I offer therapy for adults, for teenagers, and for couples, including those considering marriage. Please check out my website for details on my approach and expertise.
My practice focuses mainly on relational therapy with a psychodynamic base and incorporates my training in behavioral therapies. I listen carefully to discover patterns which may be perpetuating problems, offering empathetic support and developing an authentic connection with my clients. However, I’m not afraid to challenge them, and my action-oriented and dynamic approach is designed to move along the growth process through practical, applicable lessons with a direct tie to everyday life.
Contact me for a free 15 minute consultation over Skype or by phone. I offer some sliding scale appointments.

Being a therapist is much more than a profession and I can’t imagine doing anything else. I love everything related to psychology; I’m always learning about how the mind works, how we can become more self-aware, and how we can use that self-awareness to heal. Health is hugely important to me; from food and exercise to mindfulness, vacations, and relationships. I believe we can make choices in all aspects of life that support our well-being.
A bit about my background: I was born in Colorado and raised in Louisiana. My college years took place in Georgia, and then I packed up my car and headed for California. After earning my Master of Social Work degree at UC Berkeley, I trained under experienced clinical supervisors and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Beyond my private practice, I’ve provided therapy, training, and consultation within public high schools in San Francisco, and have counseled students with psychological disabilities and ADHD at UC Berkeley.
