Barista refused to serve my boyfriend coffee because he did not use the proper lingo. How can you run a fkg business like that? The guy was so rude – but he gave me a free coffee for being nice. but it was so watery like tea! Awful experience. Awful coffee.

I got an iced soy latte. They shake it in a metal shaker with ice. The entire drink was so nice and cold without being watered down. The staff was very nice and the décor was super cute and urban. I loved my whole experience.

Good Place, Great coffee. Not a place you can sit down and enjoy your coffee, but a great place to get a coffee and go to work.

Possibly the worst coffee I’ve ever had. Tastes like it was leftover from an AA meeting in a church basement somewhere. $ 2.75 fora small coffee that’s watery and acidic and tastes like scalded cat urine? Never again.

Fact is i was lured into the shop by the aroma, which is a compliment in my book. While waiting for my soy latte I considered purchasing one of the raw juices but then the coffee was ready and the barista recommended I try one of the juices with some seltzer water in the future, so I figured there’s always next time. As for the latte, it tasted a little weak, a bit watered down. I actually love Four Barrel prepared anywhere else but Four Barrel (they always burn it!) and the barista prepared it well it seems… just not enough punch to really give a five star review, and that’s what every café should try to achieve, I figure. Might give them another shot. Still curious about the raw juices after all.

This is a tiny coffee shop, with a tiny menu, but with awesome coffee. They just go to the point.
The place has this kind of cool masculine vibe (simple décor, neutral colors, male waiters) and the people working there are very friendly and nice.
It was a hot day in SF when I came here, so I wanted something cold like a Frappucino. As I said, they have a small menu, so they didn’t have it. But the guy helping me suggested this iced coffee latte drink (I’m not sure of the correct name). The dink was very good. Quite rich and creamy, but the coffee was definitely there and you could taste the quality.
There are almost no places to sit here, so don’t plan on hanging around for too long. I would suggest just getting your drink and going somewhere else.
If you like coffee, you will like it here.

Pretty neat café in Mission, SF. The barista (maybe owner too) is very kind and saved our car from being ticketed. When we told him we were visiting SF from Chicago, he was very hospitable and friendly.
I got a latte with sugar cane syrup in it. It had a nice subtle taste to it, very well balanced, great aroma, and I could barely even taste the espresso.
However, the space was very tiny. It was good to grab a quick cup of coffee to refuel before exploring the artistic neighborhood.

Needed some caffeine prior to an intense game at urban putt.
Got a drip coffee. It was terrible. Likely the worst I’ve ever had.
Acidic, watered down with bits of coffee grounds.

Small coffee shop in the neighborhood spinning cool beats amidst rows of Mexican restaurants. Love the vibe. Coffee made with care. Small place. Not a place to linger for hours but a place to drop by to say hi and get a dose of urban chic coffee in the morning.

Great coffee, but the fact that they serve pomme d’amore from Knead Patisserie just changes the game.
I’ve always gotten great service from the baristas.
They have almond milk and take CC with square!

Hands down the best coffee on the Mission. I specially love their almond latte!
Pro tip: ask them to give you a drop of their cardamom flavoring essence for that extra flavor kick in your coffee.

THIS PLACE!
Every time I’ve gone here there’s only ever been one person working and I’ve always been greeted and served within seconds. Less than three minutes after that I’m holding a nice cup of tasty coffee. I work at a different café so I know that that is no simple task! Well done!
The chalkboard out front is also an amazing touch!

Tucked in the heart of the mission, this places has exquisite coffee! The cappuccinos hit the spot and their lattes are consistently mastering the adequate balance between milk and coffee. As for pastries, my favorite is the chocolate chip cookie — great pick me up treat! The staff are also very friendly, which goes great with the morning cup of joe!

A hidden gem in the mission. Hidden because it’s so small and a gem because they serve Four Barrel coffee and make the best cappuccinos! They also make the best mocha I’ve ever tasted. They use really good cocoa so they don’t have to put excessive amounts of sugar in it to make it taste good. The croissants are the perfect combination of buttery and flakey. I pass this place every morning on my way to work and it takes all the self control I have not to stop in every day.

We were walking on mission st in San francisco, when we pass next to a quaint little coffee shop named Grand Coffee, quite ironic based on its size. The clerks were easy going and the coffee was a delicious blend from Columbia. The experience was one of those that only happens when least expected. There’s nothing like coffee shops the city.

I tried temporarily to stop my coffee habit since my office provides free four barrel, Philz, Starbucks, peets, and Sightglass coffee. The daily Philz addiction can definitely add up without you noticing.
Today I returned to Grand Coffee for a regular cup of coffee but couldn’t resist ordering a Cappuccino instead having seen another customer’s luscious concoction. The espresso (Cappucino is $ 3.50, espresso is $ 2.50) was as smooth tasting as I remember and perfectly complemented with expertly foamed Califia Original Almond Milk (+0.50). I am so glad I ordered this because this was slightly sweet from the almond milk, rich and strong — I’m sending a new addiction. Suggested: Home-​made pistachio milk in iced coffee for a pseudo affogato (+0.75).
For order-​in, enjoy your beverage at the small bar (4 stools) and a complementary seltzer palate cleanser.
They also sell premium chocolate bars, my favorite brand of pastries (Knead pomme d’amores, pecan and plain croissants, lemon ricotta pop tarts, and chocolate chip cookies). On Mondays they only have pastries from Sandbox (chocolate croissant $ 3.50 — MEH).
Note: their prices have increased since last time I came. They have square — CC accepted. This is a super hipster place, I think the owner is nice and warms up to you especially the regulars, but can be a bit brusque at first. Say «hello» and he will be a lot nicer.

Super random coffee place on Mission in between the taquerias, cheap clothing shops, and everything else in between. Greg and I stopped here on a random afternoon and decided to sit and hang out. The décor here was wacky, which is basically me saying that I think it’s cool. The latte I had was poured beautifully, but Greg’s iced coffee was, well, small. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my latte, in a very quiet fashion, but with Middle Eastern music going off in the background. Other Unilocal reviews indicate there were food options here, but when I visited, there were none to be found. They must either be available only in the mornings, or ran out. Definitely an interesting place to check out if you’re looking for a hipster friendly coffee shop.

One of the COOLEST coffee shop in the City! Definitely a hole-​in-​the-​wall because if you blink, you’d miss it! It’s tiny but it delivers a mean, cappuccino!
Their flat white here is amazing. They serve Four Barrel Coffee which is fantastic. There are a couple of chairs outside for, but I much prefer their barstools inside. It’s cozy! Great for dates!
The décor here is funky. It makes me want to rip my jeans, show off a few holes, and possibly dye my hair purple, and put on yellow shades and light up a cig!
Service here was fantastic, and the barista who served me, you can tell, she’s a pro at what she does!

Grand Coffee is just an hole in the wall but they serve great coffee. a few seats inside and out.
