Yay, I found my SF mechanic!!! Okay, so I’m from the East Bay and I’m a chick. So it can be hard to find someone that is awesome and that you can trust. Its almost as hard as looking for a boyfriend that’s right for you. Haha! So my family introduced me to Andy and he’s so cool. Andy and his pop owns this joint and they have a pretty good staff and their pricing is really good too. I took my Mazda in for brakes and body work, and the suspension was so smooth after. Now I’m taking my Scion in for brakes, muffler and radiator work. And this Scion job is sooooo last minute. Just gave him notice today and only giving him 4 hours to do it, cuz I have to get ready for a road trip. He said he could do it, so seriously, how awesome is that. Now, yes he speaks English, but the rest of the gang doesn’t. Don’t be afraid if you aren’t Chinese.. . he will still be a honest up front dude with ya. So check them out.…for sure!

My CLK 430 was hit by a car who reversed and backed up right into my passenger side fender and door panel last week and I was recommended to see Andy at Golden Express. I was able to get a check by the insurance company and took my car into Andy’s to get estimates on repairs.
Andy is one of the coolest, honest, trustworthy, down-​to-​earth person I have met in a very long long time. I didn’t know such people still exists these days especially with everything thats going on including this recession we’re going through. Moreover, Andy was able to give me a very cool deal with repairing my new damages and went beyond my expectations, doing additional work that my benz was definitely in need of which had been long over due which included scratches on my driver side fender that got really rusted over time, my lower front lip cracked nearly in half almost ready to fall out, and other markings and spots in which he retouched on top of that and it only took him 4 days to get the work done as promised.
My Benz is back in action and i love it… all thanks to Andy and his team for their tremendous work with great quality service.
He’s definitely highly recommended and believe me, I’ve had a lot of cars and been through enough accidents and auto body shop over time,
and I have to admit he really impressed me with his work ethics and quality services.

My 4Runner was side swiped (while i was sitting in it!) by some lady who didn’t know how to park. She accepted responsibility but it turns out her insurance company only works directly with 1 auto shop in SF. When I checked out their reviews on Unilocal,I decided there was no way I was taking my car to them.
So, I got the insurance company to cut me a check for estimated repair work and then started looking around for a shop to do the mostly cosmetic repairs.
My boyfriend had just had his car totally revived by Golden Express and couldn’t say more about how great, trust worthy, and cost effective they are… Done, I decided to give them a chance.
I am so happy I did! Andy fixed all the damage, plus my antenna that had been broken for a year… (which Toyota had quoted me over $ 300 to fix) for a ¹⁄₃ of the cost of the estimated repairs check I received from the insurance company. I walked away with my car in better shape then ever before, plus extra money in my pocket, which I never expected to happen.
I am forever going to be a loyal customer to Andy and Golden Express!
