Hire Me 101 – Executive & IT Resume Writer

From the start Milly made her process very clear, and laid out the timeline for creation of a resume. Initially, it was helpful to provide her with documentation like prior performance reviews, current job description, and several ‘ideal’ positions. She then created a personal questionnaire, and when it was returned she went to work.
The initial resume was right on track, and after that initial resume is delivered she allows the customer to make two edits… the first one allowed to be a bit more extensive than the second, as by that point if you’ve done your work it should be ready.
Using online ATS tools, I was able to put through the resume against on of the job descriptions, and it came back with a very good rating for the resume. Excellent inclusion of hard skills and none of the fluff that writing your own resume tends to include.
Milly helpfully provided a few other tools, and I recommend going the extra step and allowing her to work on your LinkedIn profile (and not just because LinkedIn is so counterintuitive!)
I’d definitely recommend her service… but do know that it can take a month or two to work through the process. In the end you get great results if you’ve put in your effort… she’ll have put in hers.

I am very stunned… I’m horrible at writing and Milly portrayed everything about my background in the most positive way which I had a hard time conveying myself. You know your accomplishments but her questions was a great thinking exercise that made me dig deeper into what I’ve done.

If price is more important to you than quality, then she is not for you. I learned my lesson the first time I hired a different resume writer but the quality was lacking.

I was looking for someone with a background with the federal jobs, and she was up front and told me that she wasn’t going to be able to help me; although, how many people do you find that even when they didnt benefit from you as a customer, and yet still actively tries to research on their end for someone for me that fits my needs. To start off, job searching is a pain and resume writing is tedious. Now we’re in a new generation where LinkedIn is a must and who really knows how to use that effectively? I was excited to write another review about Milly since I am a long-​time client. But then I was saddened to see a 1-​star rating posted from another reviewer. As a loyal customer for several years now, I think I have the freedom and right to defend her work.
Since she last helped me in 2010, I have come back to her a few times to update and add new achievements to the resume she first created (which got me noticed for interviews by the way). Her attention to writing detail is evident when you’re fortunate enough to work with her.
What confuses me about «Tati R“s criticism is that he/​she says this service is a scam, but if you read the owner’s comments, it states that Milly encouraged that person to find other sources more local to their needs… How do you claim a business to be a scam when you weren’t scammed…
Unilocal seriously needs to limit their rules to only actual PAYING CUSTOMERS, especially with a small business.

After reading all great reviews I went to look at the company’s website. I called the 1800 phone number several times and no one ever answered the phone. I emailed Milly per the website instructions with a copy of my current resume and telling her I wanted to switch industries. I told her which industry I was interested and asked for more information on how she worked. Over 24 hours later she replied with a lengthy email that I could clearly tell it was copied/​pasted there. The email said payment would be required upfront to secure my spot since she had many clients already waiting for their resumes. I asked her if I could talk to her over the phone, after all I didn’t feel comfortable making a large payment via pay pal to someone I never even spoke on the phone. Her response was that she doesn’t conduct phone consultations and that she works from home while taking care of her children which would make it difficult to talk. (???).
I told her I didnt need a full on consultation, I just wanted to be rest assured I was talking to a real person, afterall there are so many scams out there online… Needless to say she never got back to me! Why are all the reviews perfect? It’s impossible that not ONE CLIENT of hers was dissatisfied with her service. I doubt all those reviews are legit reviews of people who used her services!
1– No office that people can visit
2– Her phone number doesn’t have an area code
3– Refuses to talk on the phone
4– When pressed to talk on the phone, says she works from home while taking care of her children when her actual website she claims this to be her full time occupation.
5– Only accepts PAY PAL– Easiest way to scam someone.
BEWARE WHEN SENDING MONEY TO SOMEONE YOU NEVER TALKED ON THE PHONE OR HAVE NO REAL REFERNECES. Stay away from this!

I think Milly has done an outstanding job from start to finish through the whole process of totally revamping my resume. My old resume had an old format and she took what I had, and totally renovated it with a modern look. What I really like about the whole process was the fact that Milly kept me up to date as far as her progress. It should be noted that her work with the cover letter is just as outstanding. Overall I’m very happy and impressed and I would not hesitate in recommending Milly for help with your resume.

I was frustrated with my previous cover letter/​resume because even though I thought I did a good job on writing it, I never received an e-​mail/​call back from an employer. I decided to do research and found out about Milly and her Her Me 101 Resume Service. I knew my skill set and what I was good with, but wasn’t quite able to quantify it in a way that would attract callbacks. This is where Milly steps in. Although it may take awhile for her to get you the finished product, it’s worth the wait. I’ve actually received hits from potential employers on my LinkedIn profile and I actually receive e-​mails and callbacks when I e-​mail my cover letter/​resume to job postings. Simply put, Milly does a nice way of gathering all your work experience and putting it in a very attractive, concise, presentable manner. 1) Price is extremely competitive, much lower than many other resume writing services out there (and I shopped around).
2) Service is excellent. Resume was completed in less than the 10 days advertised. Also, Milly responded quickly to requests for corrections (see #4 below).
3) Quality and visual appeal of product is very good. I got a PDF and a Word version of the resume. Recommend using the PDF if possible when uploading online.
4) Only negative– a couple of mistakes on the initial product, and some of her phrasing on the cover letter that I also purchased was slightly confusing. HOWEVER– Milly was quick to respond to (and correct) my concerns.
Overall– Recommended; good value for the price paid.

When Milly sent my revised resume back to me, I think I stared at it for 30 long minutes… I was just in awe.
For the price that I paid, I was expecting only decent quality, but Milly is phenomenal! She doesn’t just input an objective and some bullets here and there… She completely re-​builds your resume in a full-​on business layout with a dose of creativity to make it totally attractive. I also was only expecting decent service, but she is so nice and was prompt with her email responses.
Of course, like everyone here said, her main form of contact is through e-​mail to keep her rates affordable. So you have to be open-​minded with her process since consultations are not included. Despite that, she still did a great job. A definite must for your resume needs.

Wow… I can’t believe I paid such an amazing price for an amazing resume. I am a picky person, and Milly was very patient with me and answered all of my questions. She usually communicates by email to preserve her low prices and that works perfectly for me… whatever I can do to save me money!
