Four Seasons Nails & Tanning

I’m not sure if I had this Helen lady everyone mentions, but my experience was fantastic! I went in on Monday, it was quiet, only one other woman inside with me, just what I needed to relax.
I was thoroughly impressed on how pampered I was when I got my pedicure. Rose water, microbead scrub, exfoliation, washed, wrapped in two hot towels, hot rock massage and finally lotioned! I was in heaven! I’m coming back forever and recommending this place to all my girlfriends!

I love this place. Helen is the best!
They have a wonderful selection of polishes, and those super comfortable massage chairs that you can stay in forever.
The pedicures include a hot stone massage, are competitively priced and I feel like they take their time to really pamper you.
Four Seasons is clean, and relaxed, and I recommend making reservations!

I had a wonderful experience here. While they said they were out of the original color I picked, I went with white and my manicurist gave me one of the best manicures I’ve ever gotten. Often times the gel is thick at the tip, which I don’t love — but here, the lady made them look absolutely perfect. I live an hour north, but whenever I’m in town I will be back!

I LOVE THIS SALON and it’s worth the Saturday AM drive from Berkeley every 2 weeks for finger, toes and facial pampering! They do a excellent job with a pleasant attitude. Thank you Helen &‘Ladies!

I come to this place all the time, I even go out of my way to go here. They really strive to make sure you are satisfied with your nails and make it a point to get to know you as well. Every time I go, almost everyone in there is a repeat customer who you can tell enjoys being there for their great service. 5 stars for Helen and the rest of the crew for the quality of their service.

Helen and her team are awesome.
She made me feel welcome when i walked in the door. He team was just as friendly as she was. Kelly (who i highly recommend) was super nice and wasnt pushy about selling things to me. I feel like most places wanna upsel all the time. She offered a couple things and really left the choice to me with no sales pitch.
I walked in with no appt and they were kind enough to take care of me right away. They laugh and joke and make you feel right at home. Helen truly loves getting to know all her guest that walk in the door.

I really thought I would like this place since they took their time doing my nails and it was super enjoyable. I went there 2 times and they messed up both times. First time they left my nails jacked and didn’t ask how to shape them and second time they took close to two hours to do my nails and they were chipping within 5 days and ripping. I definitely don’t recommend this place

I come here for tanning, as I live really close. They only have one bed, which is fine because there usually isn’t anyone else tanning and it’s never a long wait. Their prices are pretty good, but don’t let them trick you into buying their oil/​lotion because you can find it elsewhere a lot cheaper than the 30 $ they charged me. The people working are super nice and friendly and they don’t mind when i come in right before closing. The only bummer is that the maximum time in a bed is 12 minutes which is fine for what i ned but i feel like other people would laugh at it.

Found my go-​to nail place after newly moving to the city! Super sweet workers, very clean, comfortable & efficient! Loved my pedicure & gel manicure. Definitely will be back!

What a wonderful find in the neighborhood of St. Mary’s hospital! The manicure and pedicure were two of the best I have ever experienced. The water was warm and not hot, the massage chair was set to a very comfortable setting. Thought I was in heaven when they used warm lotion and offered to give me a longer foot massage.
The manicure was equally the best I ever had! They even massage your arms, shoulder and neck! The ladies who work there were welcoming, warm and helpful
as I’m visiting SF. Looking forward to my next visit!

The ladies here were nice enough, but all I really care about when spending $ 40 on my nails is a good job that will last. I came here for a gel manicure on my natural nails. I’ve never been terrified during a manicure, but definitely was here. The lady was extremely fast, rough and careless with the sharp tools they use. I was sure she was going to cut me bad. She didn’t, but did scrape my fingers a lot while trying to take off the previous gel that was there. She was just as rough and fast with the sharp cutting tool they use for cuticles. Terrifying… My manicure looked good when I left, but I got a french manicure with different colored tips. The color she used for the tips didn’t look familiar to be a gel brand. I was suspicious she was using regular nail polish for the tips, but wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt that she had more common sense than that. Well, the tips started chipping after one day– badly. Not a couple chips here and there, but ALL the color on the french tips started coming off completely. After 3 days, every one of my nails looked absolutely horrible. then I noticed the base color starting to bubble (separate from my real nail) in several different places, which I’d never even seen before from the dozens of times I’ve gotten gel manicures. On one of my fingers, the bubble created a huge chip since its separating from nails. I’ve never had a gel manicure last less than 2 weeks, let alone look absolutely horrible after a couple days. Its been less than a week and I’ve already booked an appointment at my regular place to get them re-​done. What a huge waste of money!

Super comfy, clean, and they almost always do a great job. Sometimes a little pushy about trying out new types of paint and/​or paying in cash, but overall it’s worth it.
I especially love the warm lotion massage and hot towels afterwards.

I come here every two weeks and bring my mom when she comes to visit. They are always super friendly. I love the nail art and colors. I have also gotten my waxing here and Helen is the best!

If a get an hour or two to myself, this is where I come. I have been coming here since it opened as Four Seasons, and every experience has been a good one. Friendly, reasonably priced, clean, convenient, and relaxing. In fact, I have not visited another SF nail salon since Helen opened her doors. I also get my facial waxing done here and I never turn down the extra massage. That would be CRAZY.

I was really crazy about this place at first. It’s tough to find a decently priced nail salon that has massage chairs and gives nice foot massages. And this place does.
The staff isn’t the friendliest and sometimes they can be rough with how they handle their pedicures, but it’s still my go to place for now until I find a place that can compete with the prices and massage chairs.
I like to go during off hours, i.e. during weekdays or late on a Sunday. They close at 6 on Sundays so I like to come a little after 5.
They do eyebrow waxing decently as well. But I have found a better place on clement for eyebrows.
Just a tip, call beforehand to make an appointment. Also, the water is always a little too hot so don’t be afraid to speak up and tell them to make it cooler so you don’t burn your feet.

Much better. The ladies were very apologetic about my last experience Nx they called offering a free manicure to make up for my experience last time. I scheduled a same day appointment right after I returned from vacation and they were able to fit me in. When I arrived the manager was there and she apologized profusely. She explained that regular nail polish and gel top coat should never go together because they are made for two different materials. I wish I had been told that before my vacation!!!
They were very kind and made sure I had a better experience. They also said that if I have a problem with the current manicure or a future manicure, just return to the shop and they will handle it. I am a fan and will return!

Just moved here from NYC, and while NYC has the cream of the crop places this places offers better customer service… accommodating, polite and all with a smile. By the time we were done i knew everyones name and the mani /​pedi was awesome.

This was my first time in this nail salon, i’m new to this neighborhood. I wanted the gel nails. The women working there were so very sweet!
Everyone made me feel really welcome. I was nervous about asking for an additional coat on my nails, but the woman was more than happy to take her time with me. My nails came out great and have lasted over two weeks.
I highly recommend going here :)
