Happily Ever After

Cindy is an amazing coordinator/​communicator/​point-​person/​everything. We booked Cindy sometime over a year before a wedding after accidentally stumbling upon her on Google by complete chance. It was the best mistake my wife and I ever made.
The package we got from Cindy was her «month-​of,» but let me tell you, it’s more like «from booking to the day after your wedding.» Cindy is attentive, kind, and firm (very important quality when it comes to the big day) when it comes to planning your wedding.
My wife and I have never planned a wedding, let alone a party for over 30 people. Cindy mapped it out from start to finish and walked with us every step of the way. Words cannot express how thankful I am for Cindy and how much stress and heartache she saved us. Instead of the usual infighting couples deal with when planning a wedding, Cindy kept us informed, focused, and relaxed so my wife and I could enjoy the journey, and most importantly each other.
She even helps your plan your honeymoon if you’d like. She provides the whole nine yards: spread sheets, calendars, contact books, vendor lists, everything. While it seems daunting, it is a very simple process. We literally used everything she provided. No wasted paper.
I only have 2 regrets:
(1) I regret that Cindy provides a service you only really use once. If getting married was a yearly thing, Happily Ever After would be booked every single time.
(2) I cannot give her more than 5-​stars.
In Cindy, you get a great wedding coordinator who not is only good at what she does, but cares.
We’re very happy to finally stop calling her our «coordinator,» and now, a «friend.»

Stumbling upon Cindy and Oliver was definitely meant to be. My friend had referred me to a different photographer, but I couldn’t remember her name, so I just Googled something that sounded similar. Lo and behold, this guy named Oliver Dumlao of Verstyle Photography popped up.
When I first started looking for vendors, I would always check out their «About Me» page or scout for things that would give me an idea about their personalities. I mean, what good is an amazing vendor if you don’t get along with them?
I saw that Oliver was a Bboy, so I knew he probably had a good taste in music, etc. Looking through his page, I saw a link for «Happily Ever After…» and wondered what that was about.
Boom. Happily Ever After SF. Of course, I jumped right into Cindy’s About Me and fell in love. Haha. When I saw «OCD», I knew I had to book her. Honorary Maid of Honor for sure. On top of that, she went to UC Berkeley, so I knew she had to be good.
We met with her and Oliver and they really made the effort to get to know us and see what we wanted for our ideal wedding. I had all of these ideas — Pinterest (*blessing and a curse), and Cindy was able to fine tune them and made them work. She kept us on track with EVERYTHING — time frames, schedules, and gave us her ideas here and there — ALL without being pushy and without bumping heads with me. I don’t know if we would’ve made it without these two amazing people. Everyone kept saying that our wedding was the first on-​time wedding they had ever been to.
If you want someone who can get the job done, someone who is organized, friendly, responsible, smart, and easy to work with, hire her. She’ll keep you on track, and more importantly, sane.
Vendors turned friends? Hope so.
One of my bridesmaids is already booking her, so book her quick.
They are worth every penny and more.

Cindy was so awesome! We hired her as a day of coordinator for our wedding in August, located in Sonoma County. She was so helpful from the moment that we hired her, she was always available for questions about the other vendors, or the wedding in general. She was always friendly, prefessional and responded very quickly to emails. Cindy helped keep me on track with planning every step of the way. Her spreadsheets and other attachements that she sent made everything much easier. Cindy directed our rehearsal the day before the wedding, she was very professional and helped make sure everyone knew there place and part during the ceremony. On the day of the wedding, she was great made sure everything ran smoothly, she took care of the vendors and made sure that everything was on schedule. My family was very happy that she was there to coordinate, they didn’t have to worry about anything because of her. Everything turned out beautiful and better than I could have dream of. I didn’t worry about anything with Cindy as my coordinator. I would definitely hire Cindy again to help plan another event. She was very organized, professional, and a delight to working with. She was worth every penny we paid her and more! Thank you very for everything Cindy!

My fiancé and I hired Cindy for our wedding and could not be happier with the service she provided. We had a traditional Hindu ceremony with a ton of moving parts and really needed someone to help us stay on track. Although we were a little hesitant at first about hiring someone who had never coordinated an Indian wedding, we felt very reassured after our first meeting with Cindy. She was very professional, organized, and made us feel taken care of throughout the entire planning process.
My fiancé and I did our best to prepare to make Cindy’s job easy as possible, but like most weddings, things went wrong. Cindy was well-​organized and prepared and was able to handle everything gracefully. There were a few problems with our vendors, but my fiancé and I were not even aware of the problems until the next day. Cindy really shielded us from the havoc that was occurring and did such an awesome job to make our day extra special.
Cindy not only works very hard at what she does, but also made it a point to create a relationship with us as well. My fiancé and I felt so happy to have her a part of our wedding day that we were sad when we had to say goodbye. You know you’ve hired someone special when you’re able to create a friendship with them as well.
Our family and friends were also very impressed by Cindy’s diligence and dedication to our event. She went above and beyond what we had asked of her and she succeeded in making our day memorable. With that said, I would recommend Cindy to anyone looking for a coordinator. Her outstanding attention to detail and level of organization will make any event a success. Overall she is an awesome person in general and you won’t regret hiring her!

Cindy is amazing!!! I hired her as my day of coordinator (but she was so much more than just that) and she exceeded my expectations. Cindy went above and beyond by even helping my vendors the day after my wedding retrieve their equipment. My wedding was amazing and Cindy made my vision totally come alive. I showed her how I wanted things setup and she did it perfectly and somethings even better than my original idea. Throughout the planning process she was very responsive to my emails and I never felt like I was just another client. Cindy actually cared about my wedding and wanted it to be perfect just as much as I did. When hiring a planner you want to feel comfortable that they are capable and will take the necessary steps to bring your vision to life. I have nothing but great things to say about Cindy and I’m actually going to really miss working her, she’s a gem.

I hired Cindy as my day-​of coordinator. I was a DIY-​bride and I have most of my vendors already. I was debating to hire or not to hire a planner. But good thing I did, and I had no regrets in hiring Cindy. Couple months prior to my wedding, I was asking her on what needs to be done. (In short, I was almost harassing her being the control freak that I am.) But she told me that she will email be few weeks before the wedding and assured me that I was still on track. And true to that, we were emailing two to three times a day or more as the day draws nearer. She is very good in answering all your questions and she replies very quick. I always ask her for suggestions, for anything. (good thing she didn’t ditch me.) Cindy is very organized, her timelines and schematics are very clear and personalized. And on my wedding day, though a lot of things weren’t as planned, she was able to fix it. My husband was very particular about the fact that she did not tell us right up what was wrong and just fixed it herself because she wants us to enjoy our day. Our guests admired our program and how organized it was. Thanks to Cindy. So, if you are looking for a planner and would like a stress-​free wedding, I highly recommend Cindy! You get MORE than what you paid for. She is simply the best!

Cindy was our wonderful coordinator for our wedding on May 21, 2011. Even though we hired her as a day-​of coordinator, she did more than that. She met with me a few times, went to a site meeting with me and met w/​my hotel contact and was available ²⁴⁄₇ via email. She went above and beyond her day-​of duties. She contacted my vendors months prior to the event and scheduled the day of timing with them. On the big day, I didn’t have to worry about anything and everything went smoothly. Afterwards, she even met up with me to get my feedback and gave me details to the things that I have missed. For example, the Photobooth attendant had the wrong event logo on our picture layout but luckily, Cindy noticed it and had them fix it before guests used the booth. Due to her attention to details, things didn’t go wrong. I highly recommend her for your event. She will pay attention to the details and make sure everything is perfect. She made me a stress-​free bride on my big day and that’s what every bride needs after a year of planning! I highly recommend Cindy!
