toasted and I had mine with a pesto and fried egg. Delicious and seasoned just right!

Came here with a friend to study for the boards, and noticed that this is the place to be when you want to get things done, as everyone had their laptops out. There were many creative latte options, which made it difficult to choose. I decided on the lavender latte, and so glad I did! The lavender was strong, but not overpowering. I felt relaxed as I was drinking it, but in reality still had a lot of work to do. There was even lavender sprinkled on top of the foam, which was a nice touch. The baristas were friendly, and gave good recommendations. There’s toast and pastries as well, but I didn’t get a chance to try them. Will be back to try them next time in the Sunset!

A great coffee shop. They have an excellent selection of different lattes and teas. My personal favorites are the lavender latte, hazelnut latte, and the red velvet latte. All the lattes are unique in their own right. I’ve tried the egg toast as well as the condensed milk toast. I personally found both of a toasts were too sweet and had way too much butter on them. Thing I like most about this coffee shop is that it’s not very busy and very quiet. It’s a great place to come to do some work and read. The only knock I would have against this place is that the Barista was incredibly unhelpful and giving recommendations on what to order. I asked her what was in the red velvet latte, and she just told me that it was exactly how it was written up on the menu… When I ask for recommendations on the various types of toast she just told me that all of the toast or equally the same. Would be a little bit more helpful if she had some opinion.

Friendly staff, delicious food, and the best lavender latte I’ve ever had. I came with a friend at a relatively early time so there was no rush and it wasn’t noisy. My friend tried the condensed milk toast(no picture sadly) while I had the savory to at with the fried egg. And yes the egg is necessary. It was surprisingly filling with my lavender late, and if it were closer to my house I would probably come every weekend to read a book, study, or just to get out of the house and people-watch. Maybe next time I’ll also drop by twisted donuts for dessert(always room for dessert no matter how full)!

First of all, I adore the décor of this coffee shop. I would really love one of those wooden shelves in my room. Having said that, this place does really give off a homey vibe. If I lived closer, I’d probably be here every week. I didn’t get a chance to try any of their toasts yet because I stopped by around 8am before work and their kitchen doesn’t start until 9am, but I did order a drink and it was delicious! The lavender latte caught my eye at first, but I’m cutting down on the caffeine and they didn’t have decaf so the woman working pointed out a perfect drink for me — lavender jasmine tea latte. Amazing. It even had real lavender sprinkled on the top of the foam! I also picked up an almond croissant, which was pretty good. They have a diverse selection of lattes and pastries, but I really want to try their toasts! Definitely will be back.

Omg I fell in love with this place. Everything about it is so cute… the décor, the latte art, down to the little plants at every table. Came here with a friend around 2 today. It seems like people come here just to get stuff done rather than just hanging out. Lots of people brought their laptops and were just working away. I would say tables are first come first serve. Parking — not bad. There is metered parking as well as residential parking if you are willing to walk a little more. Service — good! They were nice and very patient with my indecisive self. Drinks — 1. Red velvet latte — it tastes as good as it looks! Nice hint of chocolate but not overpoweringly sweet. Just enough so the coffee isn’t too bitter. 2. Lavender latte — I didn’t get to try this myself but my friend is a fan of it. Definitely will be back!

I don’t normally sit down at cafes, more of a grab-it-to-go type of girl, but Home definitely feels like home. The first time I came here with two other friends because we needed a place with WiFi to do some research and planning for one of our trips. We ordered one of their savory toasts(I think it had bacon and corn in it) and also I got the holy cow(condensed milk latte). Both items were DELICIOUS! This is definitely a great place to get some stuff done while enjoying a cup of coffee. Also, I love their staff here! I’ve had extremely pleasant encounters every time.

I’ve Been wanting to come try out this place and I finally did on my day off. We got there around 11:30am and the place was packed, but some people were leaving and we were able to get a table pretty fast. You can grab a table and order your food and drinks, it is a self served place. The staff is really friendly and nice. They offered a variety of both hot and cold drinks. I ordered a iced matcha latte with soy milk since I’m not a coffee fan. They asked if I wanted less sweet, regular or extra sweet. I got it with regular sweet and it was not overly sweet and had a nice matcha taste. My cousin and friend order the hazelnut latte and coconut latte. We also order their toasts: the cinnamon sugar toast, the tomato, truffle oil pesto toast, and also the egg in a basket toast(add extra bacon crumbles $ 1.25) please! Everything tasted really good and it was quite filling. Definitely coming back to try their condensed milk toast and corn/bacon toast(the corn/bacon toast is only available on the weekend)

Tables are first come, first serve and you pickup your drinks at the counter. My sister and I had the red velvet and chocolate mint latte which was not bad but pretty! I liked the chocolate mint better because it was sweeter and less coffee tasting. We also had the tomatoes, cheese and pesto food item and the eggs in a basket. The eggs in a basket was simple and too salty so I won’t be ordering that again but the tomatoes and pesto was not bad. Something I can make at home but the bread was well toasted and soft inside. Nice place to get your studying on as well.

Stopped by here for a quick coffee and toast on a rainy morning and I was very pleased with my experience! I ordered a lavender latte with an egg toast. The service was great and the ambiance was nice and calm. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because the egg toast was a bit too oily for me. The butter drenched throughout the entire toast and some parts were just too heavy to eat. On the other hand, my lavender latte was lovely and I could seriously drink one of those everyday!

I wanted to come here to try their toast but they were sold out when I got there. So if you wanna try it, don’t get there before closing. The décor is so cute and cozy! The girl at the counter was super sweet! 5 stars for their service! I ordered the London fog which is an earl grey tea latte. I added some sweetener because it wasn’t sweet enough for me. I’d rather have the option to add sweetener versus it being to sweet. I’ll be back to try their toast!

Ahhh I’m home! This place is a great addition to the outer sunset along with the one up bar, which I believe they’re owned by the same people(i could be wrong though). Unfortunately I’m not someone that goes to coffee shops and spends countless hours there, however the fact that people do that here is pretty cool, it’s always packed with people either working or studying. As far as their drinks/coffee goes it’s truly great, I’ve come here countless times and I really like their matcha green tea latte, also their Ethiopian blend coffee is pretty delicious as well. They also do have toasts snacks, I have had their eggs in a basket before which is good, however I’m just not a big fan of it. All in all this is definitely a much better alternative to Starbucks or most coffee shops, oh and btw they offer free Wi-Fi. Sweet!!!

THE cutest coffee shop I’ve ever been to! The atmosphere and ambiance really does make it seem like home(although my home looks nothing like it). The lights that dangle across the booth seats make the whole place soooo cozy! And how can I forget about the succulent plants on each table?! The plants give this place life! They have quite an extensive menu for their creative coffees. It was extremely hard to choose what to try because everything looked SO good. I opted for the holy cow, a condensed milk latte, so the BF(not a coffee drinker, LAME) and I can share. I snapped a photo of my drink and the barista told me to come back when it’s not too busy so she can make me a prettier drink! Don’t worry barista, I’ll be back for your famous toast and your other delicious drinks.

Cozy, neighborhood spot. Nutella hot chocolate — so yummy and not too sweet. Perfect on a chilly morning. Condensed milk toast — so good I almost at the whole thing — mmmmm

Home is a trendy and cozy café that can truly become anyone’s home! This is only my second visit here since I live in Philly, but it’s a must see location each time I’m back in the Bay Area. While I wouldn’t recommend their iced teas, their wide array of teas and lattes are sure to satisfy your drink needs. My personal favorite is their condensed milk french toast, because who doesn’t like condensed milk?! The french toast is slathered with creamy and fresh condensed milk, with the top slightly torched for a crispy edge. More than just the food and comfortable location with loads of table space, their customer service is on point. While being patient with my million requests for more water, the staff was kind and took the time to remember my name. As far as cafes go, there’s no place like home! Best Menu Items! + condensed milk french toast + hot teas — iced tea

Came by for a mocha the other day and the service by the staff was good. The mocha came out with decent latte art. Requested the drink half as sweet and the mocha was delicious. Café us comfortable to sit and get some work done. $ 4.5 for the mocha. Credit cards accepted with $ 5+ or a $.5 surcharge.

Cute and cozy café! I came here a couple of times when they first opened, and it’s wonderful to see how successful this place has gotten. They have gotten more tables and seating and I’ve noticed they even hired more staffing to help out with the increasing business. The owners are also a very sweet, welcoming and friendly couple! The menu is creatively hung on the left side of the wall upon entering. The non-coffee drinks are on the left of the wall, and the coffee menu is on the right towards the cashier. I’ve enjoyed the coconut vanilla latte(although they could have been more lighter on the sweetness, it was delicious), the matcha green tea latte and the holy cow latte(condensed milk!). I personally would have to pass on the salted caramel latte and London fog latte(earl grey with vanilla). Of the two thick toasts(Condensed milk toast and Tomato, truffle oil & pesto toast) that I’ve tried, they were both absolutely delicious! The condensed milk toast was buttery, sweet and creamy. The tomato, truffle oil & pesto toast was flavorful, had great texture and also buttery! I would order those two again as well as look forward to trying the others. With increasing business, getting a table may be hard depending on what day and time you go, so just be mindful about that! This place has free wifi and I believe they have outlets near almost every table. It’s a great place to study, get some work done or simply catch up with a friend or loved one!

I’m in love. First time here yesterday because I was in dire need of caffeine, and Home café really hit the spot. Very modern décor and packed with students, so it’s a great place to study and grab a bite. I tried: Lavender Latte: $ 4.50 Hazelnut Latte: $ 4.25 I highly highly recommend both!!! I got the lavender latte for myself(hot) and it was love at first sip– beautifully presented and tasty. I got my friend the hazelnut latte iced(can order hot or cold) and I was in love as well. Let’s just say I had two drinks in my hand for a while… Couldn’t decide which I liked better! The service was great. The cashier was very nice and made great recommendations. I would definitely come back. Maybe today!

I’ve been meaning to come here for the longest time! I woke up early one morning and arrived at about 8:30am! Luckily I snagged a nice seat, because an hour later almost every table was filled. Friendly staff who came to check up on me a couple times to make sure everything was okay. Drinks are about $ 4 – 5. I got the coconut vanilla latte! Apparently, it’s their number one drink. As someone who isn’t a fan of coconut. I actually loved loved this drink. Plus, there was just enough of caffeine to keep me wired for my 3 – 4 hour study sesh. Home is a great study environment with tons of outlets and tables. Also, parking isn’t much of a problem. There’s free parking in the residential area! Plus, their music is on point! Laid-back, feel-good music ranging from Jason Mraz to Boys 2 Men. I’ll be back, Home!

When going to a coffee shop to do homework, I look for 4 things: drinks, food, space, and outlets. Home is exactly that! It’s spacious and has a lot of outlets, which is a PLUSSS. Aside from the interior, the drinks here are very good as well, and I love the different drink options that they offer. My favorite here is the coconut vanilla latte! The toasts that Home offers is delicious as well, from sweet to savory toast depending on whateva ya feel like eating. Home really feels home-y OoOoo & i forgot to mention, friendly staff & a poppin’ playlist
