We stay working with you beyond the signing of your documents to make sure your plan works the way you want it to, when you need it to.

History

Established in 2015.

Guardian Counsel is a relationship-​based planning firm. Our central motivation is to contribute to and enrich your life by providing comprehensive planning and stepping in to assist you when a loved one has passed. What we don’t do is provide «fill-​in-​the-​blank» estate planning documents. The documents we craft are just a byproduct of our ongoing relationship.

We believe nothing is worse than having a plan in place with a false sense of security that the documents will work when needed. Often, plans are left on a shelf and never touched again for many years. Not keeping a plan updated may save money in the short term, but it may be the cause of family disharmony and greater expense when the plan actually needs to be put to work. To ensure that your plan will work the way you want it to, when you need it to, we provide complimentary ongoing three-​year review sessions to see if any changes are needed and then provide discounted updates to have the plan reflect your current intentions.

Business Owner

Michael is dedicated to assisting his clients design their family’s estate plans to preserve their personal and financial well-​being. He believes in forming life-​long relationships with his clients by not only working with them on their initial estate plans, but by continuing to monitor the effectiveness of their plans as his clients’ life circumstances (and the law) change. By doing this, his clients’ plans stay current and properly funded so that when it comes time for the plans to work, they work exactly as his clients expected them to.
