History

Established in 2007.

Annie founded Get A Love Life in 2007 after successfully coaching part-​time for four years and receiving her relationship coaching certification. Since then she has been transforming many dating lives from despair into confidence, love and satisfying long-​term relationships. She helps her clients to identify and conquer unproductive limiting beliefs, identify what is important, and effectively pursue their romantic goals. Many clients start seeing results after just a few weeks of working with her.

Annie is a frequent guest speaker at Bay Area singles events, and speaks about dating on radio and TV. She coaches private clients in person, on the phone, or via web-​conference. In 2011, she launched a Dating Insider Coaching Group, which meets on the phone.

Annie is an expert on meeting online, and uses web-​based videos to help her clients make the most of online dating.

She collaborates with other dating experts, and is the San Francisco Dating Examiner for San Francisco exam​iner​.com.

I team up with single men and women who are frustrated with the dating scene, and work with them to transform their love life with my 5 step program. My goal is to help men and women find happiness with someone who genuinely appreciates them. Dating coaching can make an amazing difference in your love-​life.

I launched Get A Love Life because I’m passionate about helping people find love. I worked with clients who were mostly men for two decades. Many of them repeatedly sought out my love-​life advice. I was struck by the ways that men and women perceive the same things differently. I helped people identify self-​destructive patterns and guide them into new habits which allowed them to be successful at love.

I post weekly articles as the Dating Examiner at exam​iner​.com and Annie’s Dating Blog at getalovelife​.net. I’m the dating expert at 50+fabulous.com.

I also team up with other dating experts, speak about handling mid-​life dating dilemmas for various organizations, TV, and radio.

A 30-​yr-​old female acquaintance referred Annie to me after she heard my complaint about my go-​nowhere two-​year relationship «Get rid of him and call Annie» she had said. I trusted her advice because I know her awesome boyfriend whom she met shortly after working with Annie. She said she had always been attracted to «bad boys» but after working with Annie, she realized she needed to make some changes. Now she and her man are in a committed longterm live-​in relationship and I have no doubt they will get married in the not too distant future. So I called Annie. Initially I wanted her to help me get my noncommittal boyfriend to get to a deeper place with me. However, from the initial free phone with Annie she quickly figured out what I was doing wrong with my dating behavior. As a young widow who had been in a longterm marriage I had no clue how to date. Annie encouraged me to end my «go-​nowhere» relationship to open myself up to meeting the right kind of man. I took her advice so that now I’m meeting men of substance who are emotionally available. Annie specializes in helping middle-​aged men and women in revamping their formerly unsuccessful dating behavior by defining «must haves» and «can’t stands» that can make or break a relationship. Her in-​depth exercises clarified what is most important to me in finding a partner who is right for me. Although I am still looking for my perfect match, I am enjoying the process more while searching for my soulmate. Annie not only helped me rewrite my online profile so that I attract emotionally available men but she also helped me get fantastic photos that show my real personality. I’ve met some great guys recently, not just on the internet but some at business events and singles mixers, because Annie taught me how to signal my availability in a very classy way. Annie is a great coach! She helped me get my love life back on track after the end of a long term relationship, by giving me great coaching about how to build up my confidence again and how to delicately navigate the realms of modern dating– not always the most fun. I have dated a ton over the years, but not very effectively. I managed to always date guys that my friends didn’t love and I felt like I was trying hard to make it work with sucky guys. Annie helped me to better understand what I’m looking for (which didn’t align with the guys I was dating before), how to find those guys, and how to set myself up for a successful relationship. She has a great understanding of how men and women think (differently) and how I could use that understanding in all aspects of a relationship. She doesn’t give cookie cutter answers. I’m getting married in July! It would not have happened without Annie!
A couple of years ago I woke up and thought I am never going to find someone unless I change things up. I hired Annie as a coach and it took me a while to understand what she was really telling me, and to commit to changing the way I approached meeting men. When I finally began to seriously apply her tools, I started having a lot of fun, and then voila! I suddenly met THE one.

Annie is right, in general terms older men need to get it out of their heads to stop seeking younger women to validate their egos among their male friends and stop this outdated and damaging mentality. It leaves both parties unhappy and as usual it doesn’t work out not in the long run, at least not in this century. Annie can really help her clients with a love life makeover and get what you really want. She gave me great advice on how to meet and interact with prospective dates and what to avoid. Sometimes when there is a guy I really like I am too shy to initial conversation because I don’t know if he’s in a relationship. Its very obvious but sometimes we don’t always take advantage of the moment in real time: smile and make eye contact. If there is an instant mutual attraction that is what you want among other things but its an important start. I went to Annie and now I am feeling out the waters with several prospects! I’m very selective. Its fun to talk about the details with Annie and stratagize and get tactical ideas.
