We specialize in designing and creating anything you can imagine! We do everything from wedding dresses to custom swimsuits, and all the things in between. We can tackle tricky tailoring, copy your favorite garments, repair and restore beloved vintage pieces, and of course come up with new designs. We have over 20 years of experience and our customers are always 100% satisfied.

History

Established in 2011.

Ericka James began as a humble custom design business focusing on «creative tailoring», which eventually branched out to completely custom designs. Now, along with creating any custom design a client could dream of, we also help out up and coming fashion designers in the Bay Area who need help with pattern-​making, sample sewing, and general advice on design, construction, and fabric technology. We also assist designers with creating tech packs and help communicate with the designer’s factory to prevent mis-​communications and mistakes.

Business Owner

Ericka is the owner, head designer, and seamstress behind this business. She has a Master’s Degree in fashion design and has been classically trained in pattern making and tailoring. She can literally make anything you can dream of!
