I’ve been cooking nearly all my life and writing about it for newspapers and the web since the 90s, but I only began cooking professionally in 2006. Over the years, my moves and travels have introduced me to new foods and cooking techniques, all of which, in one way or another, have influenced the flavors and dishes I create today. I attended cooking school at City College of San Francisco but I worked my first catering gig well before that: at a nudist gathering in Amador County. Catering, I have learned, is always an adventure.
