H&R Block

I had questions about my taxes and if I was doing them correctly. So I called a couple of HnR block locations to seek help, my first call was a disaster, my second call was excellent and I am glad I called. I explained to Lisa my situation, and she said why don’t we make an appointment for a second look. I made an appointment for later in the day, she saw me early, answered all my questions, and did not charge me again.

I love H&R Block. I didn’t have the same experience as Mary did, but the tax preparers at H&R Block really helped me out. I normally do the taxes myself online and I took my tax return in to get a second look and they found me some $$$$. This was back in 2012. They explained to me the items that I missed that is quite common in many second looks that they do. I’ve been to H&R Block for a few years now and the service is really really good! They also told me I could drop off previous years so that they could take a look at it!
I recommend anyone in this office they are all very helpful. I called in a few times, because I wanted to do my return myself, but it was getting a bit too complicated and the employees at this office were very helpful. Instead of giving myself a weeks worth of headache I decided to use them and brought all my paperwork in, and they did it in less than an hour!
They also told me that if I had a tight schedule and was also leaving the documents with them (they would securely lock it in their cabinets after they were finished) I could drop it off and pick it up at a later date! They would call me when its’ finished and they said their turn around time is usually within a couple of days! That’s faster than any tax return I can prepare!
I’m so ready to go in this year and get my taxes done. H&R Block makes me feel very welcome and I love seeing my tax pro and having our yearly chat about taxes and ways I can help with my deductions (i’m a independent contractor). They also have really good advice when it comes to purchasing a home and how to prepare the documents for when tax season comes rolling around.

Here are reasons why I would NEVER use them again!
— Wanted a 2^nd eye to look through our taxes but the «master tax auditor» said they do not do that and will only do 2009.
— Asked for estimated fee of service. At the end, it was twice the estimated fee.
— Poor communications and explanation
— Does not listen to the client
— Asked NOT to say my SS# out loud but did not listen
— When asked how we would rate the service we didn’t even finish the conversation and the HR Consultant hit «YES» to good service.
— Had to consistently tell «master tax auditor» what to put down
— Had to consistently double check the numbers because she was inputting the number incorrectly.
Should I go on??? Don’t let titles and descriptions of the person in the website fool you because it is NOT accurate at all.
