Based in San Francisco, Fiona Chan fell in love with photography at a very early age. It was all in the light!

Specializing in wedding ceremonies, unique engagement settings and child portraits, she has traveled the world to create memorable photographs in beautiful locations including Egypt, Argentina and Austria. Fiona holds a BA in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA in Finance from Golden Gate University. This academic «attention to detail» carries over to her artistic endeavors.

Fiona’s experience, creativity and artistic vision make her the ideal photographer for your special day and/​or occasion. Her style is modern and playfully offbeat. I was referred to Fiona by a mutual friend. My wedding was October 10th in Las Vegas and Fiona and I had never met in person before the actual day. When she arrived in my room the night before I knew instantly we clicked. She’s a ball of energy and absolutely awesome. She covered my wedding the following day and was extremely professional and on point the whole time. She stayed long past the time we had discussed and never stopped capturing our special moments. I received my photos last week, not even a month after the wedding, and I couldn’t be more happy. They are absolutely beautiful, perfect in every way. I cannot tell you how pleased I was with every piece of her participation in my special day. I would highly recommend her for any and all of your photo needs!!!

This is the second time Fiona took photos of our family. She went way above and beyond for us. Taking photos of very energetic boys – ages 4 and 1 – is not an easy task! I met Fiona through a mutual friend. I could tell she had a good eye for things, and asked her to work on photo project I’d be wanting to do for a while.
She did a terrific job on the project. She discussed the goals up front, came up with a great approach, made many really great suggestions, and asked for my input all along the way to make sure I was happy with the result. She is very good at her craft, and really fun to work with. The photos came out great. And her price was very competitive.
If you’re looking for someone professional yet relaxed, for a big or small project, she’s a great choice.

Fiona did a mini portrait session in Union Square, and then took pictures at my birthday party at a lounge.
The portraits came out wonderful with her direction. We had little time but she produced some wonderful shots!
The birthday photos were fun as she was able to capture the mood and gave us the opportunity to put the phones away, to not worry about taking photos ourselves, and just enjoy.
Can’t wait to use Fiona again when I get the opportunity!

Fiona Chan definitely knows how to capture the new love in our house! Our son spent several hours in various positions, but the results are absolutely stunning!
My wife looks fabulous as a new mom. My mother-​in-​law looks quite pleased as a new grandmother. And my mother will soon be holding him as well in an upcoming trip.

We met with Fiona in Golden Gate Park for a mini portrait session arranged through the Golden Gate Moms Group. This was a quick and affordable way to get some adorable Christmas pictures done. The short session was especially good for my preschooler, who doesn’t sit still for long. Fiona was patient with the kids and followed us around to get some casual shots, letting the kids be themselves. I was very happy with how the photos turned out. Thanks Fiona!
