Photos to capture moments in my life is a big deal to me. Let’s just say, I’m the lady who takes pictures of everything. So, when it came time to get a photographer for our wedding, it was harder than I expected. Bottom line, they are not cheap. Aside from purchasing your venue and the rings, the next expensive vendor item would be the photographer.
I found ES Creation through
. I was looking for a photographer who was affordable but also produced beautiful pictures. They provided us a custom package. Please note this was a custom package which was quoted to me in September, which is subject to change.
My package consisted of a FREE engagement photo shoot (90 minutes plus 8 digital photos at one location must be done before 12.31.15). Two photographers (one that covered 10 hours and the other 5 hours). Digital image with color correction on disk. Total value $ 2,000.00
We met with Simon and Tika and they showed us their portfolio and the pictures were beautiful. We knew right away they were the people for our special day. We originally discussed a $ 300 deposit. To my surprise when I received the contract before our meeting, we needed to put $ 650.00 down. Luckily we had that amount.
We had our engagement photos taken on Baker Beach, SF on 12.11.15 and both Simon and Tika were there. They are super nice. They guided us through the process. How to pose and where to go. It was freezing that day and it was really nice of them to provide us hand warmers. My fiancé and I had a great time, regardless of the freezing cold and having no feeling in our feet. LOL.
We received our engagement photos a month later. Our pictures turned out great.
If you’re looking for an affordable photographer, I would recommend ES creation. My only complaint about their services is I wasn’t sure who I was talking to on the email. Sometimes it would be Simon and other times it would be Tika. My suggestion to them is they should have one person doing emails/​phone conversations with the client. This will prevent less confusion.

4 months…20 days…22 hours… and counting til the big event!

I have worked with Simon at different occasions – fashion shows, individual and group fashion photo shoot, events, and business portraits. Simon has been consistently producing top quality images. It is always pleasant experience working with Simon. He is a true artist who always know how to capture the true beauty of each person.
After years working with many different professional photographers, I have to say that Simon is definitely top notch. He is now my go-​to photographer for any occasion. Highly recommended if you are looking for someone who cares about you and who can actually provide the highest quality of work for your important moments.

Simon helped us shoot an outdoor family session. He was very professional and took some really great photos of my girls. We had asked him to shoot our family photos because he shot our wedding photos 8 years ago. We were fans of his work then and so happy that he was available to take our pictures on short notice.

Only positive things to say about this company. Very professional and such beautiful work. Just finished our engagement session and our wedding is coming up soon. I am so pleased with their work I cannot wait to see what is in store. I highly recommend ES Creation to anyone who needs a great photographer.

I just recently got married and chose Simon and Yoki as my photographers. Of all vendors, I must say that they were the most easiest and an absolute pleasure to work with! I’m EXTREMELY happy to have found and used them to capture my special day! I can’t give enough thanks to you guys!
First off, I’m amazed by the quality and professionalism of their work. Compared to other professional photographers, Simon and Yoki come at the best price for top notch quality.
Secondly, I still can’t believe the pricing I got was so low for such quality work! One thing that really stood out to me was how passionate they are about their work and their true love for photography. They’re always stressing my now husband and I to be there and follow their instructions so they can capture the candid, real moments of my special day. And I’m glad they did because the photos were breath taking! You really don’t see a lot of people still so passionate about what they do.
Please please please check them out and all the masterpieces they can create for you. They are such a steal compared to other photographers. Quality for such a low cost. You won’t regret it!

Three years after Simon took the family portrait for us, we had a renewal wedding at Berkeley in July 2014. Of course, I reached out to Simon again. But unfortunately he was in Taiwan and could not make it. Simon recommended his partner, Yoki, to me. I was a bit worried and concerned. However, it turned out Yoki was excellent too! They really have similar styles. Yoki was very professional and experienced. What impressed me was his passion for capturing the best moments for us.
I recently attended a couple of wedding in East Bay and really saw the difference between Yoki and other photographers.
1. Yoki gave me tons of ideas of gestures and positions.
2. He gave guidance to people when we take group pictures.
3. He kept taking pictures during almost the entire ceremony and reception.
4. Good catch of precious moments. I got a lot of complements from my guests when they saw the group pictures. Almost everyone’s expression was perfect and natural.
5. My scheduled shooting time ends at 9pm. They didn’t leave until the reception party was over, past 9:30pm. They didn’t charge me for any extra.
I’m so happy to have ES creation to take my wedding photos. I’ll definitely come back again. Maybe I should keep the secret so that next time when I need them, they will still be available. Well, I guess I would feel guilty if I did that! :)

Our family is a repeat customer of Simon and Yoki. That says it all.
We had them taking our family pictures with our two kids two years ago. They are very patient with the kids and able to capture the right moment while kids were skateboarding, catching baseball, running etc. We also did lot of family portraits and they all turned out very well.
Fast forward to two years later, we got a new family member, a red husky. We contacted Simon and Yoki to take updated photos with our lovely dog. Guess what, they can even take gorgeous vivid pictures for our dog. Friends saw our dog pictures all thought he was a model dog :)
They have a very high standard and understand what we need. We communicated very well before each take. With the appropriate equipment, skills and most importantly experience, they turn everything so perfectly that we have great moment captured and posted on our family walls.

Yoki was my photographer for my city hall wedding and he did a fantastic job. The pictures came out amazing! I would definitely use them for my upcoming wedding party. He was fun and playful when shooting our picture which made a stressful day less stressful for me and my wife.
Unfortunately I did not meet Simon, but did communicated with him through email to organize the time and location. He was very pleasant to work with and patience with my million questions and requests.
I would recommend them to all my buddies who for there weddings.

Simon and Yoki were my wedding photographers. I can’t say enough amazing things about them… there should be 6 stars! The quality of their work is unmatched that I’ve seen compared to other wedding photography. They take classic, yet artistic photos. They are kind and fun and energetic and unassuming. If you want to have really awesome pictures of your wedding day, choose ES Creation Photography. I spoke with Sandy (the manager) to set everything up and she was really great as well. Sandy helped assure me that everything was going to be so wonderful, and she was right. All I kept hearing was that it was an honor to take pictures for our wedding day, it was my honor to have them all be a part of it. All of my friends AND other vendors like the makeup artist kept saying how awesome Simon and Yoki were. They also took pictures of my rehearsal dinner at my house and went above and beyond expectation for that.
I am so thankful to have had a chance encounter with someone in an elevator in San Francisco that mentioned ES Creation to me. I may have never found them otherwise, and they were meant to take our pictures.

It was such a pleasure working with the Escreation team for my engagement photos as well as wedding photos (Yoki, Adi, Alvina [photographers] and Sandy [manager]). They definitely offer the BEST value based on my research. Not only was our package competitively priced, but the pictures turned out beautiful. They also deliver fast service; they uploaded some sneak peeks within a few days after taking them.
My package included a 3 hour engagement session with 3 locations of our choice, one engagement photo enlargement (20×30), 18 digital files from engagement session, 1 8×11 wedding photo album (VERY NICE!), 300 4×6 photos in nice photo boxes, 1 wedding photo enlargement with frame (20×30), ALL my wedding day photos (yes guys, ALL of them! unlike most places that only allow you to keep a certain amount), 12 hours wedding day session, wedding photo video with 3 songs and last but not least, since I signed up before year end, they were offering a Christmas special which was a same day wedding slideshow. Holy molly! It was definitely a nice addition; our guests were able to enjoy the slideshow during our reception.
With such a great deal you would think they offer mediocre service or bad quality photos, but nope! On the day of engagement session, they worked overtime to ensure delivery of the best quality photos for my husband and me. We were definitely thankful for their hard work. Btw, Yoki and Adi took my engagement photos, and they were also the photographers for my wedding along with their assistant photographer, Alvina. Even though my package only included 2 photographers, they brought an additional for more coverage, isn’t that so great of them? They wanted to ensure everything was captured on our special day! =)
Sandy is the manager and she was the point of contact when I first inquired about their packages. She was very sweet and did good follow up work. She understands the importance of our special day. Just let her know what you want and your budget, she will try her hardest to make it work. Sandy is very talented, not only is she the manager, she’s also a make-​up artist as well as a singer and MC! So do inquire with her especially if you’re going to have a lot of Chinese guest, she can speak the language and make sure all your guests are entertained!
Yoki was our main photographer; he worked very hard on our wedding day! He has some really good quality cameras as well. I heard he barely ate during dinner because he wanted to get everything on camera, thank you so much Yoki! He’s very sweet and fun to work with! I hope to work with him again in the near future.
My friend loved our photos so much, she also went with Escreation for their engagement and wedding photos! It was very nice to see the team again! =D
As you are planning, you will realize how EXPENSIVE everything costs but at the same time, it’s a once in a lifetime event (hopefully!) so skimp on the things that are not important and delegate funds to those that are, unless you’re rich, get everything you want! haha Good luck, it’ll be stressful but well worth it! =)

Got our wedding album from the ES Creation team and it’s fabulous! Very professional and the composition looks great. They all have a really good eye and put together a great layout of photos. Thanks again! Will highly recommend them.

Simon takes great pictures. And for the budget we wanted, it was great service.
The only 2 downsides were that (1) he arrived an hour later than we wanted him to be there (but stayed an extra hour) and (2) he did not take as many candid individual photos of my close family as I wanted. There were 1 – 2 photos of my parents in candid shots, but 10’s of certain other friends. So that was upsetting.
While the end product was great, there were also a few times during our communication pre-​wedding that I was concerned about getting my message across.

Simon Fu and his team are amazing. I had them shoot a fashion show fundraiser for my daughter’s school last month. When I saw the photos I was so proud. They knew how to use the camera to catch the right lighting, right expressions, heart and soul of the person. Highly recommend for your weddings, special events, children, pets. Anything you love. You get quality and competitive pricing.

Do yourself a favor and hire Simon. Hands down the best photographer I’ve ever worked with, and I work with a lot of photographers. He is incredibly reasonable, so much so, that my fiancé and I felt like we were getting away with something.
When I first saw Simon’s photos, I thought it had to be a scam, the photos were gorgeous and his pricing is unmatched by anyone else in the Bay area (and in San Diego for his quality of work!)…but Simon was so responsive that I gave him a shot.
Boy, did we make the right decision. My now husband and I got married at the City Hall, and though we planned to do everything low key, Simon did not treat our ceremony as low key at all.
He arrived earlier than we did. He knows City Hall and knew the ropes in terms of the process. And, even though we had to wait for our appointment, Simon was consistently working to get great shots the entire time.
My husband and I are not big on the camera, we’re awkward, we don’t know how to pose, but Simon navigated us through the shots and directed us to produce some wonderful photos. And, I am my worse critic! I always think I look fat!
He also drove with us to the beach so that we could get shots on the water and took his time with us. We did not feel rushed at all.
Best of all, Simon is incredibly honest and you end up getting a lot more than you pay for. He stayed way longer than we contracted him for, he paid a contractor to help and he had travel costs, I’m sure.
My husband liked him so much that he said when we have family photos, we will fly up to the Bay Area just to hire Simon… and my husband is not the kind of guy to gloat on service!
I absolutely loved working with Simon and I would recommend him to everyone I know! He is just a classy person, and an all around nice guy who produces high quality work. I can not say enough wonderful things about it. He deserves 100 stars for just being the total package.

We are so excited to see our wedding day photos, they are so beautiful!
I was worried that we might look exhausted with lots of planning and preparation works right before our wedding day. But Simon and his team had made this day at ease, we were cheered up and had lots of fun moments with our wedding parties and guests throughout the day.
Es Creation has a team of great artists; their charisma and dedications create a record of life time memory, that one day, we would like to show it to our children how happy everyone was on that day.

Imagine looking for a photographer/​videographer for a once in lifetime event like a wedding. You don’t want to screw it up. The prices/​packages are all over the place. You hear horror stories of friends who just overpaid for the peace of mind and were thoroughly dissapointed with the final results.
At a time like this, finding Simon from ES creation was such a lucky break! Simon carefully listened to us and came up with a plan that was just right for us. Unlike many others, his plan was very reasonable with no hidden fees. Still, we were taking a chance. It wasn’t till the wedding day that we found out how lucky we had been. His team was awesome — very professional and understanding. Made us totally relaxed for the video and photoshoot. The quality of their work is superb! These guys keep a low profile, are very reasonable and at the same time deliver exceptional quality results. Highly recommended!

OMG. I wish we can rate ES Creation with more than 5 stars. I think they deserve all 100 stars. It’s my second review, because we are so amazed by their work. I posted my first review after we saw our Engagement photos, saying that those photos were breathtaking. And I posted how excited we are to take more pictures of our wedding now.
We had our wedding on June 3^rd, we were taking a lot of different pictures: serious, classy, elegant, and even funny.
Simon and his crew worked so professionally and it was extremely easy to communicate with them! The pictured turned out beyond breathtaking. I have no word to describe how beautiful the pictures our. There are pictures of the moments that wouldn’t be forgotten for the rest of our life.
We are so happy that we had ES Creation as our photographers and videographers. They are amazing.
Now, after the whole thing ended, I can say they are going to be our Family photographer. Cannot wait to have more work done with them in a future.

This is my very first review here on Unilocal and it’s a great honor and pleasure for me to write this review for a genuinely deserving individual, Simon Fu of ES Creations.
Simon took pictures of my SF city hall civil wedding just this last Valentine’s day and me and my now husband are nothing but amazed at how wondeful the pictures turned out. They were truly gorgeous and everyone in my family and friends circle gave me tonnes of compliment. I am really looking forward to Simon covering my Indian wedding ceremony as well as the Engagement shoot which was given to us with compliments of ES Creations when we signed up for their Wedding Package.
Simon is very easy to work with and very dependable and trustworthy. He responds to emails and phone calls quickly and one does not need to run around and give him reminders. He is very punctual and sharp and I personally found that he truly has the best interests of his clients at heart. On our wedding day, he was able to talk to the officiant and secure us the Rotunda at the City Hall, which is one of the best locations. Had he not asked, we would have never known. Simon knowns the City hall like the back of his hands.
Another thing that really impressed me and my family was the turn around time for pictures. I had my pictures within three business days, all color corrected and post processed available for viewing on smugmug. The rates offered by ES Creations are also very resonable and they have quite a few packages to choose from.
Overall, Simon is just a real nice person and he made us feel really comfortable while shooting where it just felt like it was a friend who was taking our pics. Simon is very professional and really makes sure he gets the pictures his clients wants for e.g. we wanted to take pics outside in our getaway car and even though it was raining, Simon waited out in the rain and continued taking pics until he had few nice shots.
I can go on and on but to keep it short and sweet, if u want quality, reliability, affordability, punctuality and professionalism then I can vouch that you can count on Simon Fu of ES Creations.

We got married in July this year. ES Creation (Simon and his crew) did a great job of capturing the day on video. They were very professional, courteous, and had great ideas on getting our vision across.
We had a Chinese style wedding for the morning followed by a Western style wedding ceremony and reception. Simon and his crew spent the time to make sure all the special moments were not missed. They even stayed longer due to my big family!
Editing was also great, Simon put together the video and had great direction for showcasing the day. Simon gave us time to review and make final edits, but the final video is 99% his vision and we will treasure it forever.
