Happy Moose Juice

Excellent juices served in reusable glass bottles (you can return them for $ 2 or turn them into a delightful arts & crafts project featuring sea monkeys) that they cold press daily. They’re in Range bar — so don’t expect street signage. The owners are friendly and helpful and it’s a bonus to get a good product from a small, local business. I’m a fan of Kale Earnhardt and Strawberry Fields. Chard Knock Life is pretty damn good as well. Give this place a shot.

I’d been anxious to try this place all week, as soon as I found out about it through my work. I went with a friend and sampled a few of the drinks. I ordered a shot of Liquid Luck and a tall Tropical Roots; she ordered a half shot of Feel Mo’ Betta cut with green algae and a Strawberry Fields shorty. My friend stated that after the shot, she felt her sinuses clear up and that it «worked better than allergy medication,» so she purchased another full shot to take home.
Overall, this was a wonderful experience! I was telling my friend that it’s almost good that HMJ is open three days a week, or I’d stop by constantly! Plus it’s a treat I can now look forward to at the end of the week! They have a great assortment of drinks that appeal to different savory palettes, from sweet, sour, spicy, etc! You’ll have to come by yourself to try all the juices out. Also, some of their juices are seasonal, so keep your eyes peeled!
P. S. The bar maiden working behind the counter was wonderful too. Such a sweetheart.

I am a fan! Minus one star for the price point. Can’t tell if the bottle is 16oz or 17+ oz. Good tasty fresh juice.

I’ve been eyeing this place on Unilocal for a while because it sounds delicious and it looks cute!
I waned to come here on a Thursday but got busy and couldn’t make the trip! But good thing I didn’t because I noticed that they’re only open Friday’s-Sunday’s. I’m also glad that I read that it was located inside of another location (Range Restaurant) or else I would have been lost and walked around everywhere.
Came here on a rainy Friday. Glad I made the trip. I walked in and kind of already knew I wanted the strawberry fields. I got a sample of it and decided to get it. It had Carrot, Orange, Strawberries, Beets and Ginger. Everything tastes really fresh and by the ingredients, it just sounds healthy.
I like the cute bottle that it comes in. You pay a deposit and get your deposit back if you bring the bottle back. I like that they’re doing that. The lid was leaking a bit so when I was carrying, I had to make sure I was carrying it up right. It was hard when I had it in the water bottle spot of my backpack. Just had to make sure my backpack was upright too!
I’d definitely love to come back and try out some of their other flavors :) the names of all the juices on the menu are really cute too!

Love the freshness of the produce, love the service! But specially love the way I feel every time I drink my special green juice! :)

I notice some pictures on Unilocal showing it’s at Range restaurant, but when we got there, it wasn’t there. This time we came back on a Sunday and magically they’re there.
Try some of their juices and ended up getting the Tropical Roots ($ 6) and Beet It ($ 7). It was refreshing and healthy. I would like to try the Chard Knock Life next…

Great customer service! Free samples of as many as you’d like and they were all so good! Staff is very informative of the benefits of each juice. I bought one and sent my husband for more the next day. Must try! Will definitely return for their amazing service and delicious juices!

I’m a big fan of Happy Moose, really like their variety of green juices. On mornings when I’m feeling the need to cleanse my system I like the small shot of the Feel Mo Betta, lemon, ginger, cayenne. On other days I get one of their refreshing green juices. You can get samples as well so you can find a juice to your taste.
One star off because the menu states the shots are $ 2 and I was charged $ 5 for mine. Hopefully this must have just been an honest mistake but the mini shot cost me double and I didn’t realize until I saw it on my card a few days later. $ 5 plus tip for a mini shot is a bit high.
Overall, a great place for a juice.

I have a wellness shot problem. It’s getting serious. My cabinet at work is full of granola, daytime cold medicine, allergy medicine, snacks, AND LITTLE GLASS BOTTLES FROM HAPPY MOOSE.
I haven’t gotten TOO sick this winter *knocks on wood* but I have been fighting it really well. Each time I feel a cold starting to take over, I have a Feel Mo Betta shot from Happy Moose.
It packs a whopping punch and really does kick that cold’s arse before it can conquer me. I’ve tried similar wellness shots from other joints (Juice Shop, Project Juice) and theirs just don’t taste as good. Happy Moose’s combo of ginger, lemon, apple cider vinegar and cayenne has the perfect amount of kick.
About to take one right now, and add to my collection of little glass bottles.

HMJ is the best quality juice I’ve ever tasted, hands down. This stuff is so fresh and makes me feel amazing. You do have to pay a $ 2 bottle deposit, but you get it back, or you can keep the cute bottle for DIY crafts.
I’m obsessed with the Kale Earnhardt. You know those Mondays when you’ve just come back from a 3-​day music festival and are at your desk sweating out a disgusting hangover and thinking about how badly you want to surf then run then yoga after work but couldn’t possibly be healthy enough? Drink a kale and behold. Athletic goddess.

We’ve recently started getting Happy Moose Juice delivered to our office and it is flying off our refrigerator shelf! People can’t get enough of it.
I’ve personally been a huge fan of Happy Moose for a while and since my office was looking to diversify our snack/​drink options, I suggested we look into Happy Moose as a healthy and delicious choice.
After we contacted them, they came into the office and set up a tasting to introduce the juice to everyone and get a sense of people’s flavor preferences. We then worked out our order details, and our juice was delivered the next week. Right now they deliver our juice once a week, and I can already tell we’re going to need to increase our order because it’s so popular!
Throughout the process, everyone at Happy Moose has been extremely professional, friendly, and flexible, working with us to find the right mix of flavors and the correct amount of juice to order. Feels good to be drinking something so delicious and to be supporting local business.

I’ve had almost all their summer /​fall juices, and can’t get enough. I find myself excitedly waiting for their next flavors and am sure I’ll try them all. Super easy to grab on walks in /​around the mission.
You know when they’re serving out of a place like Range, it’s going to be quality, but this is unbelievably delicious and fresh. A much better alternative to sodas and coffee, in super cute bottles.

This juice revolution is something I’m not very fond of, but it’s a great way to eat/​drink healthy.
Happy Moose actually shares a space with an existing bar, so you may miss it. I walked in and was helped out immediately by a girl with short hair & glasses (I’m so sorry I forgot to ask your name). Not knowing what I wanted, I asked for recommendations (most popular, least vegetable-​y tasting, their favorite) & was promptly given the details about the juices.
There’s just something about the taste of vegetables in a juice that I can’t stand, & she gave me great recommendations as to which ones were probably the fruitiest. One of the best things about this place is probably the fact that you can try it before you buy it. I ended up trying out the Strawberry Fields & the Refresh and So Clean, Clean, which were both seasonal. I ended up getting a small bottle of the Refresh and So Clean, Clean, because I love refreshing drinks & because I’m a sucker for musical references (OutKast).
Tip (s): Located right on Valencia Street, make sure you keep an eye out for it! Parking sucks due to the fact it’s in a busy area & everything is metered.

This is a little pop-​up inside Range Restaurant that serves cold pressed juice during the day. Juices are served in glass bottles, with small bottles at 8 oz and large bottles at 16 oz. There’s a bottle deposit at $ 2, and you can bring the bottle back so it’s a better deal for you each time!
Servers are also great and offer samples! So, sample away and you’ll definitely find something you like! If you’re not into juice, they also offer almond milk options! I sampled both almond milk options– nice and creamy!
They also do juice cleanses and shots. I’ve sampled a bunch of their items– and have ordered Strawberry Fields (carrot, orange, strawberry, ginger) and Tropical Roots (pineapple, carrots, ginger, turmeric). Both tasted super fresh and were amazing after my ridiculously hot yoga session. This place would be perfect for dropping by after yoga class for a quick, refreshing pick-​me-​up!
With the funny juice names, fresh juice, and awesome servers, I’ll definitely be back!

Fresh. Delicious. Tried them at their main place off of Valencia. Then saw their stand at Presidio (a food truck event) and just couldn’t pass them up!

Serves Juice during the day and alcohol at night! Sever was very friendly and offer us samples before committing to a drink. Juices taste fresh but not made at the location. Large bottles have a $ 2 deposit and small bottles don’t but over all the larger bottle is a better deal.

WHEW! That’s fresh! Not many establishment can serve one single product like juice, make it delicious, AND be successful at it. I mean, seriously guys, I had REGULAR ORANGE JUICE or whatever citrus it is they put in it, and I’m writing a five star review!
Am I insane? No… I’m not. This is really good juice! The awesome mad scientist glass bottles they give you should be more than enough reason to be a regular here.

I love me some Happy Moose Juice!
Not only is the name super cute, but they are an entirely organic juice company with reusable, eco-​friendly glass bottles. They offer samples of their liquid loveliness, although I never accept their offer to taste before I buy. I just scan the menu and bravely select what sounds best, risking it all, because I just live dangerously like that.
My favorites so far have been the Chard Knock Life (swiss chard, pear, orange, spinach, ginger, lime) and Beet It (carrot, beet, celery, apple, lemon, ginger). I can’t wait to try every juice on the menu, since they all sound so wonderful. Ryan, one of the co-​founders, is super nice and a total gentleman.
If you’re into cold-​pressed juices, I think you will like this little pop-​up. Their hours are quite limited, but I highly recommend giving them a shot. I’m not the type to cleanse (unless it’s a taco cleanse, ha!), but if that’s what you’re into, this would be a great place for your 6-​juice-​a-​day needs.

I walked past Happy Moose on my way to brunch and couldn’t wait to double back for some juice. Unfortunately Unilocal said that the shop was only open to 3. How was that possible? People want juice at all hours of the day. It wasn’t until I stopped by the next day did I realize they were a pop up shop inside a restaurant.
They do a great job converting the space into a juice bar. All of the juices are only stored at the restaurant and not actually pressed there. We were both feeling a little under the weather and the bartender (?) recommended a lemon shot. We chased the tart and spicy shooter with some grapefruit juice, and as weird as it is, I could’ve sworn I instantly got more energy. We weren’t planning to be back during the weekend, so we opted out of the returnable bottle and got our final selection in a to-​go cup.
The juice itself is good, but I think the positives from the experience came from the service. She let us sample to our heart’s desire and didn’t pressure us to make a decision. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Happy Moose will seriously make you truly happy. Yes the name says it all about this place! Actually no it doesn’t there is more to Happy Moose Juice than you think. This cold pressed fresh juice is one of the best that I have tried so far. I love the list of juices that they have and the cute names that they came up with.
I really wished I could live in San Francisco so I could get this juice everyday. I totally forgot her name that was working on the day that I went but she was super nice and informative of each and every question that I had.
My favorite thing was the kicker ginger cayenne shot. I love ginger and this tasted so pure and fresh!
Also the chard knock life tasted pretty healthy and clean. If you aren’t sure of any of the juices you can ask them for a free sample to try it before you get it!
