Higa & Gipson, LLP is a boutique law firm located in San Francisco, California.

James Y. Higa is one of the founding Partners of Higa & Gipson, LLP and he heads the Criminal Defense practice. Mr. Higa’s practice encompasses criminal trials and civil litigation. Mr. Higa was previously a Deputy Public Defender with the City & County of San Francisco before broadening his practice with civil trial work. Mr. Higa’s experience includes represention of government entities defending civil rights violation claims; premises liability claims; and motor carriers in serious injury and wrongful death claims arising from catastrophic accidents.

Ronnie R. Gipson Jr. is one of the founding Partners of Higa & Gipson, LLP and heads the Business & Aviation practices. Mr. Gipson’s experience includes representation of companies in commercial general litigation; business entity formation and consultaion, as well as copyright/​trademark infringement representation.
